I like the comments saying that they got screwed out of 3,000 dollars or whatever. My question is why didn't you work your business? Or why'd you quit so early? lol.
It is ok to think that MLM,network marketing is a scam because that is what the majority believes. But have your facts correct when bashing a person that is thinking outside the box the 1%.. people like robert kiyosaki. Realize you are responsible for your life. The decisions, the choices you make are yours. Don't blame others for things not working out, take responsibility, change the things that need changing
It's not a scam at all. It's just that the top 1% make 99% of the money. The longer the company has been around the harder it is to "break in" and make enough money to support yourself (and a family). The quote We don't have jobs is a crock though and a sales pitch. They have jobs....with Usana.

Funny comments I see here, I don't even need to know who these negative people are to know that they are NOT successful. Sorry to burst your bubbles but USANA, both business and product, have changed MILLIONS of people life for the better, and I'll tell you this, all of those people have 2 things in common:
1. connected to USANA.
2. They all have dream, and they're all almost there.
the one thing that bothers me the most about your comment is you assume anyone "blasting" Usana is not successful. You have absolutely no proof of this at all, in any way, shape or form. Usana is like any other MLM (or any business for that matter). If you have passion and are willing to work you can make money. Money doesn't buy happiness though no matter how you earn it.
@Canadaboy9966 Yes I don't have any evidence to proof that those who r negative r not successful, but it is obvious that those who r not willing to go out of their comfort zone, those who r afraid to try/learn/accept anything that is outside of their "knowledge" will not make it to the 5% (US Bureau of Labor Statistics) of the population who are making most of the money.
And to many around the world, people in the 5% is considered successful.
Again, that is your opinion and not fact. As is ANY business (and MLM (Usana included) are businesses.) if you have passion and work hard you can make money. You can also lose money even if you have passion and work hard. You know the old saying "The only things guaranteed in life are death and taxes". MLM's are a proven business model. If I was to get into one I would prefer a newer company and get in on the ground floor (so to speak). There are lots of ways to make money in thisworld

@asi3nguy Look at the comparative guide to nutritional supplements. Centrum is one of the lowest ranked products. And as for marketing you will fail in your business if you don't know how to market effectively. Stick to your job.
Regarding the compensation system, I do not see how it is fair that someone has to balance legs of income. It appears designed to enable the company to take as much as they can and give as little as they can in return. On commission I get a percentage of what I sell, but with USANA if sales are $80,000 in one leg, but $4,000 in the other leg, you only get commission on the combined amount of $8,000. They still get $84,000. Its hard work and a gamble for the distributor: appears immoral to me.
@USANAK only $4,000 is balanced. the remaining $76,000 on one side is carried over to the next week, until such time that a new pair is generated on the other side. Nothing is flushed out.
I watched a video where points were flushed. 3500 left side and 2500 right side. You get paid on 2000 according to the chart, which is only $400. He said they deduct 2000 points you was paid on your left and right side. Correction 2000 was paid on the left and 2000 on the right the company flushed.
@USANAK balancing legs makes it fair. I currently have an unlimited amount of points (basically haha) on one leg, and none on the other. And, I have all those points only because my upline put an associate there for me. Would it be fair for me to make all that money for work i didnt even do? No, I must now put in some work to build the otger leg so i can make money. Otherwise I would get money for literally nothing, which is unfair and would put usana out of business
First, the product is good; been using it for years. Put my incurable medical condition into remission. If I stop using it the symptoms return. HOWEVER, the company is awful! For example, took over 3 hours, 5 calls, to put in my order today. Simple or not every time you call it is a major event. Super poor service! Korea or Australia, same thing! I do NOT recommend USANA as a business. They are awful! If I ever find another product that does the same thing for me I will dump USANA with glee.
USANA is growing fast in the PHILIPPINES too. If you want to become a USANA Philippines Independent Distributor and Associate. Call or text me at +639277938771 or visit our Makati Office, 24/F The Enterprise Center Tower 1, Ayala Ave. cor Paseo de Roxas, Makati City
wow! this is great! I've worked so hard, going to school, moving to states to earn a masters and i work at del taco!!!! maybe i should get into this pyramid scheme too!!!!
Hahah Callejas you bastard, I cant believe you still stealing money from innocent people! Btw did you enjoyed ripping people off on Vizion one, upps I mean Infenet, so called MLM , you are a disgrace! you should be ashame .
ahaha sure poor but honest! btw you must be one of those brainless brainwashed girls that wants the easy way to be rich on A MLM right!! keep dreaming!!
not only are the products great, there opertunity is even better, i have joined with usana and 6 weeks later, im making an extra $1000+ a month and its just growing every week. you can make more than $1000 a week, if you put your heart into it. if you like to join ill help you with all the info you need just leave me a private message.
MLM is stupid its a period sceme. MLM doesn't make their products cheaper...
If that was true walmart and homedepot will be out of business its simple economics people. Usana is such a small company to companies like proctor and gamble.
@bowflexor LOL small oh ok cool that doesnt mean we cant grow right? i mean we just hit 3 billion dollars in recession. Featured in INC magazine and ROBERT ALLEN stated USANA is a recession proof business.
they dont take comision money from the ppl working under them. and they get promoted by hitting requirement for the next level and they got matching bonuses which means if u get the ppl under u to Platinum Placesetter then they get the money theyve made and u get the same amount for getting them there and also the money uve made for that week as well
I know Usana's product is not what they claim it is. The quality is not worth what you charge. Now don't get me wrong, I did not say you can't get rich from it, im saying the product sucks. I have a bachelors in food and nutrition plus I look the part, not just knowledgeable
TheNarutoPianist has a bachelors in food nutrition but he does not know what he's talking about.. what a loser... try reading mims and PDR or the comparative guide of lyle macwilliams. in case you dont know anything it is a professionals guide of 1500 products in us and canada.. what a disgrace to your own alma matter that thought you how to be a bachelor of food nutrition..
Money buys you into anything, don't you know that by now? Haha you act like if its in a guide the product is all good, you have a lot to learn in this field. The world of vitamins is corrupt.
You can ask anybody what kind of bullshit comes out of the mouths of people selling Usana. Claiming they can cure high blood pressure, diabetes, allergies and etc. Full of shit, lying to people and get their hopes up to make a sale, what you got to say about that?
I really love these USANA talks now because the Distributors are probably the least educated about their product. The PDR is a merely a publication for listing products. It is published by Thomson Reuters and does not require that products entered be of high quality. The Comparative Guide it is a biased source of information which is hardly professional. Watch the YouTube video Comparative Guide Bad Medicine to learn more. The same poster also has another one exposing other USANA lies.
TheNarutoPianist...I'm glad you have such a good educational background. Could you please give me the name of a specific product that has the same ingredients as USANA in approximately the same quantities for less money. I would like to buy some?
Please ensure that the formula is divided up into more than one pill. As an expert I'm sure you are aware that some vitamins don't last long in your system and need to be taken at intervals.
Wow. Scams artists are supposed to be arrested. There are TRUTHFUL names attributed to this company and its products. True people scamming you would evade the cops and FBI... You can find the official USANA company building in UTAH. Look up the founder and CEO and they could be arrested right then and there. Hmm... WHY aren't they being arrested if this is a so called "SCAM"?
I'm so confident I dare you to just go become investigators and in the end you'll find out USANA is not scamming people.
Ignorant dumbass, LadeeAO. let me guess.. you eat or sell this stuff, so you must be in denial.. its a scam, its been called out as one by the Fraud INSTITUTE, stock plummeted, people got out.. its over buddy.. go find another pyramid scheme, i mean MLM, i mean 'business opportunity', haha.. tool
I'm not with Usana, but I was researching it to see if it was legit. I have to say, you sound like 80 years ago when people were calling Franchise a scam all over the world. Geez, I wonder how Mcdonald is doing now for people who build the business. I can tell you I own a few of those and it makes pretty deep money. I love scamming teenagers to work low wages.
AHaha. There will be a time when MLM might be mainstream and no one cares about your opinion. While you sit and rot in your chair in your 80's the new generation will eventually think it is another way of making money. Everyone will think your just a washed up old geezer, who doesn't know what he is talking about. I also looked into USANA and it isn't my type of business but it can be a possibility in the future. You live on the field and play the game or watch players sitting by the bleachers.
LadeeAO: What about Madoff? Or is the former president of NASDAQ low key enough to "evade the FBI"?? as compared with Myron Wentz, CEO of USANA who has renounced US citizenship and recently DUMPED his USANA shares??
My point is Madoff operated for years and years without being caught! Scammers do survive in high places. It happens. Are you saying we should never examine companies that exist around us? Bigger and longer running pyramid schemes than USANA have been shut down.
Its a Scheme.. a scam.. the stock plummeted once articles and info released to the public stating it was 'network marketing' aka MLM aka a well hidden scheme. The Business grows on making their 'employees' put cash into the company.. laughable, the product comes 2nd, which has been reported as 'overpriced'. Usana has been called out and being reviewed for misleading customers with improper information about their vitamans.. There is a surplus of information regarding this, google 'Usana scam'.
If you took the requirement of having to buy the product every single month out, and let the associates decide for themselves if the product is good enough for them to buy every month, and everyone made the same amount of money or close, then bravo, you've got a great company with a great product and loyal reps.
Unfortunately, if this were the case, where associates could choose, good-bye paychecks.
No single USANA rep will be willing to change the rules and letting reps decide for themselves how much products to buy each month, none.
Usana isn't a pyramid scheme, but it is a ponzi-like scheme. Where the survival of reps' paychecks are dependent on constant recruitment. No one can argue against that.
If the products were as good as they all claim, prove it, ban the monthly requirement. Let the reps decide for themselves how much to order each month.. and no "it's a business expense BS"
Real pyramid schemes are illegal. Believe it or not there are legit MLM companies with consumable products out there that ARE creating residual income. The top rated MLM companies market consumable products. Those people saying it's a scam/scheme need to do their research before making a comment. The founder of the company won the Einstein Award & The CEO of the company was rated one of the top CEOs under 40. USANA hosted a pre-oscar party... See anyone arresting those "pyramid schemers?" ROFL!!
Tell you what - you gotta love this company, thanks for helping me live a nicer life with my family - never needing to hold down a job again! Great feeling. Cheers
You wrote: "if you want residual income sell insurance."
Health insurance or car insurance?
Health insurance, not affordable anymore.
Car insurance, how boring.
What if there is a demand for wellness and people are sick and tired of being sick and tired and they want to invest in scientifically validated nutritional supplements that improve their quality of life and bring their health insurance costs down? That sounds fun to me!
I know Mike personally, he is telling the truth. Everyone who comes on here with the negative outlook on network marketing is ignorant. If you want to succeed in this business or in any you have to work hard at it to get there. Everyone says network marketing, oh its a pyramid scheme! What the hell do you think the corporate world is? Is the CEO not on top of the pyramid structure making more than everyone below him? Why is that type of pyramid ok?
I dont personally know Mike and her girl but I know from a very close friend Tomas that theyre true valuable people without even mention money at all. I greatly admire the Rookie of the year 08 and i wish all the Pro team success in all they do. from your Mexican USANA friend
USANA is a fucking scam. Fuck all USANA employees. What kind of job makes you "put in" in able to work. You have to buy their shit every month. My cousin used to "work for" USANA, he lost so much money and this company is a scam. FUCK YOU USANA. USANA IS A SCAM. PYRAMID SCHEME.
no job makes you "put in" to work, BUT the most successful people in the world INVEST, or "put in" money, like Donald Trump, Warren Buffet, and Bill Gates. And I wouldnt mind buying their "shit" every month because the products are suuuuper good. Also, if it was a scam, howcome there are people making money, and a handful in the million dollar club? Know what you are talking about before you start hating
yeah people invest, but they invest in their own businesses. if you invest in USANA, you just sell their products and will always be under their company. how can you feel like youve truly invested in your business at USANA? I wouldn't. Id rather "invest" in my own business (if ever) and not USANA's. And give me some names please.
Your an uneducated, ignorant, and misinformed individual. Usana has made many people successful, your cousin was a lazy guy/girl who didnt know how to get the ball rolling.
People who are bound to fail are always asking for reinforcement form other failures. If you want to succeed, then you work with people who succeed, because they know exactly how to help you. Furthermore if the successful people are in your upline, then it is in their interest to help you.
Really? How much Wallmart paid you for promoting to your friend a nice pair of pants you bought last week? Did they paid you any money because your friend went yesterday and bought the same pair? USANA works that way. It was just an example.
True, but walmart doesn't market itself as a business opportunity, only to turn around and make you pay thousands of dollars to join their club. And keep stringing you along, saying you will make a profit if you just stay in and keep paying a hundred every month and going to expensive meetings, meanwhile knowing that only a few people are allowed to succeed. USANA works that way too.
True, but Walmart doesn't market itself as a business opportunity, people get laid off all the time and have no control as entrepreneurs because it takes money to make money. Sad, but true. People should know going into MLM that the investment is low compared to buying a franchise that most people who are capable cannot afford. Besides, there is a money back policy.
If you are looking for a business opportunity, look up the top 10 MLM companies and analyze them based on Tim Sales Brilliant Compensation. So, Google "Brilliant Compensation" and then Google, Paul Zane Pilzer - "The Next Trillion" - Economic adviser to the white house for two presidential administrations. I am not with USANA, but it is a legit company.
Lastly, I admit though mlm is the quickest and smartest way to earn money if all you know how to do is talk. Oh yea, what can I say about the "hardest workers" in mlm; those are most likely the money hungry individuals would could care less about others (duke tubtim, aaron dinh) , but not all off them are because I know some kind hearted individuals who made it to the top with an genuine heart and awesome personality. I know this business all too well, USANA in particular.
mlm isn't a illegal business and I know that by first hand. I have friends in it, but its unethical and unmoral to be in the business. You say the corporate world is a pyramid. I KNOW THAT At least in a real job you're paid for what you're worth. What I'm "worth" is determined by our degrees, right. Too bad, thats how the world works. But if you have to stoop down to the mlm business to make yourself a 'stable income' with USANA then have a good time trying to sleep, knowing how the tactics work.
Do you honestly believe a job pays you what you are worth?? If Donald Trump ever got a job, (which he never will) that pays him even $50 an hour, do you think thats what he's worth?? HELLLL NO. A degree from college doesn't determine how much you're worth, because how many people do you know that cheat in school?? And if helping out your friends is unethical, because thats what USANA is all about then im down lol
work? how do you define work in the mlm business? convincing individuals to fork out their hard money by telling them how great an opportunity USANA is. That fact is, there will always be many many other people below the gold director, who HOPE to achieve what your cousin has. However, that will not happen b/c the whole compensation plan is only design to help a few individual in every team to succeed , so they can they others that they can achieve it to when in reality most will not.
Well to say that only a few people succeed in the USANA business is true to a certain extent, but couldn't you say that for anything? Like sports, music, and the corporate world. Isn't it true that there are only a few people making most of the money? And if you knew how the compensation plan worked, you would know that is is designed to help the people that are below you and help them do well. You will never see that in a regular job
What separates Usana from something like sports or music is that the failure is necessary. In order for one person to succeed, several MUST fail, and the money Usana pays it's successful members is accounted for by the money lost by unsuccessful ones.
Another difference is that you are led to believe that you WILL make money at Usana, as long as you stay in the business. This is a statistic that exists because the vast majority fail by "quitting," in other words, by realizing that this program is not worth their time, or is more unethical than they would like.
The end result is a select few profiting off of the failing majority. EXACTLY the same as any other pyramid scam, just buried in a convoluted compensation plan that cryptifies its true nature.
oh yeah...big corporation are somewhat of a pyramid itself but you're paid for what you're worth. Usana..sure you work hard, but you're working hard to give other individuals false hopes of getting rich off of this when in reality most of the downlines will never get to gold dir. and up
Last thing, if they don't make it to Gold director, it's the individuals own responsibility. Take myself for example, the guy in this video did his job in making a plan for my team and I to reach Gold director, he did most of the work even, etc--but I'm not Gold director because I chose not to be one. However, my cousin and friend both hit Gold director the same time I was supposed to. They wanted it more badly than I did, therefore they did the work, and they hit Gold. That goes for EVERYTHING.
So the lingerie dept. at Nordstrom is a pyramid scheme? They work based on commission. There is no "stable income" unless they do the work. The same goes for Usana or for any business. If you sit and do nothing, you won't have a stable income at all. It has nothing to do with being a pyramid scheme. Ask the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission--the people who have authority to shut down pyramid schemes) where Usana stands, then maybe we can hold your word up for something. Have a good one. =)
The SEC investigated Usana in Jan 2008 and concluded it was not a pyramid scheme (as reported in Reuters). I'm not an associate, just pointing out a fact
dtx...its obviously a pyramid scheme..if you need to "trick" or recruit or refer or however you want to call it, then its not a legit way to make money. yes, you can pass your upline but 32 other individuals get ZERO weekly residual. yea, 32 is what you need for Gold right, I know the game. Those 32 people and I can say about only 1 or 2 out of those 32 downlines will rise to gold, which in my opinion will actually show some results for making those "investments".
in a pyramid scheme (aka Job) the top person (aka CEO) makes the most money..
In usana.. the top person doesnt makes the most money.. only the hardest working.. usana members surpass the person that brought them in all the time.. so no buddy.. not a pyramid scheme!
Yeah, it's definitely a pyramid scheme. NOT! In any case, no need to defend a network marketing company (any legitimate network marketing company) to those who bank their hopes on winning the lottery or an inheritance. God forbid that those who are entrepeneurial and motivated have a vehicle to build a financial asset. God forbid, indeed.
As of 2007, USANA and its Associates had donated more than $4 million in cash and products to international relief organization Children's Hunger Fund (CHF).
USANA Founder Dr. Myron Wentz has partnered with the international relief organization Children's Hunger Fund to personally fund the construction of two state-of-the-art medical centers in impoverished areas in Uganda and Cambodia.
Since 2001, USANA and its thousands of independent distributors have donated more than $4 million in cash and products to the international charity Children's Hunger Fund.
USANA expanded its partnership with the renowned Linus Pauling Institute in 2007. USANA will contribute significant research funding as well as collaborate on cutting-edge nutritional research with the institute.
In 2007, six USANA nutritional products were independently tested and found to meet the stringent requirements of Informed-Choice, an organization that works to ensure that athletes and general consumers are fully informed about the supplements they choose to take.
As of 2007, USANA and its Associates had donated more than $4 million in cash and products to international relief organization Children's Hunger Fund (CHF).
USANA chosen as the official health supplement supplier for numerous athletic organizations, including the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, the U.S. and Canadian Speedskating Teams, Cross Country Canada, Biathlon Canada, and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).

Money buys you into anything, don't you know that by now? Haha you act like if its in a guide the product is all good, you have a lot to learn in this field. The world of vitamins is corrupt.
TheNarutoPianist 2 years ago
You can ask anybody what kind of bullshit comes out of the mouths of people selling Usana. Claiming they can cure high blood pressure, diabetes, allergies and etc. Full of shit, lying to people and get their hopes up to make a sale, what you got to say about that?
TheNarutoPianist 2 years ago 2
I really love these USANA talks now because the Distributors are probably the least educated about their product. The PDR is a merely a publication for listing products. It is published by Thomson Reuters and does not require that products entered be of high quality. The Comparative Guide it is a biased source of information which is hardly professional. Watch the YouTube video Comparative Guide Bad Medicine to learn more. The same poster also has another one exposing other USANA lies.
HGMercury8077 2 years ago
TheNarutoPianist...I'm glad you have such a good educational background. Could you please give me the name of a specific product that has the same ingredients as USANA in approximately the same quantities for less money. I would like to buy some?
Please ensure that the formula is divided up into more than one pill. As an expert I'm sure you are aware that some vitamins don't last long in your system and need to be taken at intervals.
Thanks for your help.

UsanaReport 2 years ago
My point is Madoff operated for years and years without being caught! Scammers do survive in high places. It happens. Are you saying we should never examine companies that exist around us? Bigger and longer running pyramid schemes than USANA have been shut down.
UsanaReport 2 years ago
Its a Scheme.. a scam.. the stock plummeted once articles and info released to the public stating it was 'network marketing' aka MLM aka a well hidden scheme. The Business grows on making their 'employees' put cash into the company.. laughable, the product comes 2nd, which has been reported as 'overpriced'. Usana has been called out and being reviewed for misleading customers with improper information about their vitamans.. There is a surplus of information regarding this, google 'Usana scam'.
MacPete187 2 years ago
If you took the requirement of having to buy the product every single month out, and let the associates decide for themselves if the product is good enough for them to buy every month, and everyone made the same amount of money or close, then bravo, you've got a great company with a great product and loyal reps.
Unfortunately, if this were the case, where associates could choose, good-bye paychecks.
tictacskill 3 years ago
No single USANA rep will be willing to change the rules and letting reps decide for themselves how much products to buy each month, none.
Usana isn't a pyramid scheme, but it is a ponzi-like scheme. Where the survival of reps' paychecks are dependent on constant recruitment. No one can argue against that.
If the products were as good as they all claim, prove it, ban the monthly requirement. Let the reps decide for themselves how much to order each month.. and no "it's a business expense BS"
tictacskill 3 years ago
It is a business expense, the IRS recognizes it as "supplies" and a loss for the first three years of your business. That is not BS.
stuntactorsagaftra 2 years ago 2
Real pyramid schemes are illegal. Believe it or not there are legit MLM companies with consumable products out there that ARE creating residual income. The top rated MLM companies market consumable products. Those people saying it's a scam/scheme need to do their research before making a comment. The founder of the company won the Einstein Award & The CEO of the company was rated one of the top CEOs under 40. USANA hosted a pre-oscar party... See anyone arresting those "pyramid schemers?" ROFL!!

People who are bound to fail are always asking for reinforcement form other failures. If you want to succeed, then you work with people who succeed, because they know exactly how to help you. Furthermore if the successful people are in your upline, then it is in their interest to help you.

UsanaReport 3 years ago
Really? How much Wallmart paid you for promoting to your friend a nice pair of pants you bought last week? Did they paid you any money because your friend went yesterday and bought the same pair? USANA works that way. It was just an example.
Mietka5 2 years ago
True, but walmart doesn't market itself as a business opportunity, only to turn around and make you pay thousands of dollars to join their club. And keep stringing you along, saying you will make a profit if you just stay in and keep paying a hundred every month and going to expensive meetings, meanwhile knowing that only a few people are allowed to succeed. USANA works that way too.
UsanaReport 2 years ago
True, but Walmart doesn't market itself as a business opportunity, people get laid off all the time and have no control as entrepreneurs because it takes money to make money. Sad, but true. People should know going into MLM that the investment is low compared to buying a franchise that most people who are capable cannot afford. Besides, there is a money back policy.

So, Google "Brilliant Compensation" and then Google, Paul Zane Pilzer - "The Next Trillion" - Economic adviser to the white house for two presidential administrations. I am not with USANA, but it is a legit company.
stuntactorsagaftra 2 years ago
Lastly, I admit though mlm is the quickest and smartest way to earn money if all you know how to do is talk. Oh yea, what can I say about the "hardest workers" in mlm; those are most likely the money hungry individuals would could care less about others (duke tubtim, aaron dinh) , but not all off them are because I know some kind hearted individuals who made it to the top with an genuine heart and awesome personality. I know this business all too well, USANA in particular.
kmusic 3 years ago
mlm isn't a illegal business and I know that by first hand. I have friends in it, but its unethical and unmoral to be in the business. You say the corporate world is a pyramid. I KNOW THAT At least in a real job you're paid for what you're worth. What I'm "worth" is determined by our degrees, right. Too bad, thats how the world works. But if you have to stoop down to the mlm business to make yourself a 'stable income' with USANA then have a good time trying to sleep, knowing how the tactics work.
kmusic 3 years ago
Do you honestly believe a job pays you what you are worth?? If Donald Trump ever got a job, (which he never will) that pays him even $50 an hour, do you think thats what he's worth?? HELLLL NO. A degree from college doesn't determine how much you're worth, because how many people do you know that cheat in school?? And if helping out your friends is unethical, because thats what USANA is all about then im down lol
Come0utSwnging 3 years ago
What does the topic of a college degree have to do with anything? I never judged people on how much they're worth college degree or not.
Afternoondelite 3 years ago
work? how do you define work in the mlm business? convincing individuals to fork out their hard money by telling them how great an opportunity USANA is. That fact is, there will always be many many other people below the gold director, who HOPE to achieve what your cousin has. However, that will not happen b/c the whole compensation plan is only design to help a few individual in every team to succeed , so they can they others that they can achieve it to when in reality most will not.
kmusic 3 years ago
Well to say that only a few people succeed in the USANA business is true to a certain extent, but couldn't you say that for anything? Like sports, music, and the corporate world. Isn't it true that there are only a few people making most of the money? And if you knew how the compensation plan worked, you would know that is is designed to help the people that are below you and help them do well. You will never see that in a regular job
Come0utSwnging 3 years ago
What separates Usana from something like sports or music is that the failure is necessary. In order for one person to succeed, several MUST fail, and the money Usana pays it's successful members is accounted for by the money lost by unsuccessful ones.
UsanaReport 3 years ago
Another difference is that you are led to believe that you WILL make money at Usana, as long as you stay in the business. This is a statistic that exists because the vast majority fail by "quitting," in other words, by realizing that this program is not worth their time, or is more unethical than they would like.
UsanaReport 3 years ago
The end result is a select few profiting off of the failing majority. EXACTLY the same as any other pyramid scam, just buried in a convoluted compensation plan that cryptifies its true nature.
UsanaReport 3 years ago

alphachampion 3 years ago
oh yeah...big corporation are somewhat of a pyramid itself but you're paid for what you're worth. Usana..sure you work hard, but you're working hard to give other individuals false hopes of getting rich off of this when in reality most of the downlines will never get to gold dir. and up
kmusic 3 years ago
Last thing, if they don't make it to Gold director, it's the individuals own responsibility. Take myself for example, the guy in this video did his job in making a plan for my team and I to reach Gold director, he did most of the work even, etc--but I'm not Gold director because I chose not to be one. However, my cousin and friend both hit Gold director the same time I was supposed to. They wanted it more badly than I did, therefore they did the work, and they hit Gold. That goes for EVERYTHING.
DeborahChris69 3 years ago 2
if there are people who don't get a stable income for what they're doing, then its not a business. It's a pyramid scheme
kmusic 3 years ago
So the lingerie dept. at Nordstrom is a pyramid scheme? They work based on commission. There is no "stable income" unless they do the work. The same goes for Usana or for any business. If you sit and do nothing, you won't have a stable income at all. It has nothing to do with being a pyramid scheme. Ask the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission--the people who have authority to shut down pyramid schemes) where Usana stands, then maybe we can hold your word up for something. Have a good one. =)
DeborahChris69 3 years ago
The SEC investigated Usana in Jan 2008 and concluded it was not a pyramid scheme (as reported in Reuters). I'm not an associate, just pointing out a fact
c11umw 3 years ago
dtx...its obviously a pyramid scheme..if you need to "trick" or recruit or refer or however you want to call it, then its not a legit way to make money. yes, you can pass your upline but 32 other individuals get ZERO weekly residual. yea, 32 is what you need for Gold right, I know the game. Those 32 people and I can say about only 1 or 2 out of those 32 downlines will rise to gold, which in my opinion will actually show some results for making those "investments".
kmusic 3 years ago
If you work it like a business then it'll pay you like a busines. If you work it like a hobb then it'll pay you like a hobby.
Besides, success is a staircase, not an open door (and that applies outside business too)
