This is a great video! I would love to see this in its entirety if it is available. Perhaps any other videos on the live of Bert Kaempfert. Thanks so much for sharing!
Great video showing these great musicians. Manfred Moch's story of leaving Kaempfert is slightly misleading. He did work with Kaempfert again in the mid to late 70s, but only as a trumpet section member, not as soloist. Check out the live video of That Happy Feeling, where Moch is present in the trumpet section.
I think by the studio recording in October 1976 in Hamburg of Safari Swings Again, Manni Moch was also there in trumpet section, but the solos played Ack van Rooyen.
Wonderful historical video of a great orchestra and its leader. Nice to hear such warm comments about him from those who worked with him. Will you do more videos like this?

I just realized that the picture of Moch at the Safari Swings Again session is in this clip at 3:42 - sitting to the left of Fisher.

I love his musical style. I can listen to music and tell you when he is playing. Very distinctive sound. Thanks for the post.

This is the first video in which I've seen Bert Kaempfert speak in English, briefly. Thanks for posting this!

That's right, I've seen a picture of that session, with Tony Fisher, Heinz Habermann, Werner Gutterer and Moch in the trumpet section.

Thank you for the reply. I've seen it too. Manfred Moch sits on the left with beard.
Kind regards and thank you for the upload.
