  • i love that these guys kill it and have there eyes closed while they play most of the time

  • I learned of Consider the Source through a band from Brazil named Diafanes. At Victor Wooten's Bass/Nature Camp last year, I was surprised to meet someone else who had heard of Consider the Source. Now today, I have learned that Consider the Source is doing a show in New York on June 23... with Victor Wooten! This just gives me the bestest of chills, y'all. Oh, and look up Diafanes, as well. I love their music and good, awesome people, too.

  • @TheNeaL777 yeah- I am friends with John and he was so excited about opening for Wooten :D

  • @vineyardedge

If you know him, than you should ask for the name of this song :D

    (it's my favorite by them)

  • @CJessie800 I wrote to John and asked him what the name of this song was and he never answered. Then I got the new cd, and this song is #5 on the cd and there is blank space where the name should be. It has no name!

  • @vineyardedge lol yeah live they do all do some hand gesture together when they announce it lol

  • they have no vocals at all?

  • @LeoOfSilver I have never seen any vocals, but they don't need 'em.

  • @vineyardedge I've heard them use small samples of like darth vador.

  • @m4o4u4s4e41 They use a bunch of cool *sci-fi* samples :D

  • There's a serious amount of talent to be found on this channel ... you were a lucky find!

  • YESSS!!! best bass dance ever at 1:13. they call that the funk frog from florida.

  • Fantastic bass playing. Sounds like a mix of prog rock -- Yes's Squire -- and the Chillis

  • Sounds like elevator music on acid(Fucked Up); I don't care for it at all..SorrY

  • pfffft - the bassist loves Les, that's why he started playing bass. I love both of their cds a TON- they are awesome talented.

  • Val, you have a way of picking them, as usual, very tight and very measured! A+

  • that bassist is insane!!

  • that why I am sharing this with you guys- I was FLOORED.

  • did you get to talk to them when they were done playing?

  • Yes- I talked to John, the bassist for quite a while. I also got to talk to the guitarist for a while. They almost stayed over at my house. That's how they roll right now- they crash on people's floors. They get from gig to gig by selling Tshirts and cds.

  • thats pretty awesome, thanks for putting the annotations in :p

  • Nice.
