@MessyJatador Finally someone open-minded. I can't give you advice because I don't know what kind of sound or music do you like. Try to find something here typing "free vst", Do the same in google. If you find something type it here and check it out. I like zebra personally. It's good for ambient.

hey i have a question hope someone can help me.

im very interested in making music ( all kinds of music ) and i want to try electronic music since i started to like it very much lately :)

i watched a couple tutorials but im not sure if i should buy ableton live or reason...

i like the user-interface of ableton more but im not sure if you have to buy all the filters and stuff that you have in reason.

please help me since its a big investment for a 17 year old :)

@TheApeinaSuite i got reason 5 before ableton and to be honest ableton is way more user friendly reason is more for real professionals and is a lot more complicated in my opinion. ableton comes wit all the filters and stuff but the likes of the plug- inns i.g sylenth you have to get seperate you could prob manage to find the programs for free on line instead of payin for them though ;)

yeah i tried reason on a friends computer before and it just looks so stuffed with all the filters and ableton looks just cleaner and has more character if you know what i mean.

and yeah i would probably buy the programs but do you know any forums where i can ask people with more experience if a plug- inn is worth buying?

@pablo85mac learn chords and how to play a keyboard then you will be able to do it from ear. Always if your not familiar with chords and how to use a midi keyboard I wouldnt be making music
