The timing for the stimulus bill is wrong. The economy is spiraling and cannot support those items in it. That bill was supposed to be for an emergency creation and maintaing of PERMANENT jobs and stimulating the economy. how many people in America are tattoo artists? Not much to stimulate there. Pig odor mgmt. can wait until the economy goes back up. Infrastructure is a temp. job creation, so the bill actually wasted $ and people losing more jobs. Businesses are closing everyday.

The trends that you're talking about were already headed that way before Obama was elected. He has stated that it would take at least a year before the economy showed signs of recovery.
