i am 14 years old and i caught a 24lb, over 3feet long golden pike on my local river 'TEITH' in scotland. <the place a cought it was in callander at 21/09/2007:)

it lasted for 7dinners for a 5 people familly

i have been on the lake several times fishing for pike. i been on the lake at 5/6am till bout 10/11pm at night the only thing that i have seen is my father's personal best which broke scales which went up to 38lb that was in the summer of 1999. lorenzo ventre frm neath.

This is astonishing, after all the legends that have been handed down over the generations, 'Gorsey' is finally acknowledged as real. Well done for bringing this into the public domain. One question though - is 'Gorsey - Male or Female, maybe someone could investigate for us? Freaky, there are rumors of unusually large pike fish here in Saskatchewan at the boundary damn near Estevan....it is warm year round because of the heat from the power plant.

I've also heard of monstrous pike up at Anglin Lake in northern Saskatchewan.
