I was fortunate to see Wynonna in concert about a month after 9/11; her encore consisted of a STUNNING a capella rendition of "How Great Thou Art" (accompanied by her backup singers), and then she ended her show with "Testify to Love"! Believe me, there wasn't a dry eye in the house! BTW, this is MY favorite episode of TBAA also, and I ALWAYS have a box of tissues nearby when I watch it!

No there isn't thats the point. In this episode the mother who wrote the song said that out of all the psalm's she couldn't find even one that explained her happiness as a mother so she named the song the 151 psalm.

my friend was watching this episode at church one day and i had never seen it before so i came in with enough time before the song for her to explain what was wrong with Petey and then we watched the song and even though i didn't see the entire episode i still cried like a baby

I lost my wife in 2003 and then a few years my cousin died. On March 8 of this year my 28 yr old daughter was killed in a car accident.I took it our in anger at everyone.. I sent my wife and step son packing home to Ind..The pain is still great..I lost three people I loved do to death and lost two others I love more than I never knew-My Wife and step-son...So its good to get to deal with your grief and have family support-which I really did not have..This song says so much to me..Tim Corl

Glad to see I am not the only softy. I was 34 years old, in the Navy and a "tough" Navy diver...I cried like a school girl at the end of this one. Here it is 10 years later, I stumble across this snippet of the show and before 30 seconds of playing goes by I have silent tears coursing down my cheeks. This was, IMHO, the best Angel episode of all, and there a lot of good ones.
i first saw this episode i think when i was about 9 or 10. i forgot all about it until about 7 months ago. when i saw it again i couldn't stop crying. my mom always (sarcastically) gets angry when i watch this show because it makes her cry too.

That's the point, his Mom made up psalm 151 to thank God for her son, however, when she found out he was dieing, she couldn't finish it, until the angels came and helped Petey feel no more pain and make peace...

my friend was watching this episode at church one day and i had never seen it before so i came in with enough time before the song for her to explain what was wrong with Petey and then we watched the song and even though i didn't see the entire episode i still cried like a baby

Every time I watch this clip, I start to cry. It means so more to me that just an episode of a serie.

I absolutely love TBAA. I so wish programs were still on that were as poignant as this.
Like many folks here, I stumbled upon this episode after not seeing it for a long time. I cried. In fact, I've played this 6 times, and I have cried every time. I hope I never find myself unable to cry.
As for the production and acting in this, fabulous! The details, the music, the portrayals, and especially the messages. Spot on. God Bless all.

I lost my wife in 2003 and then a few years my cousin died. On March 8 of this year my 28 yr old daughter was killed in a car accident.I took it our in anger at everyone.. I sent my wife and step son packing home to Ind..The pain is still great..I lost three people I loved do to death and lost two others I love more than I never knew-My Wife and step-son...So its good to get to deal with your grief and have family support-which I really did not have..This song says so much to me..Tim Corl

my dad passed away last july 12 and up to now, the pain is beyond description. i feel through the song...it is hard to praise God during the time of grief..i just hope that i could be like this mother, singing through her pain...

Glad to see I am not the only softy. I was 34 years old, in the Navy and a "tough" Navy diver...I cried like a school girl at the end of this one. Here it is 10 years later, I stumble across this snippet of the show and before 30 seconds of playing goes by I have silent tears coursing down my cheeks. This was, IMHO, the best Angel episode of all, and there a lot of good ones.

i first saw this episode i think when i was about 9 or 10. i forgot all about it until about 7 months ago. when i saw it again i couldn't stop crying. my mom always (sarcastically) gets angry when i watch this show because it makes her cry too.
