please tell me this is better than with out the ported barrels.... is this a good gun to buy? i shot the 45 (hard to control) and 9mm (too weak) so im going with the 40 s&w... how is the fast fire on that? someone reply. ( =

The higher than normal flash is expected on this pistol.
The Glock 23C has recoil compensator ports on the top forward part of the muzzle and slide.

I have a Glock 23C as well though and mine doesnt had that large muzzle flash.

The ammo used could be +P or +P+.
And, it's also conceivable that the camera could be seeing extra things that normal eyes can't, such as any strong IR emissions.
