This game is above awesome, one of the first games I ever played and one of my most tresured parts of my childhood (Along with Worms on the PS1, Pokémon Blue and Super Mario 64 (The one with the castle))

Oh, that has to do with the speed of the frames and the sound. Some games run at 60 fps but donkey kong runs at 50 fps. But project 64 makes dk64 run 60 fps so it's faster. So if you have that problem just click sync to audio. This also works when you hear bad clicking sound during a game.

Not correct.

when the audio is not synced, the audio is outputted as it is supplied resulting in the crackling noises occasionally as the emulator core fluctuates in speed. this doesn't stop the actual game though.

synced eliminates the syncing issues for some games but whenever the game and the audio are out of sync it pauses the whole game until they are.

in my video I used a beta build of 1.7 and a combination of 3rd party plugins to achieve a working intro with this game without using the sync game to audio option.

Get Project 64 and search for Donkey Kong Rapidshare. The game however is out of sync which is what I hate about this.

1.6 has been out for years publicly, use that.

The main problem is the intro will not sync in 1.6 with default plugins but otherwise it runs great.

Yeah, but the ESRB has a problem with releasing games that might upset religions (the rap changed hell to heck in the Smash Bros. games, Zelda has supposed Muslim chanting and it was changed in the GCN version, etc.). Some things escape them, some things don't.
