  • awesome wrestling way better than wcw bring back the nwa

  • Senior Producer: Virgil Runnels. How long was Dusty producing this show?

  • I was about 5yrs old when this aired on WVEC 13 in VA. My Dad recorded this show for me on a Beta VCR! The bunkhouse @ the end was a shocker because I always heard of 'em but I knew they were gonna cut it short! I thought my old video had surfaced, but I remember a WVEC 13 logo flash @ the bottom. Regular tv not on cable!

  • @zoeycrax luckily I was at this show at the greensboro coliseum this was my first tv taping I attended Dusty won.

  • today they call it HARDCORE then it was just arestling

  • LMAO @ 2:09!!!! If that ain't vintage 1985 I don't know what is!!!!!

  • Love it! This is when wrestling was WRASSLIN!!!!!

  • awesome piece of wrestling history-pro wrestling has lost the magic!

  • All this violence for a .... boot! haha love classic NWA.

  • I remember this. The NWA back in the day had all the gimmick matches that the WWF later stole. Most of the ideas that Vince Mcmahon came up with started in the NWA.

  • I was about 7yrs old when this went down and I swore to God somebody was gonna get killed!! Ahh the good ole days of "Wrasling".

  • @Wisebrother78 i was 7 also livin in chicago wrer rasslin was huge

  • I was a youngster when this happened, and it was before the Royal Rumble. It didn't catch on like the Rumble, but as a kid I thought this was the shit.

  • Glory days. Love crockett and schiovonne they were like madden and summerall of wrestling

  • @jen2troy Crockett sucked big time, worse than Michael Cole! Schiavone, Caudle and Ross were, in my opinion, the best in JCP

  • @SDBugg I didn't mind him. He could be irritating sometimes. Always like Schiavone. Think he gets a bad rap because of the whole Mick Foley thing. Caudle was great. They always had very good announcing.

  • This brings back great memories of when wrestling was great

  • The reason 80s Tv always cut the ends of matches off or just showed clips is because they were selling tickets to live shows and only give you a taste of top stars against each other, it worked for the time.

  • @Str8209: That's the match that I associate all my old "world wide wrestling" frustration with! To this day I'd love to see that match!

  • Great match, thanks for sharing. I still think Magnum should have won the match since they needed to push him, Looks like Dusty decided to give himself the victory again.

  • Virgil Runnels was the best!!!

  • this is true wrestling..... fuck sports entertainment aka wwe

  • Every week they ended the main event before it was over. Every week they said they would show us what happened next week. Every week they never showed or told us what happened. Every week I would get mad as hell and swear I'll never watch World Wide Wrestling again! I watched every week until the end....

  • @Silvermountainman420 Very true i remember one time they hyped the main event a 6 man tag team title match between dusty rhodes and the road warriors vs. the powers of pain and nikita koloff..and we saw all of 3 minutes of it..what a pain in the ass that was

  • in the credits senior producer virgil runnels= dusty rhodes

  • THIS IS BETTER THAN THAT WWE CRAP

  • @beastking55 You are so right. The current WWE product can't touch this!!

  • @beastking55 I agree! Even the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin wasn't enough to rekindle my interest!

  • yup it was on ch 54 every sat and sunday at noon, it used to be 1pm in the mid to late 80's i have alot of this on tape!

  • channel 45 at 1pm in Baltimore every sunday.....this came on right at the end...

    great memories....

  • OH YEAH!!!!! BUT IT WAS ON CHANNEL 54

  • it was WBFF TV 45!!!!!!! i'm pretty sure on this one...

  • WWE Came on WBFF At 4:00pm on Sat,That I am Very sure of, NWA Came on WNUV at 1:00pm on Sun

  • i'm talking 1984-1987...we got Mid-Atlantic on saturdays...weekends was the shit in b'more when it came to wrestling!! UWF power hour used to come on like 12:30 am on channel 5...saturday nites

  • @T74G

    channel 5 out of DC...

  • @Airsoftcleaner

i checked with my auntee, and brother, they both confirm, my auntsa a big wrestling fan!! you were correct...54 it is!! loved wrestling in Baltimore in the 80's...

  • @T74G NWA always came on 54, WWF & UWF came on 45

  • @ahumblestudent

power hour did come on 45...true i watched after school often...

saturdays was WWF, if you had cable you watched Titans on thursday

    what side you from???

  • @T74G Maan, I wish I had cable back then. I was raised over East but now reside over West/

  • @T74G

eastside right here....and my aunt had cable, we had to walk to Fenwick ave from Patterson to go watch it!!

  • I remeber watching this on channel 17 at 2pm also. Such a random time for wrestling, but perfect since I was 8 years. old. I could have sworn Ben Alexander won this Bunkhouse Stampede.

  • Classic stuff. NWA World Wide Wrestling used to come on at 2pm on channel 17 here in the Philly market and I would look so forward to it. It was the polar opposite of the WWF's cartoonish programming at that time.

  • one of two matches I would love to see return... The Bunkhouse Stampedes and Wouldnt Survivoir Series be sweet fought under WAR GAMES rules... it fits like Peas and Carrots... lol

  • ahh the ol powder in the face.....lol the winner gets a boot..hell yeah !

  • Today's wrestling can't touch the old school!!

  • now this is classic wrestling in it's extreme. also, that boot for the winner is kinda funny but cool.

  • how come flair was never in a bunk house stampede

  • Because Ric Flair was the World's champ. The main champ(s) hasn't wrestled in a Royal Rumble in nearly 20 years now.

  • i like how apparently everybody needed to wear jeans n sweatshirts n shit

  • LOL!

  • I hated how they would cut matches at the very end of the show. Drove me nuts!

  • dusty rhodes, who won every single stampede

  • Well he was the Senior Producer!

  • he is lucky it isn't real
