It's Sunday Morning, and a politician is heading to the studio after getting blitzed at a rager at Scalia's house. But in his hangover stupor, he forgets that he's facing Tim Russert, who's running on two Red Bulls and has an assload of documents to help fact-check. The politician sits down, this music plays, and he knows he's screwed BIG TIME.
I've always been curious as to why NBC uses the same piece of music as both a regular show theme (MTP), but also when they interrupt programming for a Special Report. Don't get me wrong, this is a fantastic piece of music. But you'd think they would find or commission some variation of the overall theme to use exclusively for Special Reports.
@acg1112 Yes I know that, thats why I made that point lol. John Williams and Star Wars is one and the same. To have Star Wars...you have to have John Williams, without him...those films would be pretty tame lol.
I've been searching for this one for a while and could never seem to find it here. Thanks for posting it. John Williams is a God when it comes to composing themes. This music give me shivers up the spine because of not only its seriousness, but because it also has a sweeping melody.
sounds like a final fantasy opening

David is Thursday afternoon on the Rose Garden, peppering the President with tough questions.
