Ever since he started playing in the league, Zo's been one of my favorite players. He brings so much passion to the game and he is truly a very gifted player. He's also a great example for all those young cats out there, how the act like a man off the court.
one of the most dominant centers of our time..... amazing player on both ends....... shame he got hurt (grant hill and penny hardaway as well, 3 certain hall of famers and alltime greats if not for injury...... i wish c-webb never got hurt too, he was one of the best pf's ever at his peak)........... but alonzo was truly very very very great center.
by the way I REMEMBER THAT GAMEWINNER VS MY CELTICS LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY AND IT RUINED MCHALE'S BIG GAME..... I HATED THAT......... NOT AS MUCH AS I HATED WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BOY REGGIE LEWIS THOUGH, DROPPED 17 POINTS IN THE FIRST 10+ MINUTES AND THEN COLLAPSED AND NEVER PLAYED AGAIN FOR THE CELTICS, DIED TOO YOUNG MAN........ TERRIBLE SERIES...... GAMEWINNER BROUGHT UP MANY MEMORIES....... Alonzo was a GREAT center though.
