  • i love how they put "by an israeli" in the title to make jews seem better than other people

  • @bboynaki I know, right? It's not like the pilot was even from Israel or anything.

    Oh, wait.

  • Israel has the best air force and military tech in the world. Just be glad there friends with us here in America or we would be toast. Thank you Gad!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @xFiredrake97x Best Air Force, yes. Best military tech, no. US has the best military tech in the world and that is essentially a fact. That is the reason why we are in a recession. Our government spends too much time in military tech.

  • @xFiredrake97x Ummmm NO. Israel has what they have BECAUSE of US. Thanks for commenting tho, tool.

  • @mhodzic7 Yet they have the most skilled air force, more than half of the air kills of the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the F-15 Eagle come from IDF Forces......

  • @mhodzic7 And their ground forces can easily take on most armies of the world, they have been kicking asses since '48, from the first day Israel was declared a state.

  • As far as I know, it was "Nivi Zedivi"

  • Thats why you should BUY AMERICAN

  • Pilot was probably thinking if he bailed, the plane would come out of his pay...LOL :)

  • @fidesetratio77 caind of becous is promotion could be stoped

  • I miss this show on the History Channel. Bring back Heavy Metal instead of crap like MonsterQuest.

  • Фантастика! Отличный самолёт и отличный пилот.

  • F-15's have tailhooks foe emergency landings on runways only. Landing gear isn't built strong enough to land on aircraft carriers.

  • @brellnob Right because in the US the F-15 is an airforce plane unlike the F-14

  • I didn't htink the F-15 had a tail hook? its not a carrier jet.

@gtamodman122 he was able to fly it because the f-15 is a wide bodied aircraft, even says it in the video.

  • @TomPetersonXc Combat aircrafts have tailhooks which connect to a cable when landing in order to slow down the jet, enabling it to land on shorter runways, usually at sea aboard a carrier, but also during emergency landings.

  • @JonaGN I know that Navy planes have tail hooks. I just didn't know the F-15 had one. Guess I never looked for the tail hook on the F-15.

  • bth how many types of planes can a pilot fly?

  • Any Help will be appreciated...Thanx from 日本

  • Any info on when it was aired, in which tv show it was first brodcasted? I know it was on The Hitler (Former History) Channel, They had a dogfight series from there maybe?

  • what show is this?

  • Flying like a boss

  • reminds me when two Egyptian Mig-21s fought off 6 Izzy Phantoms. the Phantoms carried the izzy home, but the Migs soon ran out of fuel, the pilots decided they would save the aircrafts, the attempted landing with no fuel with no usual control over their planes. One crash landed, the other landed successfully, his name is El-Mansoury

  • 240 p we meed another time...

    btw wow great pilot

  • how the hell did he make it?

  • Good plane! Good pilot.

    God bless USA & Israel!

  • @leibmark Fuck both of them.

  • @Badhabitsjay иди на хуй!

  • Got that rite I love isreal

  • yes 22 Jew haters GOD Bless Iseral

  • yup 22 asshole hate the viedo, must be Muslums

  • True

  • God carried that pilot home. Period.

  • The Americans say, "We always enjoy plying with Pakistanis and Israelis"

  • Then where did the broken off wing land?!? O_O

  • even with all this, i still find it hard to believe. even if it was possible to land, he would know he was missing a wing, the huge difference in lift would cause a roll (which he said he had), drag on one side would cause massive yaw. to fly level, he'd have to hard rudder and match lift on both wings (aka no lift on either wing). I'm surprised that the hydrolics could take that hit and keep working.

and with all that, the aproach would have been so skewed... i just cant imagine it.

  • @isays He said that after a while, the roll caused by the colision stopped. So something must have balanced the aircraft. Probably the right intake (the F-15 one's are huge), I don't know. Maybe he felt that yaw effect and compensated it by decreasing the power on the left engine and increasing on the right. The roll effect, as he said, somehow managed to stop by its own. But yes, the landing must have been quite a ride, since messing with the roll axis would compromise the general stability.

  • @intruderalert01 the intakes are the same on both sides. the additional drag on one side would have caused intense yaw.

beyond that, there would be a huge asymmetrical lift... in order to balance it you'd have to roll your good wing down, which would greatly reduce your lift. to counter that you'd have to nose up like crazy.

he'd be coming into landing with the nose way up, rudder hard to the side and pushing the good wing down to balance the lift. the approach must have been insane.

  • @isays Yes, I'm quite aware of the fact that the intakes are the same on both sides. But he landed the aircraft successfully, so I don't think that he approached with the nose "way up". In the video he says that he landed the aircraft at roughly 250-260 knots (twice the normal landing speed). Therefore, lift was not a problem. You can also see in the HUD that his AoA is not high. However, you can actually see the unbalanced yaw and yaw axis acting, so yes, the landing was insane.

  • @intruderalert01 i wasn't there, so i dont know what happened for sure. its just surprising that with all that, the aircraft could still be landed just by correcting yaw and increasing speed. from what i've read, if he lost a wing, the rudder and stabilizer on the same side would have become non-functional as well because the hydraulics for that side, and the utility hydraulics would be lost.

history channel isn't known for good research, i'd call this a big hoax but nobody has refuted it yet...

  • @isays I don't know too if this is a hoax or not. It also seems impossible to land with just one wing, due to all the facts you (correctly) described. But the foto clearly shows a one-winged landed F-15. I don't suppose they destroyed the wing of a 30 million dollar aircraft just to glorify the efforts of a pilot... I wasn't there either, so I have no clue of what really happened too.

  • @intruderalert01 It doesn't help that all the sources i find on the subject trace back to the history channel :p

I didn't go looking very hard, though.

it could be that the damage was less significant, and the photo was from after repairs to the wing and hydraulics were under way...

the least believable part, to me, was that the pilot seemed to suggest that it was hardly different from a normal landing. but like i said... how could you keep this a secret if it really was a hoax?

  • @isays Hardly different? Yes, that indeed is weird... I fully understand your doubts, because they are mine too... Looking at the pictures, you can see that the whole right wing was thorn apart by the supposed collision. How was he able to void the physical forces that were acting on that side? Even compensating with the rudder, roll and engines, it still sounds a lot difficult. I also can't find any other source that doesn't has this video as a reference. I guess we'll never know.

  • @intruderalert01 Well, you can try this:

    Try: sky-high.co.il/134771/תאונת-בז-957--מרקיע-שחקים-

(Hebrew. Google Translate does an miserable job, but you can see there's a book reference at the start). Legend has it the pilot was demoted one rank for disobeying an order to eject, and then was promoted a rank for saving the plane...

  • @cesium0133 Back to the same situation then. Overall, I guess he did managed to save his plane. We all know that the Israeli Air Force Academy is one of the best (if not the best) pilot school on the planet. I wouldn't be surprised if that son of a bitch did managed to land that plane safely. Those israelis must recruit pilots from hell, cause they sure are good. About the whole situation, the Israeli government must have kept the details in secret, so our only choice is to speculate.

  • great pilot!

  • Dear lord... Do you really expect me to believe that a 25 year old guy is an F-16 Instructor, who trains "jews", "austrialians" (whatever that is), brits and germans? Give me a brake...

  • @intruderalert01 dude, a frickin 28 year old conquered everything from egypt to india. you saying a 26 year old can teach people to fly a plane?

  • @intruderalert01 dude, a frickin 28 year old conquered everything from egypt to india. you saying a 26 year old can teach people to fly a plane? also, australia is south of thaland, north of antarctic. look at a map of the eastern heimisphere somtime, youll notice it.

  • @intruderalert01

You need to go back to school to learn not only Geography, but basic English as well. I'm also going to take from your comment that you are pretty racist too by your comment about training "Jews", and then not even knowing where or what Australia is? Give ME a break!

  • @rightisray Are you stupid or you're just pretending to be one? I didn't said that. I know where Australia is (probably better than you do) and I'm no such thing as a racist. I have jewish acenstry, so that pretty much narrows it down. By the way, baselhana said it. Check the comments.

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome plane, awesome pilot.

  • First off intruderalert01 your not my pal, second I "saw" that where I am stationed I am a f-16 instructor at Luke AFB Phoenix Arizona. I've trained Jews, Germans, British and austrialians

  • Weird? And why is that weird?

  • @intruderalert01 because u're insulting and complimenting at the same time ...

  • @shadowfaithx Insulting? Me? You must have misunderstood the text. I'm expressing facts, and counter-arguing someone who, in my belief, made a mistake.

  • @intruderalert01 whatever , as long as WE love it

  • @shadowfaithx As long as you love what? Sorry for my questions, but your answers are a bit subjective.

  • @intruderalert01 as long as all of those who watch this video love this video and the pilot skills ...

  • *once had (third line from the bottom, 2nd text)

  • great aircraft with high skill pilot .... amazing indeed, no wonder why israeli pilot is one of the best pilot in world ...

  • Sorry for some errors.

"Freedom of speech", "posting" (cut saying).

  • Nothing to do with how fast and agile the aircraft. Pilots with superb tactics and training will prevail.

  • Why would he be firing a missile in a simulated exercise? They using duds or something?

  • 'Israeli pilots are the best in the world" That statements reads pretty selfish. Don't you think? Hogging all the Best for those Israelis. Sucks, Israel gets away with unfairly-being the only one ALLOWED to obtain F-15's. It plays the victim to well. Anyway, that good pilot knows who the best, in the air, was that day. The mu tha fuckin F-15. Made in the U.S.A.

  • @cris15ization Do you read your comments before you post? Selfishness has nothing to do with appreciating the pilots of another country. "Self" means I, not them. Recognizing piloting ability over technical superiority shows humanism - not selfishness. You're right in one respect - the fact that the F15 is still flying forty years after its development is a testament to its durability.

  • @cris15ization See? "Motherfucking F-15. Made in U.S.A.... And you still say that I'm being selfish? I bet that if that was an American pilot, you wouldn't be talking that way. Why do people like you tend to look for something american in these videos and post comments like "Fuck the pilot! The aircraft is American!"? This, buddy, is being selfish. I stated an opinion, and 13 people agree. You just have to respect our freedom os speech, instead of saying posting irracional comments.

  • Hey, Intruderalert000001. You mean the F-15 is fine jet. 1st of all the pilot was ready to eject, he tried a trained maneuver and realized the jet was still air worthy. The F-15 and any jet of it's caliber can almost fly themselves. The jet did not create the situation, the pilots did and F-15 allowed for the correction. For your last comment any pilot paired with a F-15 fighter jet knows the jet will alow him to perform, most would have ejected, just like he thought to at first.

    '.......

    '

  • lol, solo wing pixy irl

  • Then why not sell an F-15 with no wing? That would cut the cost lower, right? Our poor allies can finally afford it.

  • @ChuckManiac no wings is ok, but requires double the landing speed

  • Wheres the full episode?

  • Afterburners while leaking fuel. I don't know but this sounds crazy!

And why risk the navigator life by attempting a landing? How could he possibly have known the plane structure could endure flying and landing after so much stress with that mid air collision?

  • @smokings6x aviation fuel is actually kerosene and is hard to ignite.

  • @disturbed1199 That's right. But kerosine is like less refined diesel. If you put kerosine in a normel diesel engine, it runs perfect BUT loses about 15% of its output.

The Nato uses a diesel/kerosine mixture in their ground vehicles. more cost efficient.

  • @disturbed1199 Aviation fuel doesn't ignite easily, eh?

Okay. You just stand in that puddle of aviation fuel, and I'll chuck this lighter at y...

    BOOM!

Then again, different types of aircraft fuel ignite with different levels of ease, but aviation fuel (in all it's forms (Jet A-1, JP4, AVGAS, etc.)) is still very flammable. It's more flammable than the gasoline you put in your car, for example.

  • @TsugaruPilot jet fuel won't ignite below 45°C...

  • Isn't it kinda funny that he speaks English without almost no accent?

  • Real-life Solo Wing Pixy. :D

  • @gmdimaano

    Him?Yeah,I know him :]

  • here they come.. the colonials.

  • What a load of crap

I can't belive some people believe this rubbish

  • Those Palestinian savages are trying to beat... THAT?

  • Actually if is quite believable that it would fly. The shape of a fuselage is wide and somewhat configured as the old "lifting bodies" were shaped. So the fuselage would be providing lift (given a sufficient speed is reached) and in fact the size of the F15 would indicate that as much as 30% of its lift could be provided by the fuselage. Good engineering.

  • amazing! with enough power, you don't need wings.

  • could only be a israeli pilot

  • That guy is ledgend in the IAF, I'm sure. Revered where ever he goes. Lots of handshakes and drinks bought for him. One amazing piece of flying. Respect.

  • good jet , badass pilot! go israel!

  • american aircrafts have a high reliability rate, that's true.. but can't you see that when you post that comments saying things like:"yeah, american jets are the best!!", you are taking the merit out of that pilot? that's a very selfish attitude..i believe that the pilot has a high influence in a flight. if it was a pilot with lower skills flying that aircraft, i would bet that that F-15 would be down in a minute...

  • How true!

Even how good the plane is, without a proper pilot it will still crash!

  • like when Finnish biplanes took out Russian monoplanes

  • @intruderalert01 well said! Although the Eurofighter is the best we all know that... lol joking

  • @hawkmoth11 Haha.. The Eurofighter is an excellent aircraft. I would be happy if Portugal had one xD

  • @intruderalert01 I agree about the great comments about the pilot. But, I would have to disagree about the F-15. See youtube.com/watch?v=LveSc8Lp0ZE

  • @dwhitely First of all, thank you. About the F-15, note that I'm not saying that it's not a great fighter, because it is. And yes, american technology is excellent. I'm just criticizing some attitudes here. By the way, thank you for your comment. It's a relief to find people here with any sense of "freedom of speech".

  • @intruderalert01 this is a wierd compliment u giving ....

  • @intruderalert01 its both. most planes couldnt do that, but niether could most piolets. hell, this guy sad if he knew it had lost the wing he'd have bailed. (there was fuel all over that side of the cockpit)

  • Israelis are the best pilots in the world..

  • A better pilot wouldn't have had a midair. ;)

Good piece of flying, though--I'm not arguing that!

  • @intruderalert01 just fuck off! you little kiddy

  • @intruderalert01 and still they collided? lol :)

  • @zogz91 haha a very wise reply, indeed. Thats a good observation, but it was a crash, it happens sometimes. No one can deny that landing an F-15 with a wing partially destroyed is quite a challenge. It's like when an USAF F-15 shot down a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter in Afghanistan, with 12 soldiers in it. The IFF and comms failed, and bam. Friendly fire. Its a one time flaw. It doesn't mean that they're worse than other pilots.

  • @intruderalert01 never said they was worse just found his comment funny :) stumpeld over this vid dont know much about this shit, but yea it was quite cool :)

  • @zogz91 lol nice comment though :)

  • @intruderalert01 true even best than america.. allthough america jsut have the best planes in the world

  • @intruderalert01 - Israeli pilots are very good, that's true. But can't you see that when you post comments saying things like: "yeah, Israeli pilots are the best!", you are taking the merit out of the other pilots in the world? That's a very selfish attitude. I believe other pilots have a lot of skill in flight, and if it was a pilot from another country I bet that the other pilot would be just as good.

    See what I did there?

    Hypocrite much?

  • @archona4 No but statistically they are the best or at least one of the best air forces in the world the Israelis, they have accounted for the most Air to air victories of any other air force and since its foundation has been in almost constant battle and often found themselves outnumbered, like in the Six day war and yom kippur war, and they also took the first kills for the F-15, also the first to attack a nuclear power plant ever. amazing makes me proud to have Israeli lineage

  • @archona4 I regret to say that that's not a valid argument. I posted that because what I said was based on a fact. Israeli pilots are the best in the world, and no one can deny it, because it's what I said it is: A fact. And, as you surel know, facts cannot be countered. See what Elfulcrum777 said. That pretty much narrows it down.

American people are very patriotic. I understand that attitude, of praising the fact that the aircraft is a fine piece of engineering. (continues on next post)

  • And it is. But from doing this, to comment a video where they are talking about a Israeli pilot's experience, with comments like "America rules". Give me a break... Thats the problem with you, americans. Just because you have the finest aircraft on the globe (and you do), it doesn't mean that you have the finest pilots. Portuguese were the inventors of naval tactics. Tactics that still apply in modern navy warfare. We one had the most powerful navy in the world. (continues on next post)

  • And it is. But from doing this, to comment a video where they are talking about a Israeli pilot's experience, with comments like "America rules". Give me a break... • But now we have a navy that is nothing more than a buch of boats armed with a few cannons... Maybe one you had the best pilots, but face it, now you don't. Just because you have the best machines, it doesn't mean that you have the best to man it. Note that I'm not saying that US pilots are a bunch of crap. It's just the Israeli are better. Sorry man... Facts, are facts.

  • @intruderalert01 Because they are American trained

  • @baselhana Israeli pilots are american trained? And where did you saw that? Please, give me something that sustains your point. I'm sorry to disapoint you pal, but they're trained by Israeli ex-pilots and IAF tacticians. The only American things in a Israeli Air Force Base are IAF aircrafts (US built).

  • @intruderalert01 First off retard before you try and argue begin by using proper grammar. With that said your uneducated dip shit ass deserves nothing more than a slap from my dick. Second we are not "pals" your an idiot. Who taught the Israeli's to fly an american made? Let me guess God? Drop dead faggot!

  • Comment removed

  • @baselhana OK, so you're having a nervous breakdown. The americans taught them how to fly the aircrafts, but the Israeli pilots developed their own air tactics, so your statement is stupid, just like you. About that part where you talk about your dick... Please, blow your brains out. You are an ignorant piece of shit. A disgrace to mankind. I'm not a native english speaker, but I write it better then you do. You should write "You're and idiot", not "your". What a dumbass. YOU'RE RIDICULOUS.

  • @intruderalert01 How so "you are uneducated dip shit ass?" That makes no sense... except to maybe a mexican or nigger. You should stay in whatever pathetic country you're in because it's evident you don't understand english. You wish I'd off myself but maybe you should because you get slapped with dicks! I also slapped your mom with me dick and she loved it!

  • @baselhana OK american redneck fagget, I'm going to tell you the truth. You're my son, and you shouldn't talk that way to your father. I banged every single girl your family has: Your mother, your sister, your aunt, your granny and so on. Every damn member of you pathetic family has my sperm on her dirty cunt. And you will have it in your mouth if you don't shut the fuck up. Percebeste oh seu monte de merda filho da puta? Comi a tua familía toda! How about that?! Ridiculous scum! HAHAHA

  • the f-15 with 2 afterburners is one of the fastest airplanes in the world and he is very strong builded for a f-15.Very nice that the pilot can handle the f-15 almost a crash lucky not a crash excellent handling for a f-15 pilot flying on one wing Piet #1.

  • @intruderalert01 Yeah, they're fucking insane.

  • I'm no pilot, but increasing your throttle in that case kind of does sound like it would make sense to do.

  • The biggest problem was not to stabilize the air craft but to bring it to land safely. When a pilot has one wing missing, he should have superior skills to be able to manoeuvre it to landing.

  • The F-15 .

    MADE IN THE USA !

  • ...i salute to the men within that aircraft!

  • @skipperONcamera so am i, i salute to the israeli pilot who landed a plane just with one wings. its unusual in real life

  • now thats wut im talking about!!! f15 for life!!!! cheers!!!! and yes to much of the extent i agree with brianrox1

  • this is proof that the US make the best fighter jets(tough and reliable) if it was from a different jet producing country it probably would have fell out of the sky

  • The point is :

You may have one of the best jet fighter of all time ,if you don't have a damn good pilot , in this incident u are dead

  • Look Mig 25 and F15 from the front and you'll see almost the same aircraft.

  • very well done, gg

  • Hell, yeah!!! The only way to win a fight when someone picks one with you is to hit them harder than they could have ever imagined...they hit you with a rock, you hit them back with a sledge hammer!

  • If I remember correctly, it is Israel taking land from Palestine, so I'm not sure who picked the fight...

  • that country you call pelestine.

    in which year was created?

    what eonomis sistem used?

    which was his capital?

    who was his first leader?

    which political sistem used?

    ....

    i think no......

  • Maybe if the Palestinians acted like civilized human beings they would have friends too

  • Civilized like Israel? Hello pot, you've met kettle even if you don't know it.

  • Why do you answer my comment but ignore the valid questions of 994TCV?

  • They lived there before the UN dictated the land be given to the Jewish survivors of WWII. You and 994TCV's argument seems like Eddie Izzard's joke about having flags. If you don't have a flag you're not a real country.

And that justifies the things done to them how?

You happy mouse? I didn't respond to them earlier because it was an inane question and if you couldn't see that you need to get your head out of your asshole.

  • You can insult me all you want. You are only proving my point. You say that Palestine had land taken from them. But you won't say where that land was, What was it's capital, Leader, or economic or political systems. These are reasonable, not inane questions.

  • The premise is inane because none of those questions have any bearing on the suffering of the innocents in that region. And if you truly believe that each human has the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and property, then you must defend the innocent Palestinians.

  • Dude the most important parts of the F15 are copied from Mig 25.And Mig 25 was revolutionary aircraft for its time. The place where the air is entering in the aircraft is copied from Mig 25 and this place increases the aerodynamics.

  • not exactly, they entered service at almost the same time and the F 15's original purpose was as a land version of the F14 before anyone had even heard of the mig 25

  • HAHAHA! Awesome plane!!!!!!!

  • the mig 25 was not the parent of the f 15 the f 15 was on the drawing board before the mig 25 was in service but not seriously concidered until after the 25 was really in our hands plus the mig is a horrible aircraft

  • the eagle has done the impossible... damn what a great aircraft!

  • just goes to show when its not your time its not your time what an awsome pilot

  • lets for a change .....make Israeli pay for it's own wars....the whole middle east is sooooo wrapped up in it's ''Holy War[s]'' lets get out !

  • F-15's Rock!

  • thats a good ass pilot

  • lol there you have it the backround story for Ace combat zero solo wing pixy
