  • Looking for an incredible remix of this treasure, anyone know about it? Heard it on v103 in chicago.

  • One of THE best songs ever recorded. Heard an incredible remix on v103 in chicago. Have been trying to find it all over. Lots of horns, incredible.

  • A lot of good soul archives seem to come from Japan. Same for some ABBA. Japanese and Koreans have pop and soul just swimming around on TV orm something.

Now, why be set just to watch stuff that will likely split in the near future when there's probably a DVD set of the PBS recently aired Great Perfomances documentary about STAX available through the PBS site and WATTSTAX may be available as well (Atlantic bought the archives IIRC, Columbia may have the film or maybe Warners now).

  • one of the great title sequences ever!

  • fuckin' cool!

  • one of the great soul movies & one of the premiere soul bands and there signature tune!!
