I am a twilight geek but VD is way better, just has more of a story line and 2 amazingly hot vampires and the whole cast is great for all ages to look up to. I like how it is more realistic, more creative. My Teacher who is 39 40 what ever is hooked, she is watching it from netflix, she stayed up 6 hours watching last night to watch one of my favs season 2 ep 8, the end! <3 you ian/damon....damon more..he is a the bad boy, i love that!!! she makes him good.

FYI vampire diaries was written first :) :) :) Personally I like the vampire diaries books much better. Why? 1. There's more books and shes writing more 2. There is more crazy and creative things going on like them going to the dark dimension etc. 3. There is a much more intense love triangle. And in regards to the show, the men are much hotter! I mean every single guy in that show is hot even Alaric is damn sexy! Also Damon and Elena have better chemistry than Edward & Bella. 'Nuff said! :-P
