@trferguson22 there are tons of reference material on that topic. I am 3/4 way through the Pagan Christianity right now and so far, no real mention of KJV being good or bad. caution however.. lots of misquoted and frankly incorrect information on the KJV and being innaccurate over another. Be careful.

Just saw Barna on Huckabee and it was so ridicules that I had to come on and deliver a big "FUCK YOU" from the younger generation. His 'analysis' of us (if you can call it that?) was both typical religious right rhetoric and offensive.

I think you understand the point: if your premises are pragmatic and utilitarian then you must concede that any worldview espousing superior statistics than that of atheism deserves your pursuit. BARNA has shown that Atheist per capita have lower crime rates, and divorce rates, but that is not the reason I am an Atheist .I was rasied Atheist, Studied Religion , and remained an Atheist.Sorry,but these statistics do not lie. The study itself was done by Christians.

What don't you understand? They're droning on about kids but never mention the most significant influence: parents. This is emblematic of how the modern church can often unintentionally hinder the family. And, as far as Atheists having more morals than Christians, is nonsensical. There's no way to quantify that.

You still don't make any sense, but that's probably because you're a poor communicator, i.e., your writing is difficult to understand. Too bad your atheism isn't helping you there. But, even if statistics demonstrate that proportionally atheists have less divorces, that still doesn't establish the veracity of one's worldview. Therefore, if Muslims have even less divorces than atheists, you should pursue that religion—based upon your premises.

Ok ,I am back from My trip ( and under a new name).An interesting thing happend on my trip from an Airline hostess. I and My Partner were told to stop holding hands while sitting in bussiness class, it was against her religion.

Actually she lost her job after that . My Partner is a Pilot for that very Airline, and he was in plain cloths, otherwise she probably wouldnt have been so bold. Delta is very gay friendly and has full partner benifits.
