miss that arsenal.they never won any trophy but never failed to entertain and thats what football used to be a form of entertainment as opposed to a business and as for the arsenal of old (98-03) history will remember them for ever for their achievements and style.
What hapened to Arshavin's sense of play .... Arshavin at his best, with Van Persie, Wishere and Vermalen and Song at the back .... we can easily get back to our best.
I miss Fabregas, I miss Eboue... I even miss Clichy and Nasri... a little. Now Arsenal just don't play like that. Due to Wilshere's absence, the only creative players are RvP and Arteta - playing right behind overrated Ramsey. It's crazy. Rosicky and Chamberlain both deserve more time on the pitch, Van Persie deserves some assistance, Walcott, Ramsey and Gervinho deserve sitting on the bench - and Arsenal deserve TRUE transfers!
@aledobretociastko Wer still in the recovery phase even though its been a while. The creative players are developing such as Ramsey. I agree rosicky deserves a place but wenger is trying to develop ramsey as much as possible. Im sure he will be like fabregas later on but we really need some real through balls in our games. Walcott i hate even though on a blue moon he has an amazing game. Gervinho is very good, its just his shooting. But we are developing, next season we will be a force.

He's a threat every game with this dribbling skills, sure he needs to work on his finishing but most of Robin's goals were assisted by him. You're right about Ramsey being overrated, Rosicky should start over him.

He's a great substitute, nothing more. If he wanted to play in the first squad, he could've joined NUFC. We had brought gervinho who was already a winger. At the time we thought we would keep nasri but he ended up leaving by the time mata signed for chelsea. Kroenke forced wenger to sell nasri cause 20m was too much to waste. Nasri was going to move to fabregas position (CAM) and gervinho wouldnt taken his with is LW.

Sicne we got rid of Fabregas, Nasri and Denilson we certainly seem to be doing a lot less of the skipping around in the opposition penalty box and often wasting chances. Sure, that means that we aren't putting as much pressure on them and we aren't making them scared to face us, but atleast our new tactic is getting us goals....

Typical arsenal, they play the ball back and forth, back and forth and about 50 passes later they finally have it where they want it, no more than 7 feet from the goal, where Nicklas Bender proceeds to fuck it up. Good riddance bendtner.

Brilliant video. You notice watching this that most of our best moves were the ones that didn't result in goals. I love the one against Alkmaar last season which van Persie hit narrowly wide, I was there at the stadium and it was amazing to see first-hand. My personal favourite though is the Bolton goal, it's like everyone knew beforehand where they were supposed to pass and to run into.

ever since henry left we became a 'nearly' team. close to the top and able to beat anybody on a given day but just not quite enough desire or focus to win things. now that fabregas, nasri, hleb, adebayor, flamini, denilson, eboue are gone and arshavin has lost sharpness, we seem to be a nervous shadow of our former self. our football is not entertaining but seems more desperate, the defence more shaky than ever. arsenal need a new direction and i fear wenger cannot provide that.

@PlayerKillerRS FACTS: henry was never replaced. diaby is is no vieira. flamini and diarra were not replaced. too much pressure was put on fabregas and he is not a natural leader. adebayor was not replaced. nasri was not replaced. arteta is not fabegas level. walcott is not world class. each year the team does not progress. you are deluded if you think we are as good as man u, man city, chelsea and other top european teams. the only chance of a trophy we have is the carling cup or fa cup.

@PlayerKillerRS eduardo was playing mostly from the left in 07-08 and scored only 4 goals as he was ineffective from that position. i really dont know what you have been watching because you seem to just make it up as you go along. van persie did not replace adebayor, he replaced bergkamp as the creative forward. he has only become more of an out and out striker this past year. tap in goals? isnt that what van persie does aswell yet he is loved? quit your bias and think logically.

Brilliant video. You notice watching this that most of our best moves were the ones that didn't result in goals. I love the one against Alkmaar last season which van Persie hit narrowly wide, I was there at the stadium and it was amazing to see first-hand. My personal favourite though is the Bolton goal, it's like everyone knew beforehand where they were supposed to pass and to run into.
