although Banksy has done quite a few chimps, I think he is more world renown for doing rats, and photo-realistic stencils make wonderful practice, especially when working with more than one layer. I don't think he's going for a knock-off. I really enjoyed the legalize stencil, writing always give's me trouble. props

either way stenciling can be used 2 rip off of others people work. i'm sure banksy doesnt clear use'n photos of chimps, people or objects. the rat looks like he can draw that n make stencils or just paint em. who doesn't like chimps? no matter what u hav learned. in general they are thought as long lost cousins of humans. despite if u believe in the bible (some truth but mostly fairy tales against the gov. at that time), or the info about monkey's formd from fish (which is true). evolution.
