2009 Lexus IS250 w/ F-Sport Cold Air Intake Before and After

Hi I have a question. I have magnaflow exhaust on my 2007 is250. i was looking to get an intake. will this intake make the exhaust sound change because there is more air flow?

In other words, would my IS250 still be quiet if I'm just doing normal driving and not revving the engine above 3k RPM.

Hey I got a question, I have a 2009 IS250 as well and I was wondering...is the intake loud at low RPMs? I love my IS250 because it's a quiet ride. I want to get an intake but I don't want that loudness always to be there. For example, if I'm just coasting along on the freeway at around 2200 RPM, will the intake sound be overbearing?

@McSaggler at 2.2k rpm it would sound normal as if w/o. you won't really hear the intake until you hit 3k+

hey, I have an IS 250 as well and am looking for some parts as well. can I go directly to the Lexus dealership to purchase these parts and will they install them for me? I'm specifically interested in the F-Sport exhaust and the cold air intake.

@TheGreenSmoke yea their parts department will have these parts. i recommend you take the parts outside to install instead of having the dealer install them cause its going to cost you big bucks for their labor.

not really, you have to hit 3k+ to really hear a growl. low end, is like not havin any.
