i think the problem is that most of us came from advanced piano riffs and stuff. this is really easy beginner.

An excellent lesson. Im consentrating on walking bass myself right now, and found ur video very interessting and easy. Its the basic terms that are important. U got right to it. A lott of the lessons on the tube are to long, and contain to much crap. Those who say that this isnt Jazz dont now much about jazz. Thanks a lot, and please continue making jazz lesson videos.

Simple and clear. I think negative comments are exagerated as making it simple without too much explanations will for this simple example quickly get the player going. The BIG theory jazz music requires can then be found elsewhere but he has got some start! It is more a pure blues scheme should be said but still jazzy. Rds /Stefan

This isn't in C minor, its a c blues scale. Theres lots of tutorials on youtube of how to play them, you should check them out, they really open up many new genres.

that was a Blues Piano left hand walking pattern and no "walking Jazz Piano" ; besides, if you intend to teach the people, you should tell them WHY they have to play exactly the notes you played and no others... otherwhise people cant understand the harmonic backround...
