  • I love cpks!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Big.....

  • I just ran across my lil babies. I adopted my brothers once he got to nog for his britches. These r truly the most memorable dolls ever.

  • You know what i believe Cabbage patch kids are awsome. And I'm not lieing on this one. Most of those clothes on the Caggabe Patch Kids are made by my 2nd cousin berniece. I know what your thinking, " YOU LIEING YOUR JUST JEALOUS!!!!!" she didnt make 'em all, she got help by others too. I have one of the very first Cabbage patch kids evver made and I love it! Cabbage Patch Kids Rock! :)

  • My favorite cabbage patch kid was named bernie woody and came in an orioles outfit and hat. My grandfather's name is Bernie William and is from Baltimore. Bernie is a very unique Cabbage patch kid and I love him <3 :-D

  • mine had orange hair, green eyes, forget the outfit. her name was jennifer

  • I love American Girl dolls, so my mom told me Cabbage Patch kids were like her American Girl doll, until till everything got burned in a fire. So I showed my mom this commercial and she was crying for joy. It was beautiful.

  • DUDE! I just seen the newest commerical of these and fucking I seen on the upper right corner a cabbage patch kid bending over and showing her ass! It only lasted a mid second so I caught a glimpse but OMG it was like a fucking hidden message HOLY SHIT tell me someone else seen this and make sure to look when it comes on! ><

  • My,i would be scared to sleep with one of those.

  • This was before American girl Dolls.

  • i always tried to eat those when i was little

  • ♥ ♥ Winifred Georgia.....We had the same BIrThDay ♥ ♥ her yarn hair was so amazing! LoVely Red Yarn ♥ ♥ And, then I got a CrImPer! ♥ ♥

  • Wow, they still make these. I'm too young to know what it was like back then, but now I'm in 6th grade and I've had one of these since I was like, 5. :)

  • I'm a guy and I had a cabbage patch kid back in grade 5 (and that was years ago). I had to beg my mother for one at a toys store after seeing my classmates brought them to school. I ended up with a boy premiere doll. Luckily, most of my friends back then were females, and they liked my doll too. My male friends also liked my CPK too. That's what true friends are for - they don't tease or call you names for playing with dolls. Sadly, my true friends and I have drifted apart .

  • haha im 17 and still love cabbage patch kids i used to have alot when i was little now i just have two one from 1984 and one from 2006 :P

  • I am 50 years and still collect Cabbage Patch Kids. I was 22 when my dad a toy salesman brought my first one home Lewis Augustine a boy with a red cap, blue jean overalls shorts and a blue shirt. These are the best dolls ever. Love ya Cabbage Patch Kids.

  • @sygo7g ahahaha. LOL. Oh oh. I didn't cut my egghead's hair. I still have her in original clothing. She's dirty and battered, but intact. I plaited her hair first 3 strands of wool per plait, then plaited it together in increasing larger strands to hide the egg part. :-) My 4yo has my Miriam Amanda now.

  • @sygo7g I did that to my Barbie dolls! Later I melted them into deformed siamese twins, usually with Barbie & Ken melted in sexual positions. I think I was a bit unbalanced back then haha. Actually, I just have a black sense of humour. I sure hope your sister's cabbage patch kid was not the original 'egghead' type where the wool hair only went up the back of the head and around the frame! That would look hideous short. Later ones had wool hair all over their head or nylon hair all over.

  • i want one....

  • I was given Cabbage patch doll sometime in the mid 80's craze of the doll's popularity when i was younger.I remember it was a girl doll named Isabell (maybe mispelled the name...)I never was much into dolls,i liked LEGOS,Lightbright ,Operation &My little poney, games/toys better than dolls at the time as a young child.

    ^_^

  • @lostfan1978 Lucky you didn't go to my school. I was a 'cool kid' but I soon got kicked out of the group because I didn't have a Cabbage Patch Kid, because that was the 'game' that had to be played every recess by the cool group. When I eventually got one, times had changed and you had to own a 'MyChild' (remember those cute little fookers with the furry faces?). Then it was Furbys.... freaking rich kids that don't have to wait for Christmas to get the new fad!

  • My mom got me three of them, each on a christmas. I got April in 1990, Lori in 1991 and VaNita in 1992.

And I still have them! LOL!

  • @MsSilentsiren VaNita? Was she black and dressed in ghetto gear, bling, tube top and all? I would LOLz so hard if you said YES!

  • AND ALL END UP AT THE GOOD WIIL

  • my dad makes me shave his back :.(

  • @xgorebreath umm..gross.

  • my sister got the black cabbage pach doll look like "Presious " hahahah

  • OMG, I'm turning 32 this year and so remember these dolls, me and my older sister got them the year they can out for christmas. My dools name was Carla, and my sisters dolls name was Jill, man those were the days, my dolls and My Little Pony

  • I remember a Cabage Patch Kids Commercial that had that same brand logo, but I think it had the sound of a real human baby.

does anyone have that commercial? or know where it is?

  • I love the future child molester in the beginning who PULLS DOWN the diaper after the other kid says "MY kid has a REAL diaper!" (As if EVERY OTHER CPK didn't??") But WTF was with that creepy kid sticking her finger in there? Sick! And I love how they make the BOY call HIS CPK a "Bud" because heaven forbid he play with it as it's his CHILD...THAT might make him GAY! RIGHT, Coleco? LOL!!!

  • I'm 11 and I still love Cabbage patch kids!!!!!

  • @Chey299

    yer ive got 3 a kid a baby n a new born ...

i soooo wana go to the hospital!

  • I'm 35 and remember when these first came out. I was 8 at the time. Every girl in my class got one and would bring them to school to show off. I ended up with two - a curly haired girl and a bald baby boy.

  • My brother and I got one Cabbage Patch Kid each. He had a bald baby boy, and I had a little girl with ponytails.

  • @AnnainCA The bald babies came out later, they were called 'premmies' as in premature, which made me LOL because no newborn has hair (even at term) long enough to braid! Also the hair on the originals was only made of wool and ran up the middle of the head plus around the frame. If you took out the pony tails, you ended up with bald spots, which my friends called 'eggheads' and considered really daggy. Only the later ones had either a full head of wool hair or 'cornsilk' hair (like a barbie)

  • @dynasue77 I'm old enough to remember commercials for them (not this one). I still have mine, bought circa 1988, a blonde who came with birth certificate name "Miriam Amanda". My sister got tanned, brunette "Jacqueline Esther" same year. We were both pissed bc the year before we asked for CPKs & got "Flower Children" instead (a cheap version if u recall those?). It was only later that 'premmies' or 'cornsilks' (real hair) came out. Originals like ours had bald spots under the knitting wool hair

  • @dynasue77 I'm also in my 30s I wanted a cabbage patch doll when I was 6-8 years old and my mom didn't buy me one but she had a co-worker make a homemade doll that she bought from to give to me. It didn't look exactly like the original doll but it was chunky looking.

  • The kid at 0:11 kinda looks lyk he has social issues lyk his little cpk is his only friend.

  • Wow, I haven't seen this commercial since I was 6 years old! I remember wanting a Cabbage Patch Kid so bad that year. I finally got my first one for Valentine's Day '84. Thanks for posting! :)

  • Thanks for commenting! My brother and I got our Cabbage Patch Kids for Christmas 1984. :o)

  • @g0thchik77 I doubt you remember this at that exact age. You should have just said you remembered this when you were a kid. Sounds more believable.

  • @g0thchik77 Your comment and username makes me think you were born in 1977, so in 1984 you were 7 in 1984 and you had a boyfriend rich enough to buy you a cabbage patch kid then??? Either you were dating a pedo or Richie Rich??? Which was it lol?

  • Ha, I did the same with my Raggedy Ann dolls. ;o)

  • Please keep posting doll commercials :)

  • I'll do my best!
