This is a great montage, very sad that it was short lived due to Diann Burns and Bill Zwecker being let go, and Randy Salerno's unfortunate snowmobile death.
The chemistry on the morning show I don't think can ever occur again in a newsteam. I had the honor to meet Randy on a tour at CBS 2 about a year ago and he was the best and most kindhearterd human being. He one person I will never forget.
I can imagine. You sure could feel the bond between them all. I felt so bad for Roseanne when they were showing their tribute to Randy. She really cared for him and that's something not really seen in the business.
Eh its not the same. I mean Randy has the bond with co-workers off air as well as on air. Many anchor teams are great on air but one the floor director calls all clear you wouldn't believe that they just anchored a newscast with the compassion towards each other like they just did. Allison and Warner have the bond, Randy and Roseanne had it.
Hasn't Steve Baskerville been there forever???????

The only other bond like that in Chicago may be Warner and Allison. If you see them off air, I swear they could be married.
