    Are you making sure you are only moving the camera on a single axis? You absolutely need a tripod for this. And make sure there is not too much or too little overlap. =)

    oh yey today it finally worked :)

    went swimming with my gf yesterday and took some pics with my 7D and it worked.. i just used some more "overlap"-space and it worked..

    btw i did it without a tripod.. you do not need a tripod at all for this ;)

    You're right, some of the sony cameras have built in panorama. Tripod just ensure you'll get the most vertical real estate when you stitch your images. Super useful when you have a very wide panorama. Glad it worked for ya =)
