  • Greeting and Merry Christmas to u and ur family my friend !

Hmoob languages phaj hauj mas nyuab heev, Hmoob xav kawm thiab xav paub

heev tab si kawm tsis tau thiab nyuaj heev. Yog koj kawm tau mas koj yog ib

tug hero ( phab ej ) Kav tsij qhia rau Hmoob yog koj muaj peev xwm kawm tau os.

  • @genLeeChoi They've recently changed the phaj hauj scriptures a bit so it would be easier for people to understand. They made it more similar to Thai and Laotian. I know so because a friend of mine was learning it, and it's called paj ntaum hmoob (Idk how to spell in Latin Hmong).

  • interesting... 10 years ago i visited an uncle. he's was about 60's something. had some scripture written on his wall, i asked what they where and he said that they where hmong. i recalled it looks more like Arabic scripture.

  • Who ever is your teacher? or what ever book you use YOU WILL NOT be able to use this hmong writing system because it has not ROOT; it is like looking at a muddy pond. (if you know what I mean, if not never mind). Keep on dreaming of using the so called "hmong language/writing." The world is NOT ready to see THE WAY OF Phajhauh. If you or the world is fortunate enough (that is to save its Lord) phajhauh migh reveals itself to the world someday. If not this art will just be a dream to you.

  • @goldseekertime Great to have you stop by and give your opinion. Appreciate you coming to watch this video and give feedback. Ua tsaug ntau phooj ywg os.

  • wow kuv.....kuv... qhuas koj luss ur phone is ringing cuz i'm calling u on how to spell 1 hmoob word lol j/k .... EH U SHOULD COME TO THIS 1 SITE I WANNA SEE U N TALK AND CHAT WITH ME. IF U WANNA COME EMAIL OR MESSAGE ME. I'M ALWAYS THERE PLZ GET BACK TO ME ASAP......

  • also, please don't give hopes to the fellow hmong on this modernized (fake) script. i appreciate the efforts you put in though.

  • i just want to put out there that the phaj hauj you are using is not the correct one. i know its been modernized and simplified for hmong in MN to use, but like my instructor said, each new ideology and/or system requires sweat and blood to make it notice. the original script is being carried by the Caub Fab back in laos, hencing the alternative name, Ntawv Caub Fab. they are the one who is sweating and bleeding for the orinigal script. we must respect and honor their duty and sacrifices.

  • So impressive. Thanks for opening this up to all of us interested in learning this tongue again!

  • omg! i m hmong and i didnt even kno this! im so amazed!so subscribing now!

  • wow great job. better than most hmong ppl these days :D

  • I've got to admit you do know your info. But I've got to correct you on some things in the pahauh script. The Pahauh script for KUV is in the right line, but its the wrong character. The first Character of "HAIS" is actually the character for "KUV" and "HAIS" is actually totally a different character. I don'e really want to point you out but I'm just saying and telling from how i learned it. I hope you don't take this offensively. I respect you for putting your time to learn about us Hmong. :)

  • @aNdyThAoSta Be nice to him at least he's not one of those people making fun of your language. At least he wants to learn Hmong. He knows more than most of the kids now and days.

  • @twobadatless Oh no I'm praising him! I mean I love the fact that he takes interest in our culture and everything. And for it i respect him. But I was just correcting him. I hope i haven't offended anyone.

  • hey laoshu koj puas kam qhia peb kawm ntawv phaj hauj os vim peb xav paub thiab na. thiab koj mus kawm ntawv hmoob thiab ntawv phaj haum qhov twg los cas koj yuav keej ua luaj li os thov qhiav phaj hauj rau peb thiab please

  • @daisiabdhuam Yog mas phooj ywg, yog tias koj yeej xav kawm lus phaj haum nrawm no, kuv ua lwm cov video li no tau rau koj dua os.

  • Man you broke it down, and went in to detail. We are not that complicated.

  • According to the original creators of the RPA writing system in Hmong, you do not combine syllables. Here's a website dedicated to Txiv Plig Nyiaj Pov. You can listen to his radio interview on a link right at the top. hmongrpa.org

  • i was wondering where are you from? i remember learning the phaj hauj back in the mah child hood days

  • @NtxhaisNtximHnia I'm originally from Akron, Ohio, but I'm in Columbus now.

  • @laoshu505000 oooic.. what makes you interested in learning the hmong language? if you dont mind me asking?

  • @NtxhaisNtximHnia I just think that it's a very interesting language

  • @laoshu505000 OooHic.. thats great how you are actually open up to diversity.

  • oOoh i learn that writting when i was a kid

  • Your really good with your Hmong. :)

  • I'm not trying to be offensive, but you're one of the first few Blacks that I have seen learning our language. It's so rare, I mean, nobody really knows about our history and culture. But you give yourself time and devotion to learn this and you''re already good at it! I'd like to speak to you one day in Hmong :)

  • @MySungminOppa Heh, I don't see anything offensive about that.

  • koj keej kawg li os laoshu. koj nyob twg?

  • @DEJNAG Nyob zoo npawg. Kuv nyob Ohio...koj ne?

  • omg i am shock you know how to write in both i cant even write or read those thingy... lol.... kool... keep up the good work...

  • mob siab is like heart break.... muaj siab is hard work..but good job man keep it up

  • How did you come about learning Hmong, learning the two hmong written languages?

  • @tswjxeem It was hard work, but I searched for some good resources for the language and just practiced for about 3 months and got used to it.

  • teach me pha hauj

  • @vmp98765 I've made some Phaj hauj videos for you to watch. Let me know if you have any questions.

  • YOU ARE GOOD SPEAKING IN HMONG !!!!!

  • hmong leng is the ancient version of green, which green originated from, but now you don't hear too many people use it or speak it. Only the older folks. Green and leng are similar but not exactly the same, persay.

  • dude...u're into hmong? that's tight....i'm always amazed at people knowing our language and it's so fascinating to see others getting to know us...you will make a big difference to others and even to us hmong peeps to learn our language again...even i need to learn it again because i'm losing the language as well...keep up the good work, u're doing good...

  • yeah that's how i would write it....it just makes more sense like the English text.

  • nice job there, if only more were to learn our own language....

  • hey man I must admit you speak in hmong very well. [=

  • Your hmong is getter better every time i listen to you. Good job, keep it up.

  • This languages seems to be very interesting ! ^_^

  • Correct. You are writing it the right way. Latinized and Phaj Hauj. People who write it conjoining like that are doing it wrong. They are all separated words. It is rare to see words written together like that. Doesn't make sense at all.

  • my state, im pretty sure, has the largest hmong population in the country, maybe second but there is a large population anyway. A girl in my translating/interpreting class was there for hmong and she told me with American Hmongs they generally use the latin verson and thats all she could read. Plus all the signs here in Hmong(they are everywhere) use the latin version. Not saying don't learn both but jus putting that in there for some reason lol. are you learning both dialects?

  • @dudeonthasopha I'm not learning green hmong right now. I do plan on learning it sometime in the future though.

  • @laoshu505000 Hmong green is not a language, Hmong Leng is, also you cant learn it, you just have to adapt to it, its more slang than a new language

  • @Yuesx Green Hmong= Hmong ntsuab. No offense but it was a bit contradictory when you said that ''Green Hmong is not a language, but Hmong Leng is'' and that ''Hmong leng'' can't be learned. I'll post up a video response to this because it seems that I can't post a long message here. Talk to you soon.

  • @laoshu505000 Hmong ntsuab and Hmong Leng are two different groups of hmong and although their dialect may sound similar, there are discrepancies that differentiate the two groups.

  • @JangByang So Hmong Leng doesn't mean green hmong?

  • @laoshu505000 i think when we really get down to it, its dialect is similar but maybe they've been differentiated through the clothes...i think for example...they can say they speak the white dialect but they consider themselves hmoob dub or hmong stripe (depending on which part of the country theyre situated). my buddy who speaks in the green dialect doesn't consider himself hmong green but hmong leng. I speak hmong white so i can never tell if there is really a different dialect there....

  • @laoshu505000 no leng is leng and green is ntsuab

  • @laoshu505000 hmong ntsuab and hmong leng belongs in the same categories.

  • they can be use for "group" or 'language'.

  • @JangByang CORRECTION!!! ...Hmong ntsuab IS Hmong leng... not two different groups... nor different dialect...okay... !!!

  • @Yuesx lol......Moob leng and moob green is the same, depending on who is using it. Moob leng is a language as will as Hmong white. It is not a slang. I'm assuming your Hmong white?

  • I've noticed that you speak in a softer voice when speaking a foreign language.

  • @Codylangaugesblog hahahaha! Yea..

  • I love the video.

    Thanks.

  • @smartwarlord Thanks
