  • How many plies/thickness on the Bass and toms?

  • They sound ok... but a little dead for my tastes. I like more of a bow-sound from my kit. I prefer birch shells for the toms and maple for the snare and bass.

  • @TheBadAssKiller WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheBadAssKiller I think it may have to do with how they are mixed in their system.

  • @2468DDT I agree... there are more variables involved than just the mics. No one ever asks what pre amps are used or if the sound is EQ'd.

  • alal vera momak!

  • does ab have a web site???

  • Does anyone know details about that snare?

  • @doctaLB 14"x7" DC California 5 ply maple shell with gold leaf finish

  • @soultonecymbal01

I'm assuming AB is a subdivision of DC California. The snare is gorgeous. Get my hands on that gem ;)

  • @doctaLB Actually it's not. It's a brand we might be affiliated with.

  • @shaowte07 A 20" Custom ride that got some extra lathing and hammering on it.
