  • "Who's that?......Telegram Sam"!!!

  • "SLADE", - МОЯ любимая группа №1 с детства,(с 12 лет) №2 - "DEEP PURPLE",

С каждым прослушиванием, я всегда открываю для себя, что - то новое!

  • I've never understood why the fuck they keep playing Merry Christmas Everybody when this song shits on it from a height of ten miles...

  • @happyuk06 Definately these guys rocked harder than ever.

  • @happyuk06

The hell!! Slade were really good back then, not saying this is bad! Slade has always been a good band making good songs, and Radio wall of sound and Merry christmas is both good songs, in my opinion their best songs are Cum on feel the noize an Far far away

  • I've recently rediscovered Slade, & for at least a few months now, All I seem to listen to at work is Slade. Better late than never I guess. Does anyone know where to find Slade CDs or would want to share Slade recordings? Send me a msg. Many of their albums are out of print, and I am having a hard time finding them anywhere. Which is why I've been listening to them on Youtube...

  • @HireMeVinceMcMahon Theres remasters avaliable all on itunes!

  • Much better, although I cant stand the voice overs, they ruin it for me

  • SLADE is the best no funckin protest

  • I love that music, I love that sound

I love this new channel I've found

I love that record, I love that noise

    This frequency's my favourite toy

  • I have watched this a few times, and have only just realised that the opening "DJ" is Mike Read ex - BBC Radio1. This is probably the best thing he ever did lol.

  • One of Slades best songs ever!

  • i miss this music

  • Saying "one of Slade's best hits" is like saying "one of the bigger waves in the sea". There are a lot of big ones.

  • Bloody fantastic end to the run of Slade hit singles. Most importantly it was a hit in the 90s giving them hits in three decades.

Don't be hard on Mike Reid: he was of very good support to Slade, especially in the 80s giving them invites onto pop shows and always playing their single releases. He also played album tracks too from Kamikazee, Rogues and You Boyz. He always wanted to have a hit himself so I guess Slade did the decent thing and invited him to appear on this-just guessing though.

  • Slade at there best.

  • Good tribute to Marc Bolan! Bollocks to going American....One of the best Slade songs ever (& I grew up with them!)

  • Amazing tune, but i coulda done without that annoying announcer.

  • awesome, this is how rock music was made w/out Corporate input. SLADE!!!!!

  • im 40, and never heard this song before. Im a brand new Slade fan...(only knew RunRunaway)

  • @gaae2000 I'm almost jealous, you have so much wonderful Slade stuff to come.

    Best wishes BM

Long live The Mighty Slade !!

  • I recognize the background. It is Vancouver City Hall.

  • This song appeared in 1991 also on the German Polydor pressing of their "Wall of hits"-Best-of-CD. Great, loud stamping rockers who reminds of their very best Glam rock times in the 70s and to which I listen still today over and over again with pleasure. Rockin' greetings from Germany.

  • MAS DE TRES DECADAS DE GLORIAAA!!!!

  • A tune with no age limit.

  • Slade go all Americana................cheesey!

  • Slade went all Def leppard with this one.

  • I love that record, I love that noise

Now my girl rocks with the boys

I love that music, I love that sound

So just play the radio loud

    Thats it.

  • Its cool to see Slade in this cool black dressed look, even though Slade wasnt about being cool but to rock (which they always did no matter the cloths)

  • The Best

  • @livingathope the best by a mile, theres only one noddy holder,,,,,,,,,,,,,, theres only one slade,,,,,legends,,,

  • great voice from the leadsinger

  • awesome noise!

  • love 1:27-1:31

jim sounds like joe elliott on this one (def leppard) shame it never made top 10

  • don't remember this tune.....my loss! it's brilliant! :)

  • wooohoo another one Slade's best tunes. LUV IT xxx

  • I still think had Nirvana's, "Nevermind" made so much waves in the States a month before, this song would have been big here.

  • I love that noise ♥ :D

  • I love this song this one my favorite bands of all time

  • Thats Mike Read the former radio 1 dj with the midland legends. Brill days.

  • That was on the video...Wall Of Hits...released in the 90's...yeah?? I was born just 2 years AFTER they split, I am SOOOO pissed off and jealous i didnt grow up in their heyday! im so annoyed! cause i love them so much...especially Noddy...funny bugger he was.

  • Was??!!!... He still very much IS a Funny Bugger. He's still doing his thing, Huge Curly Mane of Hair still his Trademark Image, so keep an Eye out for him. Particularly look him up on Never Mind the Buzzcocks as he guested on it not too long ago.

  • Alrighty. Im not a Brit, and i dont watch British T.V so i wouldnt know what he's been on, or in.

Of course he hasnt changed his look now, with how old he is, people might now recognise him if he did change his look.

    Alrighty, ill look at it.

  • i love this new channel iv found

  • Slade 4 ever.

  • Dont you just love when Noddy Holder comes in on the chorus!

  • i see where Bono got his look from :P

  • Sounds like Turn up your radio by Autograph but just as good as it.

  • another great song to chart in 1991. There were a few but couldnt match the quality of the 80's as regards the quantity of great songs being released. But slade were pretty good throughout their career

  • best slade song i think. they should bring another single out!

  • Noddy appeared on UK television now and again when I lived there. He still has it.

  • love the sound love the group

  • 1991 !

  • Noddy holder didnt sing the verses cos he said 'they wernt in my key at all' so he sung the chorus.

  • Is Jim Lea (bass guitar) the lead singer on this song/video?! Wow...

This is my favorite Slade-song, next to "My Oh My", "Let's Call It Quits" and "Everyday".

Slade was a great glam rock-band, and this is a great hard rock-song! \m/

  • yes, he also had a band on the side called The Dummies.

  • Really? Cool! I didn't knew that...
