Dude, chill out. Comparing FMA and FMP to each other is useless. (sorta like "comparing apples to oranges") I think that they're both great shows, but they're so different that you can't compare them to each other. They're not even in the same genre. If you're such a die-hard FMA fan - rejoice! Ed's english voice actor plays one of the coolest characters in FMP - Kurtz!

Actually, that's not really a fair question. It just depends on what you like in an anime. If you want humor mixed with death, violence, romance, and giant robots, go with FMP. If you prefer mysticism and a more obvious plot with more twists to it than a roller coaster, watch FMA.

I think I do like FMP better because of the love story to it, thats the only thing FMA was really missing, cause the Ed/Winry thing wasn't enough for that...but honestly, both shows are amazing in their own ways...both different though so not really meant to be compared to each other.
