  • @Blackheathguy that's the intro to Make It Easy, from the same album. Hope that helps : )

  • What is the piece at the beginning of this?

  • Excellent performance, the intro and that piano solo brought the house down.

  • Once upon a time , there was M U S I C !

  • @express49 Tell me about it; people actually used to play musical instruments. Today they play protools, they play "cut and paste".

  • Vice city?

  • great song

  • Just a phenemonal performance from Trevor and Yes!

  • I, dancing with a real "fox" is a memory from then.

Gets my restless legs go just like that.

  • One of the greatest songs in Rock & Roll.

  • never think they were in there sixties

  • Excelent song

  • Rick Wakeman rules

  • I am impressed and delighted by how well Owner was done live. It worked so well (as many Yes songs do) in studio all I could do was hope - and how wonderful, this version is even better. So happy this exists.

  • @trysometruth this live concert must be in 1985 i guess so

  • @trysometruth Or i am wrongand it is the DVD from 1991 in Denver USA

  • well although there are supposedly only 2 copies my uncle trevor has him both and there not going anywhere, just to uh, let, u guyz no, uh haha,ha, he,he

  • where is Steve?

  • @lamecasuelas2 Probably off stage somewhere while this was being performed which he did on the Union tour, as back at that time, Steve wasn't exactly supportive or open to playing on "Owner", though now he's much more open to this song, plays it with Yes on their current tour with David Benoit singing, and shared the stage with Trevor performing this with Yes at the 2004 Prince's Trust Concert & at Yes's July 9, 2010 show at L.A.'s The Greek Theater where Trevor made a guest appearant on Owner.

  • @ZapperJet different time youngin.

  • very cool , shows how to play the led.

  • Anyone that has just a smidgen of guitar experience can play that. I have been playing it for years and I am not even a professional. It is quite easy.

  • Can't imagine what the people 'listen to' that d i s l i k e d this video(????)

  • bruford has like no camera time lol! White is tearing is up though!

  • Are you kidding? Howe could play this. This is child's play to him

  • There's no way in the world Howe could play this, he's simply not good enough

  • @mkeysou812 nonsense

  • @mkeysou812 Are you serious? How is ten times the guitarist Rabin is...and I like Rabin.

  • RIck Wakeman is GOD!

  • Comment removed

  • Rick Wakeman what more does one have to say

  • Como eles Puderam Fazer uma Musica Tão Maravilhosa Assim ?

How could they do a music so wonderful Like that song ?

  • How could I have forgotten about YES, listened to something that reminded me of an album I have that I haven't played for years - so glad I refound you <3

  • how could I have forgotten about YES, listened to something that reminded me of an album I have that I haven't played for years - so glad I refound you <3

  • that was f*****g AWESOME

  • that was just fantastic!

Check out my channell if your looking for some good prog rock!

  • Love the clarity of the opening guitar, and the finger speed on the keyboard at the end. Wow!!

  • good thing they had that guy there to shake that gourd!

  • Was that David Spade??

  • This awesome song quite simply KICKS SOME SERIOUS ASS around. From start to finish, an amazing tune from the fab 80's. and an amazing band as well.

  • WOW!! Still awesome after all these years.....music like this stands the test of time for sure...unlike this "crap" today!!

  • Rick Wakeman!

  • Visit our channel: grantorinoProg!

  • F$#@k ya, thats tight. Man I never get sick of trevors guitar sound.

  • never get fed up with this :o)

  • 16 people are owners of a broken heart...

  • always loved the live intro to this song. very melodic and pretty.

  • Best version ever! Trevor Rabin Rocks!

  • Tony Key and Rick Wakeman together? Oh yeah!

  • Sure is a lot of babble on this. Don't you people realize this is one of the most original rock songs of all time. Check the stop, bang, jumble breaks. Fantastis.

  • @crockermud I defenitvely say yes to this comment!

  • Where's Howe!! XD

  • @notnowjon Annoys me that Howe gets snooty about Yes's 'poppy/AOR' period, yet he played all that TERRIBLE Asia/GTR pish! :-(

  • @kettlezone "The terrible Asia". What are you saying?

  • @Filmlover5 Sorry, mate - I have nothing against pop/soft rock music, but I thought Asia were dreadful - it was the songs and Wetton sounding like Barry Manilow that put me off them - Soul Survivor was ok, though! GTR were even worse - crushingly disappointing! Sorry!

  • saw this tour at donald trumps opening of the taj majal in atlantic city

think it was called the g aetnes arena ? have to check my stub

  • I am the owner of a lonerly heart, but, not a broken heart!! Smiles!

  • That is just pure FUN!

  • yes that is my uncle, and i am not joking at all, its my mom amanda rabins brother, now her name is amanda kofsky cuz she married lolz

  • @antimatter92 And you're from Togo? :D

  • @antimatter92 You're a fortunate guy! Would like to be at your family get-togethers!

  • @antimatter92 well i love your uncle

  • @antimatter92 Next time you speak to him please ask him if he remembers a John Abrams from South Africa. That's one of my best friend's dad and they were neighbors growing up.

  • That is so cool. Trevor has forgot more about music than alot of musicians will ever know.

  • oner of a lonny hart

  • @hermanhannah Ma ha - pee yourself! ;-) :-)

  • Very good high quality

  • Dude that is the biggest Keyboard Pit that I have ever seen like their is 7 pianos!

  • Rick Wakeman is a very genius man, god, imo I think that keyboard solo makes this song awesome-r.

  • Howe isn't against Rabin-era material. He played on changes. It is well known that he just doesn't like this song and he preferred not to play it. He has gone on record as saying it just doesn't fit his style.

  • This is real music! Better than any Beiber shit! All I can Say MORE COWBELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • eessa é banda !!!! isso é somm rsrrss

  • i luv how my uncle plays the guitar and that i can know that man is my uncle =-)

  • @antimatter92 Dude that is actually your uncle?!

  • TE RRI FIC

  • Where's Steve Howe?

  • very jazzy !

  • rabbit,i like u to deepthroat my stump while rick wakeman ejacs all over you...twat.

  • I's a shame Howe didn't take part to this song in the tour: he could have added his on stuff, in an intresting way, as Wakeman did!

  • @KaiserFranzM Steve Howe did play it a few times with Trevor on stage...I'm sure you can find it on youtube.

  • @stevezane I saw some video of Steve and Trevor doing "Owner" together but it was videos from recent times (2004 or so...)! I was refering to the fact that in the Union tour he didn't join the band in this song...

  • @stevezane Unlike Howe, Wakeman does not have any ego problems and he stays on stage and plays the Rabin era material. There are plenty of guitar parts that Howe could have covered on this song, but Howe chose not to. That alone speaks volumes. Wakeman and Bruford are out there contributing to the song, but Howe is not. Bruford and Wakeman have no problem being out there for this and other Rabin era songs, so the problem is with Howe.

  • awesome, reminds me of when I saw the vid on MTV when I was about 7 or 8 on MTV when they played something called .... music videos 24/7

  • BILL BRUFORD - PLAY SOMETHING ! TALK ABOUT "PHONING IT IN" !!!!!!

Well played, well sung by everyone else !!

  • good song, songs sometimes tell how Im feeling without telling anybody!

  • i seen this on the forh of july and they had fire works to go with the song it was great

  • Its ok guys the 40year olds used to watch bill and ben and had a fancy for weeeeeeeeddddd

  • I can definately say "Yes" to this music

  • Pauleira!

  • 1992 Union Tour. Steve Howe didn't bother coming out to join the boys.

  • This is a great example what music can be: Fantastic !

Look at the rock music of today. Simple and ridicoules ! Always Klons.

  • YES ARE SHIT !!!!!.....& you all know it. Move on will ya, & stop remembering songs that were shit & kidding yourselves that they used to be sooooo good. Fuckin prog rock garbage at its very worst.

  • @Rabbit1Lee and I suppose the huge crowd is a testament to your impressive knowledge of music.

  • @maccrazyg5 Yeah.....somethin like that ; )

  • @Rabbit1Lee lol... grow up

  • @kirezar I have, I'm 40...old enough to remember just how shit Yes were lol. & don't even get me started on The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table !! On ice !!!! jesus....... ; )

  • @Rabbit1Lee Since "YES ARE S**T" then how did you come in this link? Go watch something that matches your music taste. ( Am I wrong or what? ) Music is for making people feeling better!

  • @MidiJet72 You are so right man ! This is a complex Problem of people who can´t exept genius musicians ! This concert is defenetifly one of the best live features ever !

And I play grand stainway for 40 years. Fu.... the jelous ignorants !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Greetings from Germany

    Dr. J.

  • @Rabbit1Lee We all lived in different times and music of those times, if the roles were reversed you wouldnt have that attitude, i could be saying your music is crap and you would say yes was brilliant and they were. Brain cell to little off when passing comments about something that you do not understand. Your language is equivelent to who you are. Nothing!

  • @plus8000dvd "we all lived in different times & music of those times?" What time did you live in then ? I lived through the 70s, & as a result of that, I'm fully aware that Yes were shit. Truly shit. So.....plus8000dvd, you can stick your condescending tones up your arse for nothing, & fuck off while your doing it. You conservative, Daily Mail reading white-collar fuck. Oooh, shame on my language : )

  • @Rabbit1Lee this song may be terrible, but listen to the entire fucking Starship Trooper or something good and early by Yes and tell me its complete shit. I know some people who dont care for the style of music, but come on, the early stuff at least is pretty far from shit...

  • @Rabbit1Lee Are you a retard to come here wasting time on putting the band down??/ Lets see what you can do better than these guys.Shit for you,but Gold for me.

  • @stevezane Thanx for the kind comments Steve. My grandma could do better than these guys. Yes were shit, they still are shit. & when Jon decides to put his ego on the back burner & recover from his lil asthma bout,, I'm sure they will churn out a brand new crock off shit. But hey, lets discard with all these harsh words & sit down, hold hands & just chill out to Olias Of Sunhillow. Now wouldn't that be nice ?

  • @Rabbit1Lee you are fucked up bro...Yes is not shit, might be shit for ya,but i guess your understanding of music is very low. Peace Bro!

  • Chris Squire is a god...

  • Very interesting performance from a set of excellent musicians. I 'd like to notice the way that Wakeman hits the keys, it is not a "piano-student" typical way of placing hands on the keyboard BUT as soon as the mission is... accomplished then... who cares? You just watch and listen!

Nitrus747, thank you for uploading this excellent example of 80's music.

  • I didn`t realize that they ever had a lineup with both Tony Kaye and Rick Wakeman as I`m seeing here. That must have been awesome..........

  • So cool!!!!!!! It´s the best version i´ve ever heard

  • @Luemmeltuete98

then we realize how much of a collective band yes realy is..

  • wait a minute........I thought I knew something about YES,........where's Steve Howe???

  • @raljazz Funny thing about that: Howe is a genius, but he is snooty about Rabin's work with Yes, yet he is fine with the shallow pish produced by Asia and GTR! What's that about?

  • @raljazz lol are you serious??? Trevor was the guitarist for yes for 15years.

  • @stevezane Ok..didn't know that. First noticed Yes in 1971, pretty sure that Steve howe was the guitarist back then. Or am i wrong?

  • Comment removed

  • @raljazz Yes you're right...Steve Howe is the original guitarist of Yes.Trevor Rabin Replaced him in 1981 till 1995.Yes became a little more modern with Trevor on the Axe.

  • @stevezane Actually, Peter Banks was the original guitarist for Yes. He played on the first two albums. Not to be overly nerdy, but I just want Peter to get his due for his time in Yes.

  • @stevezane Just To clarify the Guitarist controversy

    1968-1970 Peter Banks

    1970-1980 Steve Howe

    1983-1990 Trevor Rabin

1990-1992 Trevor Rabin Steve Howe Each one did ½ of Union

    1993-1994 Trevor Rabin Billy

    1995-1997 Steve Howe

1997-2000 Steve Howe and Billy Sherwood

    2000-Current Steve Howe

  • @angel11458 Thanks for that angel! Trevor is coming back in 2011 and will tour with Yes..the Keyboard player will be Rick this time.I'm looking forward to see this show!

  • @stevezane Trevor was guitarist for more like 5 years I'm pretty sure. He played on the 90125, Big Generator, Union and litle known Talk albums. He's been doing film scores for movies like Armageddon and National Treasure since then. I'm glad he split long before they became the Yes cover band they are now.

  • @kennedy78757 actually from 1981 till 1995..Trevor will tour with yes in 2011,but the keyboard player will be Rick wakman.

  • @stevezane Where did you hear that & who Will the rest of the band be?

  • @kennedy78757 On the radio. The line up will be the same..just Rick Wakman instead of Tony Kay

  • OH Man, this was AWESOME....YES at there absolute musical talented BEST! Thanks for posting!

  • Geil !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What an incredible clip , i'm blown away . Trevors live solo of perhaps one of THE most interesting guitar solos ever recorded was breath taking , thanks for posting this clip nitrus747

  • Leather pants are cool.

  • Great contribution from Wakeman during the coda. It was great to see Yes members on this tour adding their own flair to material they didn't originally play on - very much in the spirit of 'union.'

  • Y'all are all gay just like this band. Probably the gayest funniest 7 minutes ever. California shorts. Loser keyboard player. And "much better then a" guy. Gay gay gay gay

  • @mfinney061 You are an idiot! I think you are the loser here.

  • John Peel said they were shit and he was right, they are.

  • Oh hells yeah....they got that OFF!lol That'ts What's UP!
