if you check out the first levels its identical to the first mario. something happened where a designer or programmer went to nintendo and used this game as the basis for mario,and this one got forgotten.

@THEoneNonlyFOX This came out as a blatant Mario ripoff some time after the initial Mario release. Nintendo sued and won - Giana Sisters was dead until a new game came out for ...ironically, Nintendo DS.

Do you have the full length audio/video for the music that starts playing, and then is cut off, in the beginning of this vid with the "RED SECTOR" moving up and down? Cause if you do, could you please upload it? It is the best piece og giana-music I've heard, but there only exists a short version here on YT (as far as I know). Thnxs:)

@madto03 I don't have the music for that but I would suggest you download WinUAE the Amiga emulator and search for the Giana Disk. I don't think I have the game any more :(

@madto03 The music at the start is mod.amegas by Karsten Obarski. It is the title music to the game Amegas. There are a couple of copies on YouTube if you search ;) Hope that helps.

giana sisters was the first game of my life i bought my uncles old amig and he buyed a new 500er the soundtrack burned into my brain as i whas 4 -5 jears old
