@spiritualentertainer Danny, it is my belief that some kind of shift in conciousness will have to occur, sometime soon, and this will be the catalyst of the revolution / peaceful uprising which is impending. With this awakening, I hope will come the ability to live together in harmony, without need for war or, domination or power, or law etc. This kind of provides an answer to those such as your Barrister friends point, which is a fair one.
@benlowreyhimself Ok. Indeed it is your channel and you can do what you like. I can't say I understand your decision but that's ok. I don't understand very much do it's added to the list ! Can you explain what alternative you have in mind to the current system ? Do you think that people should be forced to refrain from doing anything ? How far does your argument go ?
@spiritualentertainer the laws only discourage people that are kind and good to stop doing things they wouldn't do anyway. police are only worried about statistics so they go for the easy targets rather than take on the real criminals. I think the system we have is inherently bad because the community's are to big and need to be a more personal, natural size. how can I change this? I wouldn't know where to start.
Hi Danny my arguments don't go as far as proposing what would be a good way to organise society. I learned the idea that it's irrelivant how things are going to get done from Stefan Molyneux, it primarily only matters to recognise that the innitiation of force is wrong
@spiritualentertainer Hey Danny! Hope you are doing well. I believe that most people who see the current system as a massive failure on so many different levels do not have a real precise answer when you ask them about the real alternatives. However on the contrary, these people often have a fairly good idea of what they 'do not want' to see and what they see as immoral, wrong and just plain criminal.
@spiritualentertainer I mean the current system that we are living under is not just a failure of small proportions but a failure of massive proportions when you look at the state of the world that we find ourselves in. I do realize that some people may not see or understand this, because they have not been exposed to it or seen/experienced to understand what is really happening or some may even have had their minds corrupted and thus may justify their actions due to self interest.
@spiritualentertainer I am speaking very general at the moment because there are just too many inherent issues that could be discussed in relation to this. With regards to your question 'should people be forced to refrain from doing anything' ... yes of course! We should not cause harm, injury or loss to anyone out there and live in harmony with one another and our surroundings.
@spiritualentertainer I think this is where the heart comes into it and what feels right (unless of course an individual has already been corrupted and does not understand the difference between right or wrong anymore due to their emotions having been manipulated overtime and having been turned into a rock or zombie or for eg. self interest, conditioning and lying to themselves).
@spiritualentertainer Danny, if you want a better, more comprehensive explanation of this idea, head over to Stefan Molyneux's channel: stefbot. He is very well spoken, and concise (no offense to Ben here, but Stef would cover in 30 seconds what was talked about here in 6 minutes, and you'd understand it). He also has free e-books if you want really in depth exploration of ideas.

But everything is ok, as Danny says. You are right Danny, everything is perfict and just the way it's suppose to be. What we are witnessing is a transformation, from animality to an other being, humanity is only a bridge between the 2.
@Beatnuk Thanks for the reply. I understood that you are not condoning his viewpoints and maybe if he had not been blocked he may have wanted to explain his comment that has disgusted so many people. We do need to talk to each other and therefore it was such a shame that he felt the need to come into the debate dripping with sarcasm on his very first comment. Such a shame he did not want to have an Objective Discussion also.
I feel you, as I am very much in disagreement with him... His comment was childish, but it's not really that strange - because these concepts of Law and Order as being results of a societal structure, rather than individual freedom, is so ingrained in us collectively that knee-jerk reactions DOES occur. We have these beliefs subconsciously, and any opposition to these ideas will be met with emotional discomfort, until that person can make conscious the unconscious.
government was a/is a good idea.but what kind of government? that is the question ..if we all went back to nature then its mass death for the elderly sick and infants god forbid,,its the corruption that were seeing coming to light.this is a very old argument that will not be solved until we are all educated away from barbaric behaviour.its this written code taking rule over law that is the problem and it is most definatly by design..there will always be greedy people.i dont mind chipping in
@reksub10 to help weaker people ,but we need to be fair and their are people who wont chip in but want what youve got ,,in fact it seems that society whatever form it takes always goes but the strongest and fittest rule ,,,but in our society the strongest and fittest are fucked without the smartest,,,i dont know ,,plus jealousy is a bugger aswell but if we go the i robot ,borg route then were not human anymore and fucked
Mmm... is this the first video you've ever commented on? Your channel's virtually dormant until today. Ben must have riled you, what with seeking freedom from the control mechanism you so benefit from as a barrister. A member of a society structure who benefits greatly from it as you do, rarely wants to change that society structure.
@eml1909 do what thy wilt shall be the whole of the law .......but cause no harm injury or loss to an equal ....they force you not to cos they have a bigger stick ...i.e. the armed police and forces ...if you get a big stick then take them on square go time up the farm,it happens all the time(korea is making a big stick at the moment ,,,and so is iran supposedly and throught history
just to go slightly off topic ..the movie "paul" that simon pegg made recently had a scene where the passport that was scrutinized ,as they where in the u.s.a. said "british subject" on it ,,(and we all know of the subliminals or they are just blatant liminals now)concerning the passport in the matrix ....
@1966yjd ... 2 he did not write it as a scenario, it was written as a statement which we are meant to assume was sarcastic. Do we assume anything that is disgusting must have been said in sarcasm? Peace to you and I do not feel you have written your comments to antagonise people, only in the hope of everybody coming together :)
Are your thinking minds so disabled that you can't read SARCASM anymore? eml1909 was illustrating a POINT, yet you all take it literally. No hope here. To be Free, you first have to be conscious...
@eml1909 To publicly announce you want to harm and distress other members of your species, especially by by committing the most vile acts of robbing a child of it's innocence by raping it, and killing others, firstly, does not surprise me as to the lack of respect you have for your fellow man gvien your 'occupation',(most would assume a barrister is an 'upstanding' member of society), and secondly, I personally think you should exercise your own right to go kill yourself. Plus.....
@masterchrisd 2.........I agree with blocking you so that other subscribers can't be offended by your disgusting beliefs. Your comments would be covered by common law anyway, and you should know that. No need for barristers.
He didn't announce it. Think a little bit, dude. This type of non-commmunication is what creates the very illusory divisions between us. Everybody is turning onto JUDGING others based on what they "think" the other ones meant without further investigating or asking.
@Beatnuk That's exactly what he did with Ben. I did think, I don't care how dripped in sarcasm his comment was, some things you just don't say. There was no need to be so crude and disgusting. He didn't say 'what if', he made a statement. If he was in an airport talking about having a bomb in his case, nobody would see the funny side and he'd be f*cked. Thanks for the comment, but i still think he breached a boundary of decency.
@Beatnuk Read it again. He made an announcement. He didn't suggest a scenario, he didn't ask what if, he stated what he would like to do. If he states what he did state, no wonder people are angry, regardless of whether anybody else views his comment as sarcasm or not.
he announced that he agrees with Ben - there should be no laws - therefore he should have the right to rape 10 year old girls, murder and steal with no consequences...
Wow.
SARCASM. The ability to READ BETWEEN THE LINES.
Fuck, this is a waste of time. I'm not gonna think FOR you. I'm suggesting that there MIGHT be a little bit more meaning to his comment than what your knee-jerk perception grasped.
@Beatnuk The part of his comment where he agrees with Ben is the only part which pertains to sarcasm. I have no desire for you or anyone else to think FOR me. I didn't like his comment, and I don't appear to be alone. Peace
@eml1909 common sense says you can't, common law. if 12 randomly picked people of the land agree that you can have sex with 10 year olds and steal off your neighbor then you would have a point...however they wouldn't. people like you are why statutes and government exist...you can't think for yourself.
I have thought about this to, and I hear what what you are saying...however to be free you need to get out of the system/city or have a lot of money.I don`t think any society is free or ever will be.And the part is finding how much it cost you to live in a society and if you think that is a cost you are willing to pay.
There is such a thing as GUIDING PRINCIPLES encoded into Nature, we might call them Natural Law, and it is enforced by a guidance system both internal and external. People have no way of even comprehending there being such a thing, they think that the ENTIRE WORLD AS WE SEE IT is a result of us having a STATE and LAW and a TECHNOCRACY to govern us and take care of us. We carry a subconscious belief that it is somehow "right" for others to "own" us and our life in this way.
the problems you are addressing can never be solved by constructing social control systems such as LAW and POLICE governed according to a STATE. Although the police are doing much good in terms of protecting citizens from predators in our society, no law has ever seriously questioned WHY these forms of behavior exists in human society at all. The rampant crime are symptoms of psychological dis-ease in people brought on by the dehumanized world in which we find ourselves.
@eml1909 If you want to have sex with 10 year old girls, then something is wrong with you. I have no desire to steal my neighbors money; I'd hate for them to do the same to me. It's not law that curtails me, it's my inherent sense of right and wrong. You've kind of missed the point of what Ben is saying. To use extremes to illustrate your argument makes your argument sound retarded. I'm not saying you're retarded; you just sound silly. Ben, don't call him a retard.
@benlowreyhimself Eml1909 happens to be a friend despite being a barrister ! Although the tone of his comment was cutting, he was making a serious point and calling him a retard seems rather futile when you have an opportunty to share your message to those outside of your normal viewers. I would also like to hear a response to his point
@spiritualentertainer It's not a serious point. He's missing the point. He's probably attacking Ben because Ben's exposing the coercive, extortive and violent nature of the system, that this barrister, makes a good living off of.
@WeAreChangeTelford He is a personal friend and whilst I have told him many times that his profitting fromthe system skews his views, he is being honest here and even if HE himself is doing whatever, his questions are valid and need answering in my opinion.
And to top it he seems to have been blocked. Personally I would only block someone if they were being systematically abusive
@spiritualentertainer We could encourage Ben and eml1909 to have a Skype discussion. If would make a good interview and get plenty of views. It may incourage others inside the system to communicate with us.
@spiritualentertainer but danny if he was a barrister he would have known he meant statute forced on you ,along with the harm injury loss trinity .....respects but Mr,shine i see your point aswell ....how do we escape barbarism .as most are just looking for a get out of jail free card.....keep up the good work mateHAPPY NEW YEAR HUGS andy
A real society is supposed to include everyone of us, and should accept, cherish the amazing palette of our true colors. A government can only see shades of grey, it doesn't like bright colors.
Imagine the painting if everyone of us could put a touch of our colors on the canvas of the universe....
No problem. Sorry if I came was too harsh and douchebaggy before, but your questions sounded more provocative and outraged than genuinely interested.
My answer would be the people who are actually interested in using the services. The difference is that government doesn't give you the choice to say no.
Even the biggest corporations will give you the choice to starve to death. For governments to exist, your death is not enough - government needs slavery to exist.
Hmm... I apologize to you. I think I was a too offensive in my previous post and I was wrong to call your legitimate questions a "strawman". I should have read your post better before replying. Sorry about that. I still hope my answers were helpful.
@Arashmickey I'm sorry I can't see what I posted here anymore, I wonder if it's been deleted? I can't think of any good reason why anyone would do that...
Yes, that's interesting - I can't see it either. There's also no "comment removed" to your name. Who knows? Maybe it's a bug.
Judging from my knee-jerk response earlier, your noted that a voluntary society could get taken over by a violent society. It's a common objection, and since there's no definitive answer that includes all possible scenarios there's a lot of good discussion on the topic. For some reason (which I should to reflect upon), I got annoyed and snappy, sorry again.
Says the violence that's going to overcome you when victims band against you out of legitimate self-defence, without interference of false authority. Oh did you want to start a gang? Violent gangs eventually turn against their leaders and themselves, then starve, disband and subjugate themselves in the shadow of efficient, productive and powerful voluntary society.
Who is more willing, capable and creative in fighting? A population of willing fighters or a population of slaves driven to battle by the lash whips? Which is easier to occupy? A population that accepts government, or a population that strongly resists any and types of oppression and coercion?
When you argue against anarchism and in favor of your existing system of coercion, you've already lost the battle and your imaginary invasions. That strawman scares only you.
Hi Danny. let me be clear so there is no doubt in your mind. yes i blocked him and i don't care what anybody thinks about it. I do what i want on my channel. I am not generally open to discussion i express my views and that's it. i only discuss subject matter i never give consideration to feedback about my attitude so i don't care what anybody think about who i block
@eml1909 Having sex with 10 year old girls, stealing money from your neighbours and murdering people who annoys you comes down to exactly what he is talking about. You are forcing your will onto others. In future, please spend just 1 minute pondering the subject before jumping on your keyboard.
Damn Ben, absolutely. You and I and a lot of others feel the same way. We all should give up our Citizenship..............forever. Free people on the land as it was meant to be.
Understanding British Admiralty Law, and the Accepted for Value Process, have been a god sent, for me and my friends. Ben thank you I learned so much from you, and now I teach others. I have been "Accepted for Value" everything that came in mail, all year, and now hardly anything comes in my mail, so I have to beg my friends to let my Discharge their debt. One girl has a 45k credit card, I'm trying to talk her in to letting me get at it.
Ahhh...Mr. Lowry...but you see, you DID volunteer and agree. After all...Silence = Consent, that is the legal law after all. And by not speaking LAW that you are NOT a part of it...it is, by legal law, assumed and presumed you DO agree and consent. These are not "general contracts", they are SPECIFIC "contracts of instance", with each agent/officer of the corporation(s) that you meet. YOU estoppel YOURSELF...the agent/officer...he is only being nice and offering a chance to contract with him.
@TheCaptainSlappy RIght, because there is a presupposed legitimacy on the officer's side where he could instead just be an asshole and demand your compliance. Dude, look into your premises, here. You're completely begging the question. He's not discussing legalistic jibberish like all that, he's addressing facts and ethics. Who cares what the statutes or maxims say or don't say? Is there an iminant threat of violence if you don't comply? Then all else is a side-show distraction.
Spot on Ben and in my opinion nearly exactly the same as I see this crazy war mongering you must comply system. I'm over half way through my life on earth mate and I only wish I had woken up to this slave reality years ago. Ben keep up the great work keep being as polite as you are and keep smiling. I write this on the last evening of 2011 (even though time is an illusion?) so on that note I send my sincere best wishes for 2012 and may peace, love and prosperity be with you always. regards Fonz
their law, is, only STATUTE, CODES or ACTS.My first clue to all this...um, hocus-pocus, was in the Naming nomenclature Itself, "They" don't even call it Law, by name... has government, Created any of us? I only answer to my Creator; I'm like Frankenstein, did he answer to the town or it's judges nope; He was out law & within an entirely different jurisdiction.
Since we have created government, are we not Master over that, which we have created or has the world somehow been turned on Its head?
It's actually somewhat easy to bypass them and live outside the rules. You do need to conform somewhat with the drivers license and things. But I know plenty of people who do what they want. The smart play is to stay under the radar and Mind your P's and Q's, To use the vernacular : )
I remember questioning the whole idea of government at the age of 12, this was before the mass indoctrination through school and entertaiment, before having the mind moulded and tricked into believing that this system is beneficial to all. The government are gangsters, it's pay me or else.
The illusion is only made possible through money, It's what most people worry about on a daily basis. Focus on helping each other, step away from the system, I have!
@jillh10 tanks for your interest. I stopped using money. I work for people not corporations and i have been doing this for 5 or so months. I have no passport or driving license nor banks or credit cards. I am free, with money you are always tied in.
@1PHILLWHITE thats fantastic I think im a bit passed it to change much more now but I do admire you for doing what you have done happy new year to you and yours
We need to change perceptions, most of society and law is only so because its perceived to be so, if its no longer perceived by a critical mass of the population to be so anymore then it is not so and thats how change happens imo.
The 'freeman movement' or whatever you want to call this has already sown a seed to change perception of law but a seed takes time to germinate, in the mean time we need to keep watering it.
Great video Ben I agree with you 100%... I've studied the UCC redemption process a bit but really I find it all a wee bit confusing, not sure which way to go with it...

government was a/is a good idea.but what kind of government? that is the question ..if we all went back to nature then its mass death for the elderly sick and infants god forbid,,its the corruption that were seeing coming to light.this is a very old argument that will not be solved until we are all educated away from barbaric behaviour.its this written code taking rule over law that is the problem and it is most definatly by design..there will always be greedy people.i dont mind chipping in

Plus.....

@masterchrisd
He didn't announce it. Think a little bit, dude. This type of non-commmunication is what creates the very illusory divisions between us. Everybody is turning onto JUDGING others based on what they "think" the other ones meant without further investigating or asking.
Beatnuk 1 month ago
@Beatnuk That's exactly what he did with Ben. I did think, I don't care how dripped in sarcasm his comment was, some things you just don't say. There was no need to be so crude and disgusting. He didn't say 'what if', he made a statement. If he was in an airport talking about having a bomb in his case, nobody would see the funny side and he'd be f*cked. Thanks for the comment, but i still think he breached a boundary of decency.
masterchrisd 1 month ago
@Beatnuk Read it again. He made an announcement. He didn't suggest a scenario, he didn't ask what if, he stated what he would like to do. If he states what he did state, no wonder people are angry, regardless of whether anybody else views his comment as sarcasm or not.
silverriderchannel 1 month ago
@silverriderchannel
he announced that he agrees with Ben - there should be no laws - therefore he should have the right to rape 10 year old girls, murder and steal with no consequences...
Wow.
SARCASM. The ability to READ BETWEEN THE LINES.
Fuck, this is a waste of time. I'm not gonna think FOR you. I'm suggesting that there MIGHT be a little bit more meaning to his comment than what your knee-jerk perception grasped.
"no wonder people are angry".
It's projecting.
Beatnuk 1 month ago
@Beatnuk The part of his comment where he agrees with Ben is the only part which pertains to sarcasm. I have no desire for you or anyone else to think FOR me. I didn't like his comment, and I don't appear to be alone. Peace

@eml1909 common sense says you can't, common law. if 12 randomly picked people of the land agree that you can have sex with 10 year olds and steal off your neighbor then you would have a point...however they wouldn't. people like you are why statutes and government exist...you can't think for yourself.

Beatnuk 1 month ago
@eml1909
the problems you are addressing can never be solved by constructing social control systems such as LAW and POLICE governed according to a STATE.

A real society is supposed to include everyone of us, and should accept, cherish the amazing palette of our true colors. A government can only see shades of grey, it doesn't like bright colors.
Imagine the painting if everyone of us could put a touch of our colors on the canvas of the universe....

@eml1909

@Arashmickey I'm sorry I can't see what I posted here anymore, I wonder if it's been deleted? I can't think of any good reason why anyone would do that...
soundkartel 1 month ago
@soundkartel
Arashmickey 1 month ago
Says the violence that's going to overcome you when victims band against you out of legitimate self-defence, without interference of false authority. Oh did you want to start a gang? Violent gangs eventually turn against their leaders and themselves, then starve, disband and subjugate themselves in the shadow of efficient, productive and powerful voluntary society.
Arashmickey 1 month ago
@soundkartel
Self-defence?
Who is more willing, capable and creative in fighting? A population of willing fighters or a population of slaves driven to battle by the lash whips? Which is easier to occupy? A population that accepts government, or a population that strongly resists any and types of oppression and coercion?
When you argue against anarchism and in favor of your existing system of coercion, you've already lost the battle and your imaginary invasions. That strawman scares only you.

CooperJones2001 1 month ago
TheCaptainSlappy 1 month ago
@TheCaptainSlappy RIght, because there is a presupposed legitimacy on the officer's side where he could instead just be an asshole and demand your compliance. Dude, look into your premises, here. You're completely begging the question. He's not discussing legalistic jibberish like all that, he's addressing facts and ethics. Who cares what the statutes or maxims say or don't say? Is there an iminant threat of violence if you don't comply? Then all else is a side-show distraction.

Spot on Ben and in my opinion nearly exactly the same as I see this crazy war mongering you must comply system. their law, is, only STATUTE, CODES or ACTS.My first clue to all this...um, hocus-pocus, was in the Naming nomenclature Itself, "They" don't even call it Law, by name... has government, Created any of us? I only answer to my Creator; I'm like Frankenstein, did he answer to the town or it's judges nope; He was out law & within an entirely different jurisdiction.
Since we have created government, are we not Master over that, which we have created or has the world somehow been turned on Its head?

as Buddah said perception is the world.
