While my GMs and Dodges have lasted twice what my Fords have. 600K on a couple of my Dodges, you just can't kill a Dodge. Dodge reliability ratings were twice as good as Fords until 2004 when Ford finally stepped it up a little bit, but still Ford struggles big time.

He has owned fords, dodges, and chevys in the past, but today, he will say that he wouldnt but nothing but a ford or dodge. Ive never had any oil prblems with my dodge at all and ive out pulled a many of trucks and out ran even more. My buddy got a ford with the 5.4, nothing but problems, spark plugs done blown out, stalling out and its a automatic, several elctrical problems, etc.

ill say this.. i have a ext cab 2000 F150 4.6 5 speed my buddy has a 99 ram 1500 with 318 and 5 speed. it wont hold a light to my ford past 40mph his dads 2500 hemi 5 speed gats me on take of too but if you have ever dove one 1st gear is like stupid low so he always pulls out in second. mine is geared high 5th at not even 1/8th throttle in my truck is about 120+

@NissanTy Agreed. I think those years of Dodge and Ford looked fairly similar though, the newer F150s are pretty different looking, they look a tad more "polished" and less rowdy though. Both look great, both are great trucks.
@NissanTy I think those years look great too. I just don't like the wheel clearance on them, with a 6 inch lift you're kinda pushing it with 35s, where as on my Dodge I'm clearing 37s with room to spare.

Yeah ive replaced my tranny, but guess what, over 200,000 miles on it and used to pull a lot of crap, dodge also had problems with rear ends, mine is howling, but it still pulls a 40 foot trailer used to haul mud race trucks. My chevy i have always floods or never get enough gas and has several elctrical problems. the ford has a oil leak and belts squek and it knocks. the tranny in it is ready to go out any minute. both has been rebuilt in the ford

@codbigredone2 kid, we owned alot of Ford's we aint even had problems with til we got the shit fuck Dodges. you just got a bad truck or just dont know how to take care of em. i know so, my dad used to work at GMC for Chevy and Ponitac, he rather take a Ford or Chevy over a Dodge. like i said above, you might just got a bad truck, good and bad in every one of em, just gotta find the good ones. a Dodge bein 9 times in the shop for the tranny and oil, Ford or Chevy havent unless it was a used one

He has owned fords, dodges, and chevys in the past, but today, he will say that he wouldnt but nothing but a ford or dodge. Ive never had any oil prblems with my dodge at all and ive out pulled a many of trucks and out ran even more. My buddy got a ford with the 5.4, nothing but problems, spark plugs done blown out, stalling out and its a automatic, several elctrical problems, etc.

The Econoline has been the best selling van for the last 30 years, yet is scheduled to be discontinued in 2014 - to be replaced by an underpowered, wimpy-looking, Ford van designed for the European market. my point exactly ford sucks for performance have you also noticed the lightnings arent just V8s they are SUPERCHARGED V8s i love it when people speak of lightnings as being better with "just" a v8 and forget the supercharger and say theyll match em evenly (same class) with the rams and silverados when its gotta S/C fords gotta S/C dodge has a V10 lol it stopped ford from making lightnings anymore cuz they couldnt keep up u match a f150 vs ram/silverado equal mods the f150 always loses

ill say this.. i have a ext cab 2000 F150 4.6 5 speed my buddy has a 99 ram 1500 with 318 and 5 speed. it wont hold a light to my ford past 40mph his dads 2500 hemi 5 speed gats me on take of too but if you have ever dove one 1st gear is like stupid low so he always pulls out in second. mine is geared high 5th at not even 1/8th throttle in my truck is about 120+

@NissanTy Agreed. I think those years of Dodge and Ford looked fairly similar though, the newer F150s are pretty different looking, they look a tad more "polished" and less rowdy though. Both look great, both are great trucks.

@NissanTy I think those years look great too. I just don't like the wheel clearance on them, with a 6 inch lift you're kinda pushing it with 35s, where as on my Dodge I'm clearing 37s with room to spare.
