Ford gives no service, honors no warranty and lies about it. According to their customer services you have to: change tires every 12,000, change shocks every 6,000, align the car every 6,000 and change oil every 3,000. Yokohama gives 72,000 to their tires. Don;t buy Ford.
@vidpop You are so wrong about rust on Focus and Mondeo's ... the cars from te sixties were quite good protected - we are rebuilding them now ;-) over 40years from build... Mustangs, Mk1 Capri's, Escorts ..... cars from the 80's were bad - Fiestas, Escorts FWD and Sierras - almost all are gone now ... the cars from the 90-ties such as Mk3 Fiesta or Mk5 Escort were totally crap when it comes to rust !
I currently own a highly tuned Civic Type-R but I'll never forget my first 2 cars. Ford Sierras! If I could fins a decent 1983-84 XR4 in Twin-tone Red/Grey, I'd seriously selling my Civic and going retro. The Ford Sierra is a beautiful car and a modern classic.
