America are you ready to get nuked? Keep silent about our backing of Israel & we will get nuked. Speak up! Israel took land illegally. They are oppressors just like USA. Is this ok with you? I'm mad as hell. Aren't you? We are the bullies in the world. Wars are about power, greed, corruption, corporatism, imperialism(esp for US). Time to research best countries to live in because it sure isn't the USA anymore!
Why is he giving a speech to an Israeli lobbyist group? They have their hand in all US decisions regarding the Middle East & in particular Israel? 9/11 was brought to us because of our backing of Israel. Israel benefited economically because of the Gulf War. They have been getting us to do their dirty work. To hell with Israel! Let them fight their own wars. They mean nothing to us as they are a constant drain on us.I ask Israel what have you done for me lately? We send them 8 million per day!
Now that he's bowing to the altar of aipac, we should start calling him McObush. Do you really think he can win a U.S. election without doing this??? Also, what a hypocrite, after saying he would not wear a U.S. Flag Pin, he now wears an Israel/American Flag Pin. Yet his Obamabot followers are still blindly supporting him.
Barack wants to put a 0.7% tax on the US GDP and pay it to the UN. If you think the UN is great, watch John Pilger's "Paying The Price: Killing the Children of Iraq"
Sad to see that all Politicians are the same.Whether its Bush, McCain, Hillary or Obama, they all have their own interests to protect and not the people who voted for them.
Like he's supporting the FISA bill no one thought he would support. Give me a break. He supported the Reauth of The Patriot Act as well.
If he was really what you think he is, the corporate media wouldn't have covered him. They didn't cover Dennis Kucinich because he would have kicked some corporate ass . . . most dems went along with it though, which is sad.
In fact, Obama has proposed a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq: "He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months." (from his website).
I also feel like Aijaz Ahmad ignored Obama's criticism of Israel in the speech, he explicitly called for the withdrawal of settlers and reduction of checkpoints, citing UN resolutions on Israel which the US govt has previously ignored.
At least Obama isn't singing "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran"
It is very nice that you are standing up for your hero Obama.....
BUT you are so blinded by his "charisma" that you fail to see the inconsistencies in a person who says he will withdraw from one battle front AND THEN also says a different battle front is needed.
Obama doesn't want to end the war, he just want to relocate it.
Dude he doesn't say he's going to blow up Iran... he says that military action is possible given a particular set of circumstances- like Iran launches an attack on Israel, the USA or another ally in the region. He has NEVER said he'd support any kind of "preemptive" military action, and the commentator here is intentionally misleading. Obama has NOT given up his idea of unconditional presidential talks; he has qualified them, quite lightly by insisting there be an itinerary and other preparation
It's just laughable what Obama says. Iran attacking Israel? LOL - Israel has 150 atombombs, a military that is multiple times stronger than Irans - and backing from the US. They would be insane to attack.
As for the rest: If you starve the population to death by sanctions, and at the same time hold constant military threat... well I don't call that real diplomacy.
Obama wants to escalate, not deescalate.
And are you in any way surprised that Iran wants an atombomb themselves?
What's the difference? why is that important anyway ? Both McCain and Obama have the same views towards Iran, both of them will invade Iran just to please Israel.
yeah the south is a little sociopathic. Many missing screws... I've lived here for 2 years now and all that talk about southern hospitality is bullshit. Complete bullshit.

Every major candidate is a member of the CFR. Once again, Washington presents us with the illusion of change. The CFR's goals are aligned with the Trilateral Commission's, the dissolution of our nation's sovereignty. Their goal is to bankrupt us through war and privatize everything. America will be for sale. The IMF and World Bank rob a nation's resources, culture, and cash all the time. Their goal is grotesque hegemony -- an "elite" multinational's playground.
I never doubted that he would betray us. There is only one party in the USA and it is the war party with different factions. His controller zbigniew brezinski has always felt Iraq was the wrong war. Obama never threatened military action, he merely said in a tough manner he'd take nothing of the table, nothing of the table, nothing. Which makes sense. But rest assured he has good judgment. Tough talk does not mean hasty, impulse actions. This guy has no clue.
when you are running for president after the WORST PRESIDENT IN US HISTORY-who preemptively went into war and fucked our country up and fucked up MY FUTURE-YOU HAVE AN OBLIGATION as the opposition to be opposed to this! Where is the opposition? IT DOESNT EXIST!
Is this clip news? I think it is an editorial. Why are Obama's position better than McCain's? He didn't explain why. This is basically an opinion editiorial, not a news. It should be labeled as such.
A week ago they loved Obama. Since Obama supported AIPAC and the por-Israel lobby in the US, they hate him as much as they hated Hillary during the primaries. Who are they going to support? Bob Barr?
they are reporting an important change in obamas policy. Thats why this is news. In every country other than the U.S. they would see it as news and they would consider this an important piece of news.
The fact that he changed his position, which, by the way, he had a year ago (3:19-3:21), or that he simply stated what he always believed, but we didn't know much about it, is newsworthy, but the inclusion of personal opinions and dichotomy between good and bad are purely editorial. Since his positions were on the table a year ago, then this speech isn't even news.
Why is he saying that Obama's positions are better than McCain (1:05-1:11)? In what sense? Because he's less supportive of Israel and Zionism when compared to McCain and American Christian fundamentalists?
Ron Paul? He's a right-winger on economic things. I think the real progressives went with Kucinich and the Greens and some confused ones go with Paul and Obama.
Mike Gravel = awesome. screw Ron Paul. That dude is all free markets this and free markets that.
I love free markets, but our entire infrastructure shouldn't be based on that because in theory yes people will always strive for the best, but in reality companies do what's best for profit, and half assing and being inefficient helps you make profit then you do it. 19th century early 20th. LEarn people learn!! you don't do the same shit that fucked us over and hope that it turns out differently.
The best example of pure economic liberalism at work is found in the works of Charles Dickens. Without government interventions humans are no better than lions in the jungle. It is pure natural selection and survival of the fittest. Orphans and widows begging for money on the streets, child labor and exploitation galore. People are too stupid. If they could only read.
Ron Paul wants free markets, but the most important thing is that he wants to follow the Constitution!!! This means that he wouldn't just start wars without the support of Congress and the people.
He won't take any of your rights away.
He won't police the world .
He won't use federal funds (or loans from China) to fight a "war on drugs".
He will get out of peoples way and let the state deal with state issues. Most importantly he won't waste tons of money on "wars" and he is honest.
ron pauls about racist newsletters and outlandish conspiracies and teaching young conservatives how to blame the sick and the poor. nothing substantial
First of all those letters were written in the 90s and there isn't really any proof to show that he wrote them. I'm sure you will say he is lying but even if he was, it's about something that happened ten years ago and won't really affect his presidency. He is against gay marriage yet he said that gays should be allowed to marry because it's not his or the federal government's job to stop them.
This lie is nothing compared to Obama claiming his uncle liberated Auschwitz and that's a proven lie
the 90's oh yea what a defense. that was So Long ago. sheesh. is that the best excuse you can come up with for a news letter published IN HIS name (regardless of whether he wrote them or not) that called MLK a pedophile, and told Al Sharpton to change New Yorks Name to "zooville" or "welfaria" and to have his next protest at the food stamp bureau?
he admitted that he read them on CNN.
"did you used to read these things congressman?"
"yes, I was traveling the country. I was giving speeches"
Well because you clearly misunderstood what Dr. Paul said on CNN on a video I JUST watched, I will assume you are wrong on the rest of your points unless you provide some links as proof.
he admitted that he read them on CNN.
"did you used to read these things congressman?"
"yes, I was traveling the country. I was giving speeches
Wrong, he said he only read some on occasion and did not read most of them because he was busy giving speeches and traveling. If you can't understand those words...
So he used to read racist sexist news letters on occasion!? the point is he READ THEM and he admitted to it. christ whats with you fuckers?? He could have human sacrifices but as long as he only did it "on occasion" then you guys would be fine with it!
Sorry, Youtube glitched and I posted an incomplete response.
I'm sorry but you are just incorrect.
Blitzer: "Did you used to read these newsletters? Congressman?"
Ron Paul: "Not back then, there might have been times, I would, at times, but I was in a medical practice...I traveled a lot, I was doing speeches around the country. So very frequently I never did see these. As a matter of fact some of the things you just read, I wouldn't have recognized them."
"I would have human sacrifices at times. but I was in a medical practice...I traveled a lot, I was doing speeches around the country. So very frequently I never did see these. As a matter of fact some of the things you just read, I wouldn't have recognized them."
You are incorrect at this point, you apparently saw the video yet heard the opposite of what Ron Paul said. For this reason I don't believe you have the capacity to understand the argument OR make a valid stance.
Try to use your head man. If he only read this newsletter on occasion (which means mostly he didn't) it would mean that he had a good chance of never reading the racist stuff.
The real point is that he says he isn't a racist, no one that knows him could imagine him a racist (Blitzer says this himself). His policy do not indicate him as racist, and actually help minorities a LOT and they are supporting him because of this.
So... what is your problem? Let it go it is no longer an issue.
on occasion means on occasion. He says he's not a racist. then whats he doing having racists on his writing staff? He went to ghetysburg college, he's a congressman from texas, he's quoted saying that young black males should be tried as adults, He says its ok to be hostile towards latin Americans, He sells conpiracies with his cohort Alex Jones about the NAU, what more evidence is needed to show how much of a racist kook the old bag is?
1. Already explained, he may not have known about the racists on his staff, he didn't even know names or read articles more than occasionally.
2.Where he is from does not make him racist.
3.Show me a racist quote from him, show me a racist clip from him. You can make up a quote but you won't find any clips.
4. He doesn't "sell" conspiracies... He just shows evidence of the changes that are coming and quotes people like Bush senior and one can only assume a NAU us possible in the future...
Oldhacks you just seem to mainly make things up and not give any proof. I'm sure you and others can easily make up quotes from people, I could do it too. Candidates are always subject to this garbage, but the fact is that Ron Paul claims he isn't a racist, people who know him say he isn't a racist and he does not have policies that would indicate racism.
Why are there numerous black people on Youtube with well thought out reasons to support him?
Your real problem with Ron Paul is you don't like him, not because he is racist, but probably because of all of the conspiracies you have heard about and think he supports.
Our policies are moving towards a NAU. He points this out and you throw a fit and say he is crazy. He didn't say evil people are taking over the continent, just that there will be change
his position on immigrants is racist. He took money from skin head groups and even has a popular skinhead leader as one of his campaign organizers. Randy Grey I believe his name is. He published those news letters in his name for DECADES. Like I said, you'll excuse anything as long as he comes up with some pale excuse as to why it happened.
I've got all the evidence anyone would ever need to see. You're just in denial.
and we're all the descendants of "illegals" if you wanna go down that road. We don't need to secure the border we need to secure our identity but Ron Paul's against making a better ID card cuz him and his followers are fucking clods.
not that many black people support him. the ones that do are just naive and lonely. As are most Paul supporters.
He's against the civil rights act! thats a racist policy. He voted against Rosa Parks receiving a gold medal. thats racist. He voted against aid for Katrina victims. thats racist.
I also don't know what you mean about him blaming the sick and the poor. I have no idea what you are trying to say. All Paul wants to do is restore the Constitution and follow it 100%. That is what made this country great in the first place and it worked for hundreds of years and we should follow it and make this country great again.
all his followers have this sick notion that health care is a privilege and that people that need government programs are stealing from the middle class. It's typical white bred free loader bullshit.
follow the constitution? you mean where it says "all legislative powers reside in the congress" meaning they can do whatever the hell they want as long as they have a 2/3rd majority going along with it? yea that constitution really keeps us safe from corporate abuses don't it.
and what about slavery? did the constitution grant them any rights? thats what made this country rich in the first place. Not the constitution. it was FREE LABOR on the backs of innocent black people forced to live in huts and eat peanuts.
yea but now he's started this fucking "campaign for liberty" so he can just keep grooming his flock of degenerate freeloaders till the end of fucking time. Ron Paul, a corporate fascist in liberal clothing
Obama said that in the first 6 months of taking office, he will begin a phased withdrawal. He said he was going to have the troops out of Iraq by no later than 16 months of his taking office.
I wonder why is it so difficult for people to understand that it's difficult to be extremely precise about really grey and tough issues like Iraq and Iran.
That why at times the news should be left to real, skilled journalists.
Isreal and its lobbyists have such a stranglehold on America and its people that no president can get elected unless he or she vows support for Isreal and its policies.
Every American President HAS TO blindly support Israel, or he would not be allowed to become President; He has to give them billions of tax dollars and arms as 'loans and aid', but which is never required to be paid back.
(He and his pals do get a kickback).
Obama is having to do the same. I hope it's just an act to win, and afterwards he will try to be fair and just.
Pandering is what John McCain does. Obama shows flexibility, something you would expect from someone smart. McCain doesn't even know the difference between Shia and Sunni. Got that?
"Progressives: didn't elect this candidate, so that's a mistake right there.
Obama comes out of popularity, not a specific agenda. Just because a party has progressive leanings doesn't mean it won't appeal to the masses in order to get the popular vote. That's called politics...
If "Progressives" wanted a candidate they would have picked someone like Kucinich.
Personally, I know a lot of people who agree with the progressive agenda who are falling for this guy's shit. I'm not blaming progressives for nominating him, but I was merely just mentioning this to progressives since it seems to go against most of their agenda.
the jews have vetted obama and he's now AIPAC-approved. they were a little worried about him for a while but he flip flopped to embrace Zion. nothing surprising since there has never been any open electoral vote for any policy toward Israel. Obama is a vile charlatan.
OMG Obama went mad ffs Israeli is the fucking devil him self this stupid asshole dont know Israeli or hes one off them and hes jew ..

he dropped out of the race. didnt you see his announcement on myspace? it breaks my heart to see that.
ashputtel 3 years ago
Yes I saw that and it is unfortunate. I was just trying to clear up what Ron Paul is really about. Maybe he will run again in a few years.
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
Right now it looks like our choices are Bob Barr, and Ralph Nader.
I've heard some posts for Chuck Baldwin, but I fear he will split the Ron Paul vote so we will get tuck with Obama or McCain.

ron pauls about racist newsletters and outlandish conspiracies and teaching young conservatives how to blame the sick and the poor. nothing substantial
oldhacks 3 years ago
First of all those letters were written in the 90s and there isn't really any proof to show that he wrote them. I'm sure you will say he is lying but even if he was, it's about something that happened ten years ago and won't really affect his presidency. He is against gay marriage yet he said that gays should be allowed to marry because it's not his or the federal government's job to stop them.
This lie is nothing compared to Obama claiming his uncle liberated Auschwitz and that's a proven lie
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
the 90's oh yea what a defense. that was So Long ago. sheesh. is that the best excuse you can come up with for a news letter published IN HIS name (regardless of whether he wrote them or not) that called MLK a pedophile, and told Al Sharpton to change New Yorks Name to "zooville" or "welfaria" and to have his next protest at the food stamp bureau?
he admitted that he read them on CNN.
"did you used to read these things congressman?"
"yes, I was traveling the country. I was giving speeches"
oldhacks 3 years ago
Well because you clearly misunderstood what Dr. Paul said on CNN on a video I JUST watched, I will assume you are wrong on the rest of your points unless you provide some links as proof.
he admitted that he read them on CNN.
"did you used to read these things congressman?"
"yes, I was traveling the country. I was giving speeches
Wrong, he said he only read some on occasion and did not read most of them because he was busy giving speeches and traveling. If you can't understand those words...
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
wtf? Wolf Blitzer asked him if he used to read them and he said YES! whats to be misunderstood?
oldhacks 3 years ago
He said he read them on occasion but he frequently never even saw them...
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
So he used to read racist sexist news letters on occasion!? the point is he READ THEM and he admitted to it. christ whats with you fuckers?? He could have human sacrifices but as long as he only did it "on occasion" then you guys would be fine with it!
oldhacks 3 years ago
I'm sorry but you are just inncorrect
Did you used to read these newslettere
Not back then, there might have been times I would at times, but I was in a medicle practive...
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
Sorry, Youtube glitched and I posted an incomplete response.
I'm sorry but you are just incorrect.
Blitzer: "Did you used to read these newsletters? Congressman?"
Ron Paul: "Not back then, there might have been times, I would, at times, but I was in a medical practice...I traveled a lot, I was doing speeches around the country. So very frequently I never did see these. As a matter of fact some of the things you just read, I wouldn't have recognized them."
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
"I would have human sacrifices at times. but I was in a medical practice...I traveled a lot, I was doing speeches around the country. So very frequently I never did see these. As a matter of fact some of the things you just read, I wouldn't have recognized them."
oldhacks 3 years ago
Now I will BACK UP my statement WITH PROOF. Something that most people I argue with never understand they need to do.
/watch?v=u39z38xjraw
At 7:45 my quote starts.
You are incorrect at this point, you apparently saw the video yet heard the opposite of what Ron Paul said. For this reason I don't believe you have the capacity to understand the argument OR make a valid stance.
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
Try to use your head man. If he only read this newsletter on occasion (which means mostly he didn't) it would mean that he had a good chance of never reading the racist stuff.
The real point is that he says he isn't a racist, no one that knows him could imagine him a racist (Blitzer says this himself). His policy do not indicate him as racist, and actually help minorities a LOT and they are supporting him because of this.
So... what is your problem? Let it go it is no longer an issue.
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
on occasion means on occasion. He says he's not a racist. then whats he doing having racists on his writing staff? He went to ghetysburg college, he's a congressman from texas, he's quoted saying that young black males should be tried as adults, He says its ok to be hostile towards latin Americans, He sells conpiracies with his cohort Alex Jones about the NAU, what more evidence is needed to show how much of a racist kook the old bag is?
oldhacks 3 years ago
FalseShadowx 3 years ago 2
Oldhacks you just seem to mainly make things up and not give any proof. I'm sure you and others can easily make up quotes from people, I could do it too. Candidates are always subject to this garbage, but the fact is that Ron Paul claims he isn't a racist, people who know him say he isn't a racist and he does not have policies that would indicate racism.
If he hates minorities so much,
why would all of his policies help them?
Why do so many black people support him?
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
Why are there numerous black people on Youtube with well thought out reasons to support him?
Your real problem with Ron Paul is you don't like him, not because he is racist, but probably because of all of the conspiracies you have heard about and think he supports.
Our policies are moving towards a NAU. He points this out and you throw a fit and say he is crazy. He didn't say evil people are taking over the continent, just that there will be change
Show me some evidence or grow up and move on.
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
his position on immigrants is racist. He took money from skin head groups and even has a popular skinhead leader as one of his campaign organizers. Randy Grey I believe his name is. He published those news letters in his name for DECADES. Like I said, you'll excuse anything as long as he comes up with some pale excuse as to why it happened.
oldhacks 3 years ago
"his position on immigrants is racist"
You mean because he doesn't want illegal ones in our country and wants our boarders secure? Well l guess lm racist too...
Like I said, you say things that other people have said about him and never offer any proof what so ever. I'm done arguing because you have nothing.
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
I've got all the evidence anyone would ever need to see. You're just in denial.
and we're all the descendants of "illegals" if you wanna go down that road. We don't need to secure the border we need to secure our identity but Ron Paul's against making a better ID card cuz him and his followers are fucking clods.
oldhacks 3 years ago
not that many black people support him. the ones that do are just naive and lonely. As are most Paul supporters.
He's against the civil rights act! thats a racist policy. He voted against Rosa Parks receiving a gold medal. thats racist. He voted against aid for Katrina victims. thats racist.
oldhacks 3 years ago
yea the NAU happened over a hundred years ago. It's called Manifest Destiny when we bought the south west from Mexico.
oldhacks 3 years ago
Bought? I think you need to read your history books, if you have any.
NathanZackery 3 years ago
I also don't know what you mean about him blaming the sick and the poor. I have no idea what you are trying to say. All Paul wants to do is restore the Constitution and follow it 100%. That is what made this country great in the first place and it worked for hundreds of years and we should follow it and make this country great again.
FalseShadowx 3 years ago
all his followers have this sick notion that health care is a privilege and that people that need government programs are stealing from the middle class. It's typical white bred free loader bullshit.
follow the constitution? you mean where it says "all legislative powers reside in the congress" meaning they can do whatever the hell they want as long as they have a 2/3rd majority going along with it? yea that constitution really keeps us safe from corporate abuses don't it.
oldhacks 3 years ago
and what about slavery? did the constitution grant them any rights? thats what made this country rich in the first place. Not the constitution. it was FREE LABOR on the backs of innocent black people forced to live in huts and eat peanuts.
oldhacks 3 years ago
yea but now he's started this fucking "campaign for liberty" so he can just keep grooming his flock of degenerate freeloaders till the end of fucking time. Ron Paul, a corporate fascist in liberal clothing

Obama said that in the first 6 months of taking office, he will begin a phased withdrawal. He said he was going to have the troops out of Iraq by no later than 16 months of his taking office.

Sounds familiar, as in Ron Paul.

I wonder why is it so difficult for people to understand that it's difficult to be extremely precise about really grey and tough issues like Iraq and Iran.
That why at times the news should be left to real, skilled journalists.
GotToPractise 3 years ago
For people like these, saying there's a plan isn't concrete enough, stating the plan isn't good enough, implementing a plan isn't going far enough.
GotToPractise 3 years ago
And this Obama guy was saying he was going to "change" Washington...
Keep financing terrorist regimes like Israel and keeping bases all over the world is NOT a CHANGE of Washington.
Obama, you sir are New World Order scum.

Time will tell.

Pandering is what John McCain does. Obama shows flexibility, something you would expect from someone smart. McCain doesn't even know the difference between Shia and Sunni. Got that?

Progressives - THIS is your candidate? You're being pandered to and then betrayed. Who knows if he'll get us into more wars.

"Progressives: didn't elect this candidate, so that's a mistake right there.
Obama comes out of popularity, not a specific agenda. Just because a party has progressive leanings doesn't mean it won't appeal to the masses in order to get the popular vote. That's called politics...
If "Progressives" wanted a candidate they would have picked someone like Kucinich.
oolong2 3 years ago
Personally, I know a lot of people who agree with the progressive agenda who are falling for this guy's shit. I'm not blaming progressives for nominating him, but I was merely just mentioning this to progressives since it seems to go against most of their agenda.
poop121 3 years ago
the jews have vetted obama and he's now AIPAC-approved. they were a little worried about him for a while but he flip flopped to embrace Zion. nothing surprising since there has never been any open electoral vote for any policy toward Israel. Obama is a vile charlatan.
