  • I call them bing bong bells.......lolol

  • 1 person plays the tri-toms.

  • I play drums and if it has 3,it is french toms with 4 it is quads with 5 it is quints and with 6 they are tenors

  • @BAdrumme or you can keep it simple and call em quads and maybe oneday grow up and be like tim jackson

  • i just found out that he is fat now that he's done with DCI. He's still effin awesome though!

  • @benmc12

ummm.... really??? have you seen a picture of him lately? he's skinny and I'm pretty sure that guy always will be...

  • hey is his grip good? i hold it like that on my right hand and im a snare player

  • @sumbooodeeee No, you shouldn't hold your sticks like that if you play snare. It's an excellent grip for tenors, but not for snare.

  • @TheLogan1156 im talking about just right hand? :/

  • @sumbooodeeee I know that. It's still not a good snare grip. Also, you can played matched on snare. =P

  • So where did the term "Battery" come from?

  • @samg701 From gun battery or weapon battery. An old term used for forts or artillery emplacements.

  • I really like how this has become a huge argument. get off of youtube and practice.

  • is it me or does the 3 drum look bigger than the 4 drum in this video at :22 .?

  • @robertthedrummer1 dude it does!!!!

  • HEY! LET'S POST ON A VIDEO FROM 2 YEARS AGO! YEAH!

  • STICK WITH QUADS :D

  • ewww hand transfer at 0:12 lol

  • Meh, im not really a fan of sextets for outdoor because of how the two spocks sound the same but indoor they sound really cool.

  • Damn, he tuned the fuck out of those drums

  • stupid ppl.....tenor drum is the name but if ur being specific then its quad tom for 4 quints for 5 and sextets for 6

  • I believe that they're called multi-tonal membranophones.

  • @TOOFUNKYYY Everyone... EVERYONE should call them multi-tonal membranophones. EVERYONE. all names are aside besides multi-tonal membranophones.

  • Hallelujah!

  • douche douche douche douche douche douche douche douche douche tim douche jackson douche is douche a douche douche.

  • @festereugene di he tak your spot on the drumline poor baby

  • you can hear the difference at around 19 seconds, theyre in natural set up

  • THE DRUMS ARE IN NATURAL SET UP!!! JESUS CHRIST THEY AREN'T GOING TO SWITCH THE DRUM 3 AND 4!!! Wanna know why? because it's NOT NATURAL!!!! there is no LOGICAL purpose for switching those drums. A quad player would have EXTREME difficulty getting used to that set up. Guys come on, think, listen, and see.

  • BD tune there tenors really high to begin with too. which lowers the rim of course. i dont think they'd keep the same heads on for too long. 3ish shows id think. maybe less.

  • look at the 3rd and 4th drums around the zones. they play them so hard and long that the drum head comes above the rim.

  • What peice is that and where can i get it?

  • its the angle of the lense, if you look close you'll see that the 3 looks really wide, because of how the lense curves at the end

  • Look at the drums.

at the end it looks like drum 1 and 4 are next to eachother and 2 and 3 are next to eachother

normally it would be 1-3 and 2-4

    or is it just me?

  • no you're right, thats very odd...

  • maybe an effect of the fish eye camera lens... but it definably look like it..

  • wait i saw no difference, where are you seeing the change in drum size?

  • okay now i see it but i think it might be the camera lens

  • it's the camera angle boy.

  • @billybear12345

Its the wide angle lens on the camera doing that.

  • did you see how hard he cranked those heads? no wonder they sound heavenly

  • i want him to tune are drumlines quads and snare

  • well everyone seems to know more of what your talking about when you say quads. plus everyone knows that we Quads are the most amazing section......period. go to a random crowd of people and play on a snare, then play on quads, everyone is gonna come to the quads.

  • well depending, you could be amazing at snare and they might come. if your just a hack on quads they will leave after not to long.

  • ..well no, the instrument that they really are is tenors, i look at "quads" as a nickname

  • agreed.

  • has that dude aged out yet?

  • U SRS?

  • not now. i didnt know cause i forget how young some people start DCI and i saw his 99 vid then i saw one from like 06. so iwas like WTF
