Do they REALLY have that crappy-music, blaring on the loudspeakers?!...competing with the engine notes...which everyone is there to hear. THAT would 'ave put me off me beer!
This is just incredible! Those races had to be sooo much more exciting than today... I just love this sounds. And as for the Jags - I doubt they're V12. I'm not an expert of any kind but they look like the very first gen, and these were only straight six as far as I know.
@cobrafan427 With the Jag, it depends which class it is racing under, but the V12 was only fitted from '71 onwards and unless it qualified as a prototype or something like that it is probably a 6 cyl engine. But they do sound great anyway, and the most popular ones to race are the Lightweight E-Types. They often win at Goodwood. ;-)
@cobrafan427 No, one is a Lightweight (Or perhaps the Low Drag, but that's highly unlikely) and one looks like a Series I Coupè. Both shared the I6 Jaguar XK engine, albeit the Lightweight's had a smaller displacement, 3.0 litres compared to the 3.8 of the roadgoing car. The 5.3 litres Jaguar V12 Engine was introduced with the Series 3 in '71 - and it powered many E-Types and XJS that raced and met success at the Bathurst 1000km.

@mantheyracing1996 yes but towards the very end of the E-Type's life
('71-'75), they were produced w/ a 5.3L V12. I'm just unsure whether they raced V12 fitted cars or not

@cobrafan427 I'm pretty sure those older Jaguars had inline six powerplants.
