I can say that it is very true that South Carolina instigated the war, and were in truth directly and indirectly responsible for all the deaths that happened afterward, this is an unavoidable truth, and the fact that they were led by the plantation owners in this and then in states like Tenn, ignored the popular opinion, which they were unable to do in Ky, makes it even more of a rich man's war and a poor man's fight.

The North instigated War because Lincoln and his cabinet ordered the hostile invasion. Think out side the box you dummy. Quit referring to Ken Burns and James McPherson for all your history.

It is not true that Ken Burns does not mention Sherman's March to the sea. Whoever wrote the script to this video obviously did not pay attention.
The march takes up most of Episode 8 of the Ken Burns documentary.
