@andreamckinnon Basically all rifles, pistols, assualt rifles and some machineguns. Most machineguns and submachineguns are open bolt. There are also some rifles that can do both, like the fg42.

the big grey piece doesnt do anything so if you have a gun that doesnt fit the big piece you can use something els it only looks cool

I have modified this mechanism slightly for a bolt-action rifle. The bolt has a block on the front of it, so that when the bolt is pulled back, the "hammer (strange-looking gray piece)" is put into the cocking position. Video soon.

Do the same system, but place a long beam on the trigger instead and move the trigger forward :)
