first of all......she shouldn't shake hand with a non mahram men and that too with a non muslim.

secondly fatwa is not the suggestion its a verdict. Moreover you can question the fatwa if its not with references.

the fatwa clearly gives the reference that vande mataram means bowing to mother land. we only bow towards Allah. and our mother is not a land. Land is also one of the creation of Allah swt as mankind, plant, water, fire. etc etc

little knowdge will slve it ..no need for fatwa.

while i agree with the fatwa, i disagree with what you wrote. she is correct, a fatwa is an opinion, thats what it literallyeans. we are not catholics, with priests issuing edicts the way they do in the vatican. plus your intepretation of mahram is rather extreme and sounds like wahabism.

Brother........don't judge the person by its group or label. Whether wahabbism, barelvi, deobandi or any other sect the person belong to.....

See the sunnah of prophet mohammad sallalahu alaihi wasallam..

In a hadith.....its better to be nailed in the head rather than shaking hand with a non mahram.

Islam doesn't permit a girl or BOY to shake hand with non mahram. and more over about fatwa. don't follow it. fine...see what islam says about bowing...u will get an answer no need for a scholar

i didnt say i wouldnt follow the fatwa, what i objected to was you claiming that it was a sort of edict which was binding on everyone. claiming that 'shaking hands' with someone of the opposite sex is somehow 'haram' is simply wrong. mahram refers to a man who is a girls father or husband. shaking hands is simply a non-sexual form of greeting only you would assume that it would be sexual. so uh ya your interpretation is wahabism.

Mr Half knowledge,a women is not allowed to shake hand with anyone except her father, brother, son, husband etc. Go and clear your misconception before commenting anything filthy about islam. And abt wahabism, follow the footsteps of prophet sws, its enough for you, me n whole ummah. don't call it deobandi, salafi, wahabbism, barelvi or anything like that. Non sexual or sexual its not the point. follow what prophet told u. don;t try to indulge ur half knowledge brain into it. Allah bless u

I just have one question. was prophet and the companions of the prophet a complete muslim or liberal muslim, or modern muslim or what?

Ans. Complete muslim. You just can't say that I want to follow some thing and don't want some thing from Islam. Islam is a complete way of life.

Who do u want to follw to.....the sahabas(companions) or SRK, salman or aamir? its upto you. hope u got it

the prophet was modern for his time with the ideas he was preaching to the jahil. for wahabis like you to claim that you are 'complete muslims' guess again. you know nothing or value zikr,you claim idoitic things like 'music and dancing is haram' and then bash sufi's day and night. so don tell me about the 'sunnah of th prophet' the day you do zikr is the day you can come and talk about it. allah hoo haq.

Thankx for giving me the name WAHHABI. A muslim is a one who follows the commandments of Allah swt and the way of Prophet saws. About music....go and refer a scholar as I don't think u have much knowledge on islam. If you think worshipping or asking help from graves is going to help u out. then u are absolutely wrong. Its haraam. In sufism too, thre are many tareeqas which are completely out of islam except some of them. So please I dont want any war over here. May Allah bless u

whatever wahabi, now your just making up your own interpretation. you guys loove calling other muslims as 'shirk' or kaffirs, like the sufis and shias, but cant handle it when you get a taste of your own bitter medicine, something for you to think about.
