You've got your steering input totally mixed up in that 'low and highside' rant along with a bunch of other ridiculous practices. Not trolling, just saying this guy's a noob - don't take his advice.
You are a complete retard. If you want to learn how to ride buy a leather suit and ride on a track with novice and pro riders because your gonna get hurt. You suck!
Yep, just what I was about to say - Youtube is full of retards so it's best not to pay attention to them. Besides, most of these trolls probably can't even speak English with an accent, let alone without it.
And to the OP - thanks for the tips, bro. You can never have one too many good advices.
Turning the handle bars to the left in a left will stand the bike up, to the right will lie the bike down even further, highsides and lowsides are caused by over throttle in a turn and the back wheel loosing grip, and if it regains grip to quickly you high side, if it never regains grip you low side
@MooPoo1980 -- i had a black eye bcoz i got involved in a braul 2 days earlier before i uploaded this vid. my eyes is messed up. but don't worry, the guy who i beat up had worst than what i had.
thumbs up for the good intention to share info but its only 50% correct..some riders would be confuse by your video and may endanger themselves...pls check out twist the wrist 2 by keith code for proper riding....before u misdirect other riders...
@fockerdonkey " twist the wrist 2 by keith code " got it 2 years ago and kneedown and good throtle control, vision and survival reaction's are not a problem anymore :-) It saved my life a couple of times !!
take into consideration folks that sport bikes and standards have very different riding set ups and sitting and body positioning. Pegs are lower on standards, bars are higher, and your sitting more upright.
you said that while in turn you should keep your handel bar firm and steady but you havent talked about the counter steering. arent you suppose to apply a slight pressure on one of the grips?
nice video, now just lift some weights and u can be cast for a new season of the jersey shore...although u'd have more brains since u utilize proper body positioning :)
Right . I've done that as usual. Except on slick roads the tail wanted to slide way out. Reversing the lean onto bike(opposite knee direction) countering the weight forward/backwards properly+the accel+slight twitch of the bar to quickly run an S bend. But when the tires grip right ill lean as to my arms allowance.I still get weird looks when I lean my bike way to one side and am going straight, lol just a little counter of the steering and weight location. You are correct.I am just one of those.
I use the same riding positions when cornering and it works great!... There is only 1 thing i'dd like to share, @ the end you state you're handlebar should be steady or firm... Now i know what you say about high or lowsiding is absolutly true BUT it should also be worth mentioning that ANY RIDER should NOT have a death grip one's handlebars! DO NOT fight the front end of you're motorcycle beceause you will create instability... Source: Twist Of The Wrist 2 (by keith code)
i am no rider or a fan, but i learned big things from a small package of gift! who knows of what i will be in the time. pero kailangan ko muna mag try at alisin ang fear of driving a motorbike
This is actually a good riding position, lower body and upper body must hang as far off the bike as possible so that you have more lean angle to work with. (more weight hanging off center of the bike, the less the bike has to lean for a certain corner speed).
@sonicnofadz It all depends on how fast, wide or sharp you're turning. Make your corrections before the turn. You dont want to be goin 10mph and make a body turn u should be doing at 30 mph and vice versa.
3:01 oh shit bro when I heard you say "pippy toe" I just busted out laughing lol. Keep the good work up and btw, I'm jealous of your monster edition Ninja! >:D
Dude, ur going to get someone killed. This is only for track. If someone needs to be in that position on a turn from a highway, or street, your going way to fast. Lol. But yes, great info for the turning.
According to the california superbike school, you're supposed to lower your left shoulder if you are turning left and lower your right if you are turning right....
ok so you dont press the handle bars when your turning?? I use to have a ninja 250 and I was told to always press and lean. But on my R6 I tries that, and it feels like the tires dont want to turn or go in the direction I want them to.....am I suppose to just do counter steering
@2nothaveapurpose you always use countersteering in a turn (unless you moving at walking pace :p). it's hard to know without seeing you ride, but perhaps your arms could be too straight? try relaxing and keeping them bent. aim to get them parrallell to the ground almost. does that make sense? hope that helps
Nice video. Now that you have the chromakey background and Picture-In-Picture capabilities, maybe you can revised the video with your new video editing techniques.
@rancis71 -- thanks man. i've been using green screen and picture in picture since the old days. Back in early 2000. some of my old videos here on youtube were on top of a green screen. Thanks bro!
You really should have your inside shoulder and arm dropped down below the tank. The reason is that it will be very difficult to add steering input they way you are positioned. Everything else looks great but on a moving bike you need to have your inside elbow pointing down. That way you are in position to countersteer the bike. What you are doing is supporting yourself with your left arm which will cause the bike to stand up and you will be getting up off the ground.
Very good advice bro.... but not all riders r the same. Im 6'8". My body positioning isnt gonna be the same as an "average" sized rider or "short" rider.
Fantastic instruction for good body positioning. Your instructions were clear and not rushed with plenty of pause time for the viewer to observe your position... Bravo!

I didn't see you do it so I was wondering if it's not a good idea or just because you're not moving?
@TheSpiralZeroTheory -- every rider who knows what he is doing has different riding style. If you will ask me, this is my riding style. Not for a hardcore rider but for a casual rider who rides a casual ride.
@TheSpiralZeroTheory Dude seriously it is all in the counter steer. Your body and legs will adjust naturally. I have a weird stance where the I keep my front balls of my feet on the pegs. At 6:25 your are wrong..I actually crank my steering wheel to the right and it makes you turn left. The harder you turn the bars to the right the more youll turn to the left. IDIOT quit teaching people mistakes. You will not high side if you turn your wheels to the right. In fact you will turn left
@TheSpiralZeroTheory To me that is the most important part of body positioning, dropping the shoulder into the turn, allows me to turn more quickly and my body is relaxed around my shoulders.
Mark, do you incorporte counter-steering when you're going through the twisties? I saw another vid where the rider was saying counter-steering is more effective than using body positioning like you were demonstrating...btw, love the bike
