  • do you still belive in God if you do then i recommend you going to a christian church like a pentecostal church or some thing like that. May God guide you in all you do

  • The flag thing also has to do with not following the government.

  • Wow not allowed to call friends from school friends only associates. Wow that's like so...unnatural.

  • years ago we had school sports and after school stuff....that is newer.

  • yes it isolates you from day one, I had a pal from the street before first grade so that was great...but the others do not include because of that, true.

  • ok #1 christmas pagan the king at that time cut off peoples heads and put them on christmas trees thats why they have globes where you can see you head!! GET IT SHERLOCK!!

#2!!! hallowween demons period!! how can you be that blind its like your actually callng the demons!!

#3! we dont celebrate holidays because they have a bigger meaning to what they are and what they present! i would explain why and what for the other 1ns but i dont hav that much space!! YOU ARE BLLIIINNNDD!!!

  • @Jinmay890890 Please explain to everyone how JW practices are acceptable. PLEASE!! I grew up a JW. I thankfully got out, but not without many issues. What he says in the vid is TRUE. This is the TRUTH. Please explain why when a brother or sister gets "disfellowshipped" his/her family shuns them. NOT RIGHT!!!!! Explain why armageddon has been prophesied numerous times since the early 1900's and never happened. I have many other questions to ask you. Please explain. There is lots of room to type.

  • im soo lucky i wasnt raised jw!

  • Hey man just a heads up to u, the word apostate is only in the bible one time and it has to do with Anyone who speaks against the Christ. Hope that makes u feel a little better, I was raised as a jw too what a nightmare blessings to you!

  • Thanks fellow Apostate. I also was raised in the "truth". After I figured out I was in a cult, but not able to leave, I started lying about getting Christmas presents, birthday presents where I was all the time. My mother didn't care about my schooling what-so-ever, beat me savagely and wouldn't let me play sports at school. I am 41 now and still have the anger and bitterness. My favorite author is Dan Barker. I am still damaged goods but free. Thanks for the videos.

  • This is true fuck this shit if I had the chance I'll burn down a kingdom hall

  • It's horrible to see your 9 year old niece cry because she thinks you'll be destroyed at Armageddon. :/

  • i think it's great that you're sharing this with us :)

  • The watchtower teaches they have pagan roots???? I had heard of ignorance but wow man ur the champ!!!

  • I never had problems with kids making fun of me because of my religion... I used to harass my mom to let me go to dances though. I was allowed to go to one once a year loll after I pushed for it (dancing was my life). I wasnt allowed to hang out much with my school friends (probably around once a month). which did hurt me because it was a little lonely (they were probably better behaved than some of my witness friends at the time).

  • This MAN says true i was jw too long ago ,dos and donts in this religion fuck it

  • ok sooooo yea holidays do have pagan origins which is why we as Jehovah's Witnesses dont celebrate them. And also yes the JW children are isolated from the other children. Why? Because in the bible Jesus taught that we are to be seperate from the "world", AND avoid bad association.

  • shut up dude u could go to dances retard ur a liar about dance dummy yea know tht does not hapened in dance shut up and learn first then start talking crap i dnt kno wat kind of kindom hall did u go retard

  • @1GreenSkittlez

Jehovah would not approve of your language. ;)

  • shut up dude u could go to dances retard ur a liar about dance dummy yea know tht does not hapened in dance shut up and learn first then start talking crap

  • and im sorry with all tht happened to you its messed up but just lik other religions and jut people in general we do make mistakes we are imperfect. But like i said it wasnt bad for me. And I hope you are happy and have peace with you.

  • witness and i must admit tht their are sum witness out their tht i like to call "Radical Witness" tht take and do things to the Extreme and espically witness parents. But I was jus fortunate enough to be raised in a normal witness family were i was not forced to be one and was even told to question wat i was learning and i did learned on my own and had a great congregation tht loved and supported me and even showed up to my various plays and school functions of mine

  • Grow Up and stop being a big baby.... P.S. some muslims, buddists, and jews dont salute the flag or celebrate different holidays Dummy. I am a Witness Born and Raised and Hung out with different ppl in school who are still my very close friends, went to dances, and was part of the drama club and had to stay after school plenty of times. And Cartoons are on all day Loser! Im sorry you had bad experiences growing up but i jus think ppl watching this need to realize tht this is not the case for all

  • It was tough being a kid, in school and in the congregation!!! I was always different and made to feel different!! I was the only 12 year old in my congregation that wasnt baptized!!! And thank god I never did get baptized!!! My parents my brother and I left the religion when I was about 14. And to go from being taught as a JW to being able to do whatever you want was confusing!! Im 27 and I still have serious problems because of the religion or cult to me it all the same shit!!!

  • most of this is true, but not being able call people your friends is a bit too much? i was allowed to call friends, ''friends'' and never heard a word about it and my family was quite deep into the religion. now i have left the truth i see that yes jehovah witnesses are right and that i would rather be associated with them then people outside the truth. i feel that jehovah witnesses are great people, go see what they av to say before judging dem. seriuosley they are good people n aint met better

  • @gamer1mod JW's I'm sure are very nice people. Unfortunately they are brainwashed & deceived. They are also narrow minded and their entire lives are controlled by the Watchtower. They believe Every other religion is wrong except for theirs. Their entire organization is based on lies from the day it started. Typical of any CULT!

  • I remember as a child getting in trouble for calling someone at school a friend. I would be corrected with, 'You mean ACQUAINTANCE.' Sheesh.

  • I felt isolated, no siblings, no aunts nearby, and the school thing too.....had a couple of school friends in the hood. yes the holidays, awkward......enjoyed drama club......music and being a fine student, hope you get more schooling.

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

  • @bonesmccoy1 It's your house, if you don't believe kick them out ;)

  • lol, lol, lol, that's all i have to say! because i could go on and on,lol enough say

  • @slivenne Even here you are a prick! I cannot escape the ignorance!

  • @LittleSerboLamb well that wasnt nice of u to say,i think u're just an idiot.so i wont spend my time carrying a convo with an idiot! GOOD RIDDANCE!

and once again i laugh at this vid, this is nonsense

  • @slivenne - Hey you fag; did you ever find a dictionary & learn the meaning of the word "hypothetical"?

Damn, USA1960 so kick your ass on the Heather Ellis thread, all because you wouldn't consult a dictionary! Damn, you're a dumb mother fucker!

Hope that you're still not trying to use words which you don't have a clue as to their meaning LOL LOL LOL HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!!

  • @FightBadBehavior lol, this imbecile was able to track me!heee.u really arent making sense.usa1960 kick my butt!?haha! how old r u 12!?i didnt know that i was fighting or competing with him.all i have to say is GOOD RIDDANCE!

  • There is no doubt about it, the JW religion is a definate " Cult ". i feel sorry for these brainwashed people on the inside who can not see with their " OWN " eyes!

..They better not come knocking on my door!

  • @russellj80

JWs have a "martyr complex", doing anything mean to them or being rude to them only fuels their fire.

Cold apathy, and asking question in which their is no logical answer (like point to Numbers 31 and ask them how that was issued from a "loving" and "all powerful" god "had to" kill those children). That kind of stuff is much more effective.

  • hello fellow antichrist! its so nice to meet you i love your gangreen ridden words! it does indeed suck growing up as a JW. im glad you are posting your vids up online for the world to see the ugly face of the jehovah witnesses and there organization. keep up your terrible antichrist work your doing a wonderful job! lol ^^

  • wtf dude i grew a JW being that way i just look at it as it made me stronger what a cry baby

  • I didn't realize this is what a Jehovah's wittness child had to go through....i currently have a Jehova's witness woman and her son coming to my house...i don't want to be mean but i don't know how to handle this.....I don't agree with the teachings or the watch tower...any suggestions??

  • I feel the ostracization... I definitely felt it. ...in their defense, I feel like saluting the flag is kinda stupid anyway, IMO. Great vid

  • You admit to being an apostate, so you hate all these ppl on youtube, do they know what are definition of an apostate is, I say this because I too grew up as a witness...I no longer am, but I am not going to bad mouth the witnesses...because we both know it is the truth, look we made our choice, but are you going to condemn these ppl to death by giving them false information...LOOK PPL WITNESSES ARE THE OPPOSITE TO THE ILLUMINATI, THEY HOLD THE KEY LIKE IT OR NOT...

  • i see that this video was made in 2009 I hope you continue telling the real the truth about the witnesses I always felt sorry for my cousins who grew up in the hall some got away the others are still kissing the elders ass and keeping the secrets that go on in the hall

  • @claressa62 there are no secrets buddy, you can go in a hall whenever you want, and find out whats what...

  • My mother used to say thatthat we will be going to paradise and all people not jehovahs wittness will get killed in armegidon,I said I dont want to go to paradise if I dont have any friends.

  • I also plea with anyone considering to join the organization for the sake of their kids. I did not grow up as a witness, however recently my deadbeat dad who started studying with witnesses, who hardly ever contacted me anyways, left me a nasty message saying that he no longer wanted to speak with me. He was never there for me, he was abusive and an alcoholic, but i still had the comfort in knowing that he didn't reject me. buteven as an adult facing him finally cutting ties is heartbreaking.

  • sometimes i wonder if people even read the bible and try to make sense of it rather than just listen to there father/paster/priest etc...and put there faith in them and just believe them for what they say. You will never get a better education of the bible anywhere else than with Jehovah and his witnesses...point blank.

  • I didn't realize it was this bad. My boss is a Jehovah's Witness. I know he threw a big stink about this X-mas party the company was throwing, and he's always trying to talk to me about Jesus, but he seem that bad aside from being a weirdo.

This religion needs to be eradicated.

  • CS well said. How could I ever 4 gt the feeling of being made to feel an outsider for since I can remember. My parnets said the same to me on a regular basis,my worldy fiends

Wer in fact walking corpses! They wer going to burn at Armageddon. Fucking sick twisted people!!

  • So, so true. I remember my mom brainwashing the hell out of me and telling me that people were bad, demonic etc. Getting the shit beat out of me for going to a halloween party, stuff like that. Guess what, in my teens I rebelled like a motherfucker and did every drug except heroin and meth. Fornicated as much as I could, did gang activity etc. I was pissed and I wanted to kill, murder etc. Untill the military straightened me out, so yeah, mom, your mind fuck actually did way worse than good,

  • There were a couple of JW kids in my elementary school when I was a kid. I knew them well, but I always thought it sucked that they couldn't attend class parties or sing the national anthem. They would have to wait outside the gym when we had to sing. They could never go to birthday parties. What kind of life is that for a kid? Sounds like a form of child abuse to me. I have never liked the JW Organization. It's a messed up just like it's founder.

  • trust me they have there own parties where everything is clean & well organized. Children dont have to celebrate holidays and birthdays to have a good childhood. I was raised a J.W & my childhood was great, I am close with my brothers & sisters & I love my parents how many kids these days can you say that about after there 18..You cant, they leave screwup & then a year later looking for a place to stay...Not that everyone does that but we try to prevent that. We go by tge bible plain and simple.

  • You are just another brainwashed victim of the JW Organization. Think about it.

  • @GLUVSR4EVER good for you for being the exception. what percentage of children raised this way stays with it? and by the by, if you actually knew any 'worldlings' you would find that there are good people all over, that care for their parents and others. regardless of denomination

  • I was raised in the truth but my parents gave me free will. I hated the meetings, when I turned 17 I left the truth and was out in the world for 4 years.Yes there are nice people all around that care. But in the end I new that the world was full of corruption & now as a parent I realize that & regret/repent ever leaving Jehovah. Im am so glad that im back and raising my 2 kids in it. Im 28 so Im young and my life was hard lived so no ones gonna tell me about the world.

  • yes the world is full of corruption. all of it, including the organization. so what do you tell your daughter if she ends up marrying a so called good witness who beats the crap out of her? be a better wife because he is the head of the household? and you are the weaker vessel. oh, and the world is an evil and scary place full of corruption so stay or risk getting disfellowshipped. free will huh? yeah.

  • Were imperfect & will always sin until armagedon. So you know better than I that many J.W's will get disfellowship for all sorts of reasons. But not all of them do and if you are following the bible you dont have to worry about those things. We are imperfect & thats recognized dude come on. & if that would happen then she would have the right to leave him accordding to scripture. Its about keeping faith & not letting your guard down, when it comes down we start to loose.

  • @GLUVSR4EVER oh, they have changed the rules on that then? or can she leave with the stipulation that she can't remarry? look into it. yes we are all imperfect beings. but if a person tries to be the best they can, good to others, with all the faults born and learned, and that's not good enough because they didn't follow one particular religion's set of rules or way of thinking, then do they really want to end up with them anyway? not me.

  • Leave without remarring. The bible says there is only one path to God. Ephesians 4:5 says there is one lord, one faith. Jesus stated: Narrow is the gate & cramped the road leading off into life, & few are the ones finding it. Not EVERYONE saying to me lord, lord will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my father who is in heaven will. If you just want to live a normal life and reject christ than you are acceptn to just live & die and never come back right?

  • @GLUVSR4EVER How scary. You have to live in constant fear from childhood of being "dis-fellowshipped". The Bible says people are saved by grace through faith and that of ourselves but it's the gift of God. It also says He keeps us and completes the work in us, Himself. Yet, you guys think you have to work your way to salvation (or else). JWs exemplifies the complete and utter difference between a man made religion (JWs) and real Christianity (relationship with God). Truly a shame.

  • @EffieReal Can U tell me what that faith consist of. To me faith means to do Jehovahs will and Jesus told and showd us how. What did Jesus say for us to do? He said to preach the good news across the world so that everyone can have a chance to learn the truth. Faith without practice means nothing. Everything in the bible is there for a reason & everything thats not in the bible is also not there for a reason. Christmas, halloween, easter..etc thats all in the bible ? lolol thats ur faith

  • @GLUVSR4EVER You assume a lot. Faith is a G-d-given ability to believe. It is substantive and evidential (according to the Word). Jesus did not just "show us how" he said he WAS the Way. You cannot do what Jesus did without the miracle of the life of Christ (who is God) imparted into your dead soul. You cannot work your way to, through or out of salvation. Salvation is a gift. God is the giver and the one who keeps us. Holidays are a different subject, but JWs have that one wrong too.

  • @EffieReal only to your convinience do U have faith .Walk in Jesus way means try to be like him. We arent perfect Jehovah knows that, he knows how much we can bare. Faith is somthing U need to have & it moves us to do what Jesus asked us to do. Yea we R not trying to buy a ticket to eternal life but we want to please God & show him that we R doing these things because we love him & because he sent his son to instruct us to do so.

  • @EffieReal Celebrating pagen holidays sides u with D devil its as simple as that. We all know Jesus wasnt born dec.25 yet every year U spit in his face & celebrate it anyways. Jesus didnt want anyone to see him as god thats why when they came to crown him king he fled into the forest. That wasnt his purpose, his purpose was to teach mankind about what we need to do in this system of things & to die for adams sin. U think if god wanted his sons birthdate in the bible it would have been in there.

  • @GLUVSR4EVER You are so far into assumption and poor logic and extensions of assumptions of poor logic that untangling this nightmare of a statement would take several long and dreary posts. (*See folks, this is your brain on JWs.) Suffice it to say, everything you just said is demonstrably wrong. Except the fact that Jesus wasn't born on Dec the 25th which no one say he was. LOL, silly non-argument, that.

  • @EffieReal I wish you could back what you say but im sure someone will tell you what to say instead of you actualy doing some research. I on the other hand will continue doing what Jesus instructed us to do and appreciate what Jehovah has given me for my own benifit. The bible is in black and white, why you cant understand it normal people with common sense will never know. But then again the bible has stories of people like yourself who will face gods wrath soon enough.

  • @GLUVSR4EVER Everything I have said has been backed, videos are available and you have access and refuse to believe the truth. God did not tell you to try to entice people into your cult. God did not tell you to raise children by brain washing them. God did not tell you to only read a badly mistranslated version of the Bible with intentionally changed language. God did not tell you to serve an organization above Him. People like you are who are in danger. I will pray for you. You are loved.

  • @EffieReal wow its funny you say our bible is badly translated when even biblical scholers agree and encyclopedia britanica agree our bible is the closetes translation there is to the bible. Not only that but a museum here in houston texas had scrolls on display that were recently found in iraq that were shared to the public and translated to english where we compared our verses to them and guess what SPOT ON!. And on top of that the museum translated gods name to JEHOVAH. What a coincidence.

  • @GLUVSR4EVER I am sorry that you are so very mind controlled. It is a sad thing to see. No one should be so ensnared by a cult as to be willing to support a lie and follow a path that leads to Hell all while thinking they are serving God. This is one of the most evil things I have seen Satan do. This is exploitation of the people that God made to follow him whlle believing they are following God.He's an Angel of Light, a Deceiver, I can't wait to see Satan cast into the lake of fire.

  • @GLUVSR4EVER Did you know the name Jehovah is a made up name that came into being after the middle ages? Therefore whatever one encyclopedia said , and from what ever date it said it, means nothing. No, the NWT's verses are not "spot on" the are altered, added to and diabolically misleading. There are NO ancient scrolls that have the word "Jehovah" in them.

  • @EffieReal no the scrolls are obviously not in english but the museum found it appropriate to translate the name of god to Jehoavah. Thats how it is sounded out in english, Or Yahweh. All biblical scholars will agree with me that Gods name is Jehovah, Yahweh ALL of them. This is just way to much proof and you still cant accept it, thats fine because the bible speaks about people like you who will never understand. I will pray for you.

  • @GLUVSR4EVER The "museum" found it appropriate? Do you not see your appeal to false authority there? That's called a fallacy. The name was "translated" over the course of centuries by various filters to "Jehovah" and that alone shows that the word "Jehovah" is not at all the true name of God, but merely an English made-up word used to refer to the Tetragrammaton, appearing in English as YHWH. Jehovah, Yahweh and even YHWH are all just place holders. NONE of them are the name of God.

  • @EffieReal tell me what gods name is. Since you seem to know more than all biblical scholers and anyone who know the truth of the bible. Even he cant dispute that Jehovah is god. I feel so sorry for you,im not trying to be rude but its like telling a 5 year old santa isnt real. You cant back anything up. Your only backing is other loons like you repeating the same thing yet you cant prove it with the bible.

  • @GLUVSR4EVER "All biblical scholars"? Once again, you are making sweeping claims and appealing (broadly) to false authority. You sound like a toothpaste commercial telling me what "all dentists" say. You are arguing childishly and believing irrationally in something that I have already provided the information against. Are you still asserting that Jehovah is the actually, truly, really real name of God by which all must be saved? Then how did people get saved before the middle ages?

  • @EffieReal, sorry maybe i am being rude; my apologies. You havent proved anything, what your saying is still of somthing someone said or wrote, none of wich is inspired of god. Thats the only way it can be pronounced in english my friend. What your posting can argued by many, even ones who agree with you. GOD is a tital not a name, think about that please. Jesus wasnt god he stressed that so much.

  • @GLUVSR4EVER @GLUVSR4EVER This might help. It is a fairly concise breakdown of the point I am making "the name of God" is not something you can know, or pronounce in English.

    hubpages (dot) com /hub /Origin-Of-The-Name-Jehovah-And-Yahweh

Correct dots and removes spaces where necessary.

  • JW Organization = Twisted Cult

  • nailed it. this is EXACTLY how it is. Thats the "truth". amazing how the verbiage, i.e apostate, bad association, pagan, god forbid using the term "friends".. the cartoons! lol!! (i was NEVER aloud to watch the Smurfs..)etc.. is the SAME regardless of where you are. Proof of the power of this cult.

  • @EuroLivi dude every family has to make there own choices on behalf of there conscious. Your parent may have believed that certain cartoons were inapropriate. Mine didnt but that doesnt mean your parents were wrong. As children we pick up on alot and the world being as corupt as it is we cant LET the world lead our childrens mind now can we.

  • a little narrow sir.... 1. parents can limit tv (we all know why) .... can play ball, invite friends over, play music, lots of great gatherings just don't call it what a calendar wants to call it, do it out of love, not because have too. 2. reading and learning public speaking is a good thing LOL. 2. ALL people treated with respect. 3. flag worship explaination: "i pledge allegence, the to flag, of the united states of america, ONE NATION, UNDER GOD.... *? Is only one nation under God?

  • @EuroLivi Beware the demoinc smurfs :-P

  • @CSTheApostate i also was raised jehovahs witness.you are spreading the truth of the way it is to be jw.love your postings!would love to talk to you over similiar topics.your a good man cstheapostate.

  • Oh memories... You've just described my childhood. I went to the library to color every time my classmates did anything related to holidays, birthdays, parties etc. I feel like a third of my elementary/middle school days were spent in the library. Bible study twice a week, kingdom hall sundays, "out in service" every saturday, watchtower study every other day. Prep for talks and skits. Haha Good times. I don't regret/resent it but I'd never go back to it, nor would I want to raise my son in it.

  • Why do homework when the world's going to end?? LOL. The ignorance is mind-boggling!!

  • i never did.

the short term aggravation of detention didn't always help either....i was an expert at snoozing at my desk while religion was done, so another hour after school what the hey.

  • I grew up as a JW from the age of 4. Mom was IN, Dad was OUT. I felt incredibly conflicted. I was taught that my father was definitely going to die, and soon. Only by being a perfect JW was there any chance that my father would become a JW and therefore survive Armageddon. Conversely, if I wasn't a perfect JW then I would be the cause of my dad /NOT/ surviving Armageddon. Technically I felt the same way about the worldly children I went to school with, but less so than toward my dad.

  • Because dad was going to die, the elders told me that I was spiritually fatherless, and that I should go to them instead of my own dad for everything. Every time a plane went over, I thought the noise indicated an impending Armageddon and I would run for the basement. I remember a hurricane scare in New England and I was convinced that was the predicted Great Tribulation.

I'd like to hear more about my specific situation, with one parent in and one parent out.

  • Last year I drove past a KH and there was a little boy out front under a tree. I almost lost my shit, the emotional memory came on like a train. He was wearing a little navy sport coat, a clip-on tie, grey pants and black shoes, and his hair was perfectly combed and parted. He had that look about him -- sad, bored, confused, tired, abused.

  • @mdibiofuel

    jesus.

made me all misty eyed. Why pile that shit on a little kid? they have enough to deal with already

  • Saluting the flag is an american thing. Even non JWs from the other English speaking countries think that's just odd.

I can understand your concerns about missing out on a cake. Though it's already been observed you have not missed out on "vitamin pie."

JWs are not allowed to play sport? rubbish. Just admit that like me, you were cr@p at sport and too lazy anyway.

Let's be honest, regardless of the meetings you wouldn't have studied anyway.

Everyone gets roughed up at school, poof

  • @kpuc1973

If it was just cake it wouldn't be a big deal. It's more about how isolating being affiliated with the JW's can be, especially for children. I don't know if being a JW is the same everywhere, but I for one wasn't allowed to participate in anything really, that involved children who weren't JWs. I don't regret my childhood but I wouldn't want to put my son through it.

Your disparaging remarks towards CSTheApostate don't negate the validity of what he's said.

  • But he had no point. It was just a moan and a whine.

Every kid feels isolated, some more than others.

Some of course have the added hinderences of,say, being american where "being different" is bad.

Or perhaps they are Muslim and have to deal with similar issues to JW kids.

Maybe they have a mental or physical abnormality to deal with, possibly even ginger hair.

Everyone has some crap or someone to blame. so why waste time? Just get over it.

  • The point is to help people understand what it's like to grow up as a JW, who maybe are thinking about going into that religion. Lets say that I didn't know anything about the witnesses, and I have been studying with them lately. I have a little boy. Suppose I run across this video. It would cause me to think twice about getting into it to begin with. If my mother had seen this when I was a baby maybe she wouldn't have gotten into the Witnesses.

    That is the point.

  • doubt it

  • Furthermore, he is presenting his experiences in a calm and rational manner in a way that others can see, relate to, and think about if they are in a relevant situation. I don't believe that's a waste of time.

Everyone has issues growing up. No one claimed that being a JW is the worst fate in the world, far from it. Growing up as a witness made me isolated from my peers, so I associated with adults. It deprived me of a lot of experiences but made me more articulate and mature from a young age.

  • So while there are positive aspects to it, I feel, and clearly CSTheApostate feels that the negatives FAR outweigh the positives.

People don't always realize upon first meeting a JW at the door what they're really getting into. When you grow up in the religion and decide to be baptized you don't realize that it's a commitment that means you can't get out without everyone you know shunning you.

The point is to share this information, the experiences, and relate to those who've been there.

  • "..When you grow up in the religion and decide to be baptized you don't realize that it's a commitment that means you can't get out without everyone you know shunning you..."

That's rubbish. people brought up as witnesses know it better than anyone else. Indeed, some cynically go out and do all the non witness things they want are then "sorry" and get baptised (with a zed) having accomplished everything they wanted to do.

There is also the walkaway get out which avoids the shunning.

  • @kpuc1973

I think the point is that isolation is a tool of the cult to keep children from learning anything about the world. they scare you into thinking these terrible things will happen if you associate with worldly people.

That is a cult tactic, because it works. Sheep stay in the flock out of fear.

  • Did you read any of my comments above before posting?

  • @spudgebomb got that right mate

  • Philip Larkin - This Be The Verse

They fuck you up, your mum and dad. They may not mean to, but they do.

They fill you with the faults they had And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn By fools in old-style hats and coats,

Who half the time were soppy-stern And half at one another's throats.

Man hands on misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf.

Get out as early as you can, And don't have any kids yourself.

  • If i was as fat as you

THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD PUT MY FACE ON YOUTUBE

  • @WatchtowerPusher Aren't you being disloyal to Jehovah by being on here? What Kindgom Hall do you go to so I can tell them!

    Judgmental Prick.

  • @WatchtowerPusher Jehovah's happy people have love - where's yours?

  • @PuNkOfNiCe

How happy or loving would you feel, if an elder came across this post of yours viewing an apostate video and "talking to" an apostate, and decides to dis-fellow-ship you?

Then everyone you know and "love", acts in such a way, that it is if they all died at once.

Again how much of love and happiness would you feel in that just scenario.

  • First MAN I WAS A JW AT A YOUNG AGE AND IT TOOK ME 20YEARS 2 FIGURE OUT WHY U SHOULDN'T CELEBRATE BD AND HOLIDAYS AND U SHOULD NOT BE BITTER ABOUT 1 DAY OF THE WHOLE YEAR U SHOULD WORRY ABOUT EVERYDAY OF THE YEAR AND I AGAIN WAS A 7 YR JW AND WHY DID I WANT 2 WORSHIP THE US FLAGG IT MADE NO SENCE 2 WORSHIP A MAN MADE FLAGG OF THE US WHICH U ALREADY NO WHO CONTROLL THE US DO YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK

  • ugggh, caps lock man...

  • hey that non flag salute really endears you to the first grade teacher.. good thing I was gifted and straight A as a little kid as I spent time in the hallway that year....I hear ya.....but we are MORE creative in the text on child development.....

  • i was born as a JW , around the age of 18th i stop going to the meetings and i was cast out from my own family, my mom haven't talk to me for almost 10 years. the fault is not the religion is the people. and i feel really bad about them because most of the people that goes to the meetings have a double life. hypocrites!, they preach about love but yet they hate everything out of their bubble.

  • dood not every jw dont go to dances im not and my folks dont let me cause they just dont want me to do anything stupid.

and they can call people freinds just who the hell says they cant.

ook you guys gotta stop taking this guys word for it his just badmouthing the religion. fare enough his had it rough but their normal people i dunno watch the documentary knocking it's preety good thats why i at least dont waste my time bad mouthing them

  • nah, they're a cult, destructive. 20 yrs of my life wasted...

  • thats not true there is no isolation i got freinds that are jw's and there completly normal they just cautios is all.

  • i thought JWs didn't believe in satan and hell.

  • I went to school when they still did prayers, and had to leave the class every morning for 4 years till they stopped doing the prayers.

  • That was brilliantly accurate, I love that you used the term walking corpses, I've used that term for years, and while I suppose I understand that, that perspective would outwardly be frowned upon from the platform, It is exactly how a child (well I did certainty) views people.

  • Thank you for sharing, the video was well done and effective.

  • great post bro!!!!!!!!!

    i wanna exterminate that cult

  • Any religion thats says a 5 yr old cant enjoy a freegin cupcake and a birthday song..(whats wrong with being born and celebrating the life of a child anyway JW?) is ridiculous, mean, and hurtful..can you imagine the look on a childs face when he cant have a piece of dang cake! come on people, get out of that CULT!

  • a free gin cupcake?

no probs giving free cakes to kids, but alcoholic ones??

  • its a whole lot of brainwashing ! I am glad you escaped from it. My neice and one og my three nephews have also escaped. But they are so intergrated into the movement ! I have in the past pointed out the false predictions of the organisation to no effect ! I have made bridges and repaired mh relationships with them ! John

  • ok with the whole flag thing. I know where your coming from cuz I too was born, raised, and am still one of JW's. When it came to the flag in elementry when i first started school it was a prob. but as the years went on in the same school, kids knew my situation and so did teachers and it never become a problem. When I chnged schools I had to start from scratch again but i was happy to make Jehovah happy. I'm still in school(16btw)and am getting baptized in 5 days. I do understand though

  • The Watchtower has pagan roots tOOO!

    C.T. Russell History Brother!

  • Great video... oh the memories, we were not allowed to watch ScoobyDoo because there was a ghost in it. And the isolation... man talk about some fun times. All the hours of mind numbing study... I had forgotten about some of that.

I think we should all make Smurf cakes with trolls and have a huge birthday and flag party!!

    Augh the M e m o r i e s!

  • you sure it wasnt cos you'd rub one out to Daphne?

  • iI Grew up as a JW too I'm 24 now... but i left the organization when i was 18 but still believed they were truth until last october 2008 i started attending a regular church... came to find that the JW's organization is not the truth... it is a dangerous cult... I am happy to say I am a Born again christian!... praise God!

  • very good! I am glad you are free:)

  • PRAISE JESUS!

  • Thanks for sharing all this.

Sorry you missed out on so much of your childhood. Mostly for living under fear and oppression. Truly sad.

Ironically... the Watchtower is based on Paganism... the pyramid, the tower (found on ancient goddess Artemis), anniversaries and weddings... at some point everything was pagan... but that's all irrelevant for them.

    Truly sad.

  • sometimes i wish I would have had my fun instead of growing up in this religion. I think every kid needs to experience "the world" at some point in their lives. I find that the people people who are now serious about God are people who've had their "fun" growing up. It's like they've experienced the world, and now it's time to come home. Me (and probably you and countless other ex JW drones) well, I haven't experienced jack - except a crappy divorce from my ex JW husband.

  • Very sad really. They teach children to be little judges and stereotypists. It's as bad as teaching a child to be racist.

  • what's wrong with a little racism?

  • Well, if you need someone to blame, I suppose it's okay. But wouldn't it be better to teach a child to deal with life's problems without blaming others? There's only one race - that being the human race; that means that racism is basically pointless. It's just another way to blame others for our own inadequacies.

  • all good stuff.

as americans aren't technically a different race is it ok to dislike them?

  • If generalizing based on where someone lives or has citizenship is your thing then who's to tell you differently?

  • good. of course you can go on culture too (or lack of - just to include the americans)

is it true that anyone with a 42 inch waist or bigger instantly gets a green card?

  • i grew up jw too,i remember those days in school. All the fuckin talks about association,no birthday parties couldn't even eat the cookies or any of the snacks.I remember havindg to sit out in the hall way doing school work while all the other kids were enjoying themselves ....just being kids. You can bet that it won't happen to my kids.

  • Well it certainly seems you have something to get off your chest, looking forward to your next videos. Nice to know you friend :)

  • Another reason the flag salute is forbidden is because the WB&TS forbids nationalism and involvement with governments. Yet it was okay for the Watchtower to be a NGO of the United Nations.

Setting jws apart from the rest of society such as forbidding the celebration of holidays or participation in dances and sports is a way to isolate young people and exert further mind control over them. The same principal applies to attending meetings and field service.

    Another good video, Phin!
