What a beautiful woman both inside and out. She had a smile that lighted up the whole room. Why is it that people who are confronted with such a horrible disease are brave and courageous? She lived her life with dignity and not letting the disease get her down knowing full well that the day would come where she would leave her infant children. It would have been more devastating for Jane to leave her husband and young children behind. Rest in Peace you beautiful soul.

Kevvie Walters wife died of breast cancer too, she found out when she was pregnant, she delayed treatment till after the baby was born, but by then it was too late, RIP to Kim Walters and to Jane Mcgrath, you are sorely missed

I can't believe she died so young! It was a long and tough battle for her. Glad she always had a smile on her face. To be honest, I only found out about this death a few days ago from an email. My heart goes out to everyone affect by cancer.

I would ask people to please donate to a cure for breast cancer within your city or town. It is difficult making your own funeral arrangements ahead of time due to this.....May God bless all of you!

All my heart felt condolences to the McGrath family. There are many inspirational women battling this illness. This doesn't just happen to high profile people ... it's happening to women all over the country from every walk of life and although they don't leave behind the legacy of a foundation that Jane has, they too battle this illness with dignity, grace and courage. Keep strong to those women out there currently battling this illness. Jane McGrath was an inspiration.

Well, we've lost the wives of sports stars before but never before has it rocked Australia so much - a testament to how successful she's been in raising awareness and funds for specialist breast cancer nurses.
