  • A couple more corrections: The ship is the Mayflower which landed at Plymouth Rock. Plymouth's inaugural year was 1928.

  • The Plymouth didn't have a 3 window coupe in the 46-48 model. They were all 5 window. But there were two different coupes. One was the business coupe like this one that had no back seat. The other had a little more roof and bigger back windows and a back seat and it was called a club coupe. Then there were two sedans a 2 door and a 4 door. Plymouth also offered a Convertible and a Woodie Wagon. All these could be had in two different trim levels, the Deluxe, a the Special Deluxe.

  • it's not a businessman's coupe as it has rear windows

  • @shanabalan there are 5 window coupes and 3 window coupes.they are all called business coupe :)

business coupe because they were 2 seat cars with a huge trunk.perfect for salesman who drove mostly alone in these cars.thats where the name comes from

  • Thats sweet! glad he went with Mopar power instead of a boring 350 Chevy!

  • @DR440 yep very good choice!great car!can u tell me why most rods are running with those 350's?do not know much about hot rodding and always asked myself why they do that.

  • I have the opportunity to buy a complete and original one of these in decent shape. No dents, no rot. This video is making me lean towards buying it.
