  • our old 7.3l turbo is great. tows anything.

  • WOOHOO!!!!! That's what I'm talkin about !!!! Diggin' and Wiggin' !!!!!! Been watchin sorry ass dodges try to truck pull.

  • @thathoodniggabrik 1reason is because the bottom end stock can hold more power and unleash more trq so as you modify the bottom end its jus out does the 6.0....its always been the best for pulling over the 6.0 even mechanics will tell you that

@123michaeln its double overtime and its a 1500hp pro mod truck

  • why 7.3 is better for pull than 6.0?

  • 368.10-nuff said!

  • dual fuel pump anyone?

  • Fuck the EPA

  • ...global warming...

  • damn how many horse power is that

  • @123michaeln 200 to 300 stock. so 400 to 500

  • my girlfriend is friends with the owner and his wife

  • did any of you guys know that there are more powerstrokes on the road today then cummins and duramax combined. i think thats awsome

  • best Pro Stock truck out there.

  • Motorhead45102... Finally, thank you man, thank you very much

  • How does he keep the heads on that thing?

  • well time to go get some more fuel

  • sweet

  • just wondering.. we wmtp pull 8000 from street legal diesel... how much is this?

  • I wish that truck would of burst into flames you dumbass rednecks

  • @casey2415 quit hating!!!! its just youtube with some guys video, i would like to know why can't everyone shut the fck up about whos truck is better and what should happen to the other guys, oh wait sorry thats to damn simple.

  • a cummins might make for a faster truck, but the 7.3s sure cant be beat for pulling

  • Double Overtime! Saw that truck! SICK nasty!

  • fucking awesome , it's beautiful

  • @boobsmaster its a 7.3 powerstroke not no cat

  • last time i check double overtime had twin turbos and ran with 160-170 pound of boost hp 1800 to 2000, but his new set up is said to have only 3 turbos idk how much boost its said to have over 2000 hp now

  • That was a real good run !

    Weights sure help

  • No one really knows what the actual horsepower is because the guy who owns it doesnt want people to know. Someone interveiwed him and he said that it is over 2000 horsepower. And it has 120 pounds of boost from 4, yes i said 4 turbos.

  • @ssahsemaj 2000hp i dont suppose you mean torque now? do you

  • That was sick!

  • holy shit.. that thing has alot of power!!!

  • if im correct and i no i am isnt it supposed 2 STOP b4 it gets 2 the end of the track

    FORD RULES

  • no you go as far as you can the sled will stop you at some point

  • i saw another video of this truck and everyone is saying it has 6 to 800hp i think its more like 1000 minimum its not a stock caterpillar its done to the nutts by a proffesional race truck builder so realy does anyone know the REAL figures on this thing?

  • over 1800hp

  • whats up with the smaller pipe on the hood

  • It is a waste gate

  • Hell YA I have a 1993 7.3 F350 nothin like it best truck i ever drove

  • hell ya 7.3 now thats BUILT FORD TOUGH.

  • that thing would've kept pullin that thing if it went into the ditch :p

  • and thats why the 7.3 was the best dam motor ford had!!!

  • 7.3 is pretty tough, but the toughest engine Ford ever has had was the 300 inline 6.

  • gas engine wise i agree but i was actually saying diesel engine wise the 7.3 was the best ford had

  • Oh yeah, I agree, but I think the 6.0 is a good engine too if you take care of it. I have a 6.0 and absolutely love it. But I have to agree, the 7.3 is hard to beat.

  • yah 6.0 is a good motor but as you said you have to maintain it and as with all engines it has its pros and cons and on the 6.0 its problems overshadow its reliability and its rarely the engine that fails its usually the equipment around it fails mainly its EGR valve and all its other intricate emissions systems if it was stripped free of all that equipment it would be an even more solid engine

  • yep i agree. but i am interested to see what the new 2011 6.7 diesel motor can do...

  • this is true :)

  • @Blueford1979 Amen. Argueably the best gas motor ever produced!.

  • DAMN 7.3!!

  • Powerstroke all thee wayyyyy.

    Lovinn the smooookeee =]

    <3

  • OMFG WHAT A SMOKE!!!!Power Stroke Rulezz!!!

  • i want dat truck ddaammmmnn

  • The 7.3 is the best motor hands down. Too bad he is not running on veg oil.

  • finally! a vid without dicks hating on the best trucks: Ford. dicks always talking about how much better cummins and maxipad is:::::: they are both pieces of shit.

  • sweet vid fords rule

  • That's my dream truck...

  • Its great to see a 7.3 pulling that well in the mod stock! KICK ASS!!

  • it's called that one is actually set up right lol, i wonder howmany work hours they put in that thing. well probably work months lol

  • mabye years haha

  • nice diesel there!!! i want one like that!

  • i have a 7.3 and i tow my semi`s they are pure power go ford!!!

  • FORD IS THE LORD OF ALL TRUCKS!

  • AMEN

  • i completely agree

  • @k100trucker ooo yea...ha...and people call em powerjokes!

  • @k100trucker Thats a lie,.

  • @k100trucker that is double overtime truck. bosch international harvester fuel pump. off a dt466 truck. grafted on to his truck.

  • The guy in the sled had to of shit himself lol.

  • that was a great pull!!! wow what a truck that is can hear the turbos spool like a jet on the tarmac.

  • I was there, man!! awesome just fucking awesome!!! I beleve this is the truck with the powerstroke they turned into mecanical injection and had a 3408 Cat injector pump on it!!! thats what I said in the pits and the owner over herd me and asked me how I knew that I said, Well......let me tell you.

  • Badass Man! All the power to you!

  • shes pretty nasty

  • I wonder how much fuel is uses in a single pull? Thats sweet!

  • To show off even more...lol. I drove right over the ruts he just dugg into. Ford power! If I wanted a race car, I would have purchased a Mustang or a vette. I wanted the best all around truck. You guys need to face it. We have over 15 ford trucks here on our ranch. Most of them have over 159K miles on them. None of them ever act up. We do have a couple of dodges, but don't like the fact that the entire truck falls apart before the motor. One of the dodges has been problematic.

  • true cause my daily driven 5.0 has over 250,000 miles and it still runs like a champ...the only things i replace are clutches and tires...lol....now im installing a mild cam and intake manifold just to wake him up, and later on stroke and turbo.....if it aint blue it aint true.sick powerstroke

  • yea man i have a 7.3 pre power stroke it does lack a little brunt but i am yet to load my truck with something that makes my engine work rock on man Ford all the way

  • It cracks me up to see grown men cry when their brand new 60 thousand dollar truck can't climb worth a crap. The funniest story is one guy in a brand new 08 Dodge 3500. He would put his truck in 4 low and get a running start at climbing a small sand filled hill. His new truck would just dig in. I ended up driving around him and pulling him up the hill. I then demonstrated to him and his friends. I made a complete stop at the bottom of the hill, Put my 7.3 in 4 low and cotinued climbing the hill

  • The 7.3 is a damn great engine. I've had them all. The fact of the matter is you can't beat a stock ford. I currently work for a large corporation and know thousands of people. As everybody's bragging about there new trucks I have them run through an obstacle course to prove just how good there truck is. Lets just say my Ford 7.3 is king of the mountain still five years later. I'm still waiting for a stock truck to have the all around capability that a ford does.

  • this is THE most powerful powerstroke on the planet...over 1500HP at 160psi of diesel madness...now that is FORD power!!

  • that is the truth no doubt bout it

  • Man That is one strong powerstroke and a damn good driver. 368 feet is something good to go home with and take the first place win.

  • That was awesome!

Keep up the global warming, I'm sick of winter!

  • ha ha! funny man.

  • Double overtime was in the Latest edition of Diesel Power, this is the real deal the salvation of all Ford diesel lovers, Now we don't have to sit Idlely by and watch Cummins and Duramax rule the pulling world. Awesome.

  • i think it is dum when people say oh look at the pos ford or pos dodge or pos chev but if any truck was truly the best one out there everyone would buy it and no other trucks would still be made. Iam not saying oh ford is the best but i do like them and it is a proven fact that they sell more trucks then chevy and dodge combined

  • But I don't think anybody knows just how much cash went into building/machining that motor. Probably more than most of us make in a year. I think the "stroked out" 7.3 was said to have over 100k into it. Don't quote...saw it on a forum. But yeah. I love PSDs 6.0 or 7.3!

  • Well, unfortunately we still do have to watch them rule. We only have one 7.3 that has made it to this level, a class still way outnumbered by CTD's, and the fastest powerstroke has only run 10.96, which is still pretty far behind a lot of CTD's and Duramaxes. We still have a lot of work to do to catch up. One good truck in sleds and one in drags doesn't do much.

  • the other engines easily get higher HP numbers, but the powerstrokes almost never grenade on the dyno. there is something to be proud of.

  • sweet, my ride is my dads f150, but once i graduate high school and pass welding school, i'll save up some dough for a power stroke f350

  • If you want to build your 350 for power it will cost A LOT. The other motors are much cheaper to build for power and if you are on a tight budget you won't get far in building a PSD.

  • Hell yeah!!! fishtailin the sled, wwooooot.

  • strong stroke they just cost so much to build i had triple in my last stroke than my cummins but if you got the pockets go for it. I glad to see a ford that can really compeat.

  • I think the global temperature increased by about 3 degrees after that run. :-) Kick ass. Nice truck, and great job on the pull.

  • you've got to be serious, global warming? come on who really gives a shit

  • Double Overtime- Great job and congrats! Thanks for posting the video.

    clam

  • No Problemo!

Gotta love the Flame and the Announcer at the End! HAHAHHAA :)

    Big K

  • sweet video. got more double overtime vids?

  • Do you know if he'll be coming to Smoking In the smokies this coming spring?

  • No, I sure don't, but I will try to find out.

  • thats a sweet ass truck i love cummins but that just made me cum. fuck ya

  • uurrggg, sticky keyboard!!

  • GOOD JOB MAN! NICE TRUCK, and a nice engine!
