  • this is probably the coolest thing I have ever seen. I'll have one just raw wood, and I'll paint a dragon on it for my dining room

  • wouldn't want to get my knob caught in that!

  • "go! go! go!" "FFFUUUUUUUUU my finger!!!"

  • Can you imagine the blood blister you'd get on your hand if that pinched you?

  • Sure it's cool. But it would be cooler if the table was already set when you expanded it. :-)

  • balls deep man!

  • Camelot needs one of those.

  • @ZotzOnABagel mine is to aquire the secret to manufacturing this table

  • Id take the blonde before the table... or ON the table ;)

  • 2006 looks like a psycho futur table

  • Looks like a great way to sever a finger!

  • how much 5K?

  • @2000xlt Actually, I think it's more like 10-20K. O_o

  • @Nilyentaraka

Nope, 50-70 thousand. It's the most expensive table in the world. All the work is done by hand. The precision is so critical that the operation of the mechanism has to be tuned by hand, and this can involve machining new parts just for that table. It takes a whole month from start to finish to make just one.

  • @douro20:

Hot dog. I'd rather get an expandable Amish-made table!

  • @Nilyentaraka

sadly. they range in price between 20-35 thousand. Did I mention that this is in Euros?

  • bam, there go's my finger

  • What the heck just happened?

  • looks like the arc of iron man when it changes

  • That was my Idea!!!.....LoL...Not really, i wish.

  • I like the skirt the girl is wearing =]

  • there is only 1 explanation for this table...IT'S A TRANSFORMER!!!i really hope it's an autobot

  • Have you you seen the substantial design of the pedestal and the amount of effort she has to use to deploy it? That thing must weigh a ton. (sorry, I had to use deploy, there's no other word for that table) I'd love to see the mechanism. Why can't all furniture be that bizarre and cool?

  • i wish d girl comes w/ the table. now that would be THE AMAZING table.

  • @TheWakoko789, Then all you would have to do was get a crappy little table and put a hot chick on it, and every guy would want it.

  • its both circle, small n big. the trick is the outer ring thats rise up when u turn it in a small size

  • ... Leonardo's Stargate?... Aristotle's camera (obscura) shutter?...

  • very interesting... but i dun really understand

If we consider the tangents of the curvature of the edges of the 'pie' its impossible for the tablle to be exactly round for both the smaller and larger version of the table.

Any1 can explain to me the geometry behind it? :)

  • ...magic!

  • Not much to explain. You see all the pieces as they move around.

  • You know, i was just thinking that on another video.

It obviously doesnt stay perfectly round, but the small variation is probably enough that it isnt a big deal.

  • it is not the same uhm.. board for both of them... there's like a ring that pops out and completes the circle or whatever... I don't know how to explaing =(

  • oh ya, that makes sense... whoever comes out wif this idea got to be a genius!

  • yeah this is an impressive piece of design and engineering

  • your right, as the same pieces make two seperate curves!!!! never thought of that, and i'm a joiner!!!

  • smaller pieces are not round, they are like rectangles cut in the center to fit.. i guess

  • you're right, it must be a little bit hexagonal looking when it's smaller, then it's rounded properly in the big format.

  • Actually, I think the rim around the edge overlays the hexagon look to provide a second, circular edge.

  • how do we say this kind of table? spinning table? fold table?

  • Is it just me, or did anyone else expect Pinhead to rise out of the gate to hell in the middle of that thing?

  • That is exactly what I first thought

  • None of you have designed anything remotely this incredible, so shut up about it bsine a 'shame it needs 2 movements'.

    IDIOTS.

  • It's very beautiful!!! Is it Art-deco style?

  • I thought it was very cool, but the model lost her footing several times. Not exactly a video I would show to possible investors or buyers. Remake the video and have a model show a more smooth demonstration.

  • Where can I buy one?

  • i'd lmao if some lost a hand in the middle of that thatg

  • pricetag is not reasonable heh

    ($49,700 and $69,600).

  • Pretty nifty.

Shame it needs two movements to collapse it though.

  • Ingenious, but i'd like my furniture to be non-lethal to drunk people (ie. me)

  • Looks like the tables have turned, Mr. Bond.

  • lmao you made my day

  • Comment of the year!

  • @dethbiker lmao

  • this table is so cool!!!

  • A bit skanky.. but I like that in a girl,

  • wow

  • the man who sold me this house had no skills in opening doors

  • weird..interesting and very creative,Very Good Job.

  • bad idea to push the tables using the strength from the lower back, can cause serious damage to the spine...

let alone the safety, nice table design though.

  • Those flip flops don't match that skirt! Get some real shoes girl!

  • Imagine being drunk and having to change the table size. Grab it on the wrong area have your finger chopped off.

  • Maybe Schwartz doesn't like alcoholics

  • must way a ton...looked like she was puttin some elbow grease behind those pushes and pulls

  • Are you so lazy you can't take the time to type two extra letters, or just so stupid you can't spell this second-grade word?

  • You use on the vid a round table, can you do the same with a square table? :P (but all I can say its nice :D)

  • Magnificent!

  • very impressive, this is an invention that is useful, unlike that stupid walking table.

  • my life is complete

    :D

  • transformer, more than meets the eye.

transformer, table in disguise, uh, table in... oh to hell with it.

  • nice skirt and legs... great pin up video.. saw nothing

  • nice way doing workout!

  • this table is amazing the gears seems to be complex

  • nice ass

  • legs are nice too

  • Beautiful

  • amazing

  • Wouldn't want to get your fingers caught in there. Looks pretty sharp. :P

  • how cool is that! 0_o

  • OMFG thats the coolest shit ever!! that beats that walking table! 5/5!

  • Nice legs.

  • Im sold how much

  • a table top that thick is not good design even though the technology is amazing. you'd be hitting your knees or thighs on it constantly. function before form please.

  • jealous. You wouldn't hit your knees, because when the table expands, the edge is the same height as where the lip(?) was.

  • she's alright. not that hot

  • nice

  • I'd do her. :-) fuck yeah moondoggy.

  • how much?

  • it would be even better if it was motorized and used a remote. that would be sweet and something to showoff in your house lol.

  • what is it with you people and making everything robotic @.@

  • Looks like you could pinch a finger in that...

  • i got to have that table thats incredible!!! the round table of the future.

  • she's hot

  • pretty freaking amazing!

  • i think i saw one at wal-mart =)

  • is that at ikea?
