probably my favorite generation but series 4 was the worst yet. too depressing and one of the worst ways to end the series. the writers obviously were not thinking about how to end it in a good way. they just tried to throw in some "water cooler" moments in and it just made a mess of things. the writing staff for series 4 needs to be taken out back and shot!

Gen 1 and3 all the way! The producers pretty much screwed Gen 2 over with the last few episodes, and Freddie's death. Katie was the only good episodes of S4, imo.

@dcguy30 are u kidding me? GEN1 you are correct. GEN2.. u think was crap overall? Really?! GEN 2 had brilliant friendship, drama, love, passion, connected actor to audience emotion. GEN2 was amazing, the actors portrayed their characters brilliantly, they showed genuine emotion, Season 4, Cooks episode. The attachment he had with his little brother and the emotion that flowed throughout, the change in his little brothers attitude. GEN3=funny, but no emotion. Nothing new, or attachable about it.

@kyletinning7636 Gen 2 in the fourth series was too depressing for my liking. Sure, not everyone on Skins is 100% happy, but it was just too dark for me. Series 3 was better than 4, but it would've been better had the writers wrapped it better in the end.

My life, as hard as it was when I was a teenager, had none of that glamour. My point is, if you are going to watch something glamourised, why ,make it more depression? Get me? I still think it's a well written, well acted drama, but I'm sure you understand my point, even if you don't agree with it. Peace.

Season 4 was probably my least favorite of all the Skins series (I liked it a lot, I just didn't love it), but I have to say that if there's one thing it accomplished it made me absolutely LOVE Katie in it! Her character became one of the best characters, which is weird since in series 3 I didn't like her very much.
