I bought sunflower oil but in the label is not specified if it is cold pressed. Is it dangerous to use this oil if it isn't cold pressed?. The label says "obtained directly by mechanical procedure. Can I still use it? greetings from Italy

It seems that it would be easy enough for someone to actually examine the oil after you have spit it out to determine if it has accumulated these dreaded toxins as proponents claim. But I'm an atheist and I don't believe in astrology.How about a little science?

this is funny ..people get some oil, mix with water in a glass, cover it, and shake the glass for a while, the mixture will turn white, its an emulsification process, has nothing to do with drawing toxins from your mouth, some research should be done to investigate such therapeutic claims..

The color of the oil changes only because of a phenomenon known as "emulsification". Whenever any oil is mixed with in-soluble solution (like water, saliva) and you vigerously stir the mixture (as has been suggested in the video) it will turn milkish in color.

I said that "olive oil yellows your teeth"...I did not say that "olive oil is yellow, so it will yellow your teeth"...sunflower and sesame oils are also yellow. I and others have used olive oil and it has darkened our teeth. You may not experience the same results. The effects of oil pulling vary from individual to individual. You may not have ANY results at all. Oil pulling (with sunflower oil) has whitened my teeth, cleared my skin and is slowly clearing the mucous out of my chest.
