Don't worry, I know nothing about politics either. Not American politics, and not my own politics either.

But in Canada, it is kind of an unwritten law that we need to be totally unaware of what the government is doing. All we're allowed to know is that Stephen Harper is a robot in a sweatervest. Anything more would make us informed, and who would want that? It's not like it's, y'know, IMPORTANT or anything..

Though I think we NEED a government, because people can't function unless there is some type of order.
