  • Seems like the natural successor to Joe Pesci going nuts in Goodfellas.

  • Al Capone = The Public. Reporter = SOPA

  • He is almost as good as DeNiro... maybe even the same level!

  • I'm making a statement was so De Niro

  • I think in season 3 they're going to really expand on Capone's character, considering what happened and all.... still can't believe the did that.

  • He sure did make a statement at 0:53

  • Stephen Graham is the greatest actor on Earth! Better Capone than De Niro!

  • lol he made a statement on that guys face

  • HAHAAAAA :D:D:D lol

  • LMAO

  • Needs more Jar Jar !!!

  • thanx for upload - remind me, please, which episode was this?

  • isn't that last guy one of Phil leotardo guys in the sopranos?the guy who says the fucks is going on?

  • @ushuaia213 yea his underboss Butch

  • @ushuaia213 Yeah, he's Johnny Torrio on Boardwalk Empire.

  • tha fuck's goin on i makeing a statement

  • 1:05 - tha fuck's goin on?

    1:10 - 'aight then

  • I was very skeptical when I heard a true Brit to play Al Capone, glad he proved me so wrong.

  • Joe Torrio's reaction at 1:05 is priceless!

    "What the fuck's going on?"

  • More like Al Capwned.

  • @Pentagon1311 You should change it back to its original title so I can know what it was before this conversation took place :)

  • @86Giuliani This is Capone when he was just starting out. As the creators liked to put it, the "baby" gangsters.

  • amazing

  • the fucks going on? "I'm making a statement"

  • yeah..im going to be a journalist.

  • he sure likes to break jaws.

  • That was a good statement. Lol

  • Man, journalism was hard back then

    hahahahahhahahaa

  • @Brzbrngr so hard they got their asses kicked. HAHAHAHAHA!

  • He is amazing last thing I saw him in was This is england 86, and this is england, if your from American look it up on youtube probably shock you he's a great actor, also movie with brad pitt called snatch although he has a small part in that

  • LOL I love this scene.

  • This programme is Epic. I hope it lasts a long time like The Sopranos and keeps bringing in new characters. Great show

  • Stephen Graham, top Brit actor.

  • Graham is the next DeNiro.

  • From Tommy 'the tit' to babyface Nelson and now he's Al Capone. That kid's going places;)

  • Looking back at it, it was probably a bad idea to ask for a statement

  • lol Al Capone's like Chucky, small but deadly. you can ask da Kevin James look-a-like who got beat

  • "the fucks going on" lol

  • @BlackSoulAcid "I'm giving a fucking statement"

  • Cutting edge journalism

  • now that's what i call making a statement

  • I like Grahm as an actor he just doesn't fit the part of Capone at all. He's too short and his accent is too thick. Capone didn't really have an accent. He talked pretty normal. Plus he had dark black hair, not brown. This guy looks too Irish to be playing an Italian mobster.

  • @eyedea81 What was normal talking back then? Everybody has an accent. I agree that he doesn't look rightfor the character though.

  • @jovialduke No, people from Washington state sound like people from Florida. In the broader spectrum, an American accent is pretty obvious. There are local accents like, New York, Jersey, Minnisota, Chicago, and obviously the south. I was just saying Capone's accent wasn't at all NY sounding. Plus, Graham is what, 5'5"....pretty short to be playing a guy who was 5'10" weighing 275.

  • @eyedea81 The real Tommy DeVito from Goodfellas was 6'2" weighing over 200 pounds while in the movie he's depicted like a short man with a napoleon complex and yet Pesci gave an oscar-worthy performance, so what i'm saying is these things don't matter that much, they're just insignificant technicalities...

  • @eyedea81 hes scouse though, they can barely speak english themselves so imagine how hard it must be to pull off a new yorker

  • @steas ay we scousers can hold our english as good as any

  • Butchie!

  • @FallenFromGrace90 i always thought he was one of the most dangerous characters on the sopranos. glad the guy is on this, and paulie walnuts will be on the show sometime within the year hopefully. this show is just going to skyrocket.

  • You couldn't find a more versatile actor.

  • I can't watch this scene without laughing my ass off! These guys didn't mess around in those days, they'd just as soon rip your head off than answer your questions. Priceless! I have really grown to appreciate this show, and Scorcese is the man!

  • Al Capone is The Fonz of this mini series. He Rules.

  • @foulmouthfromsouth this is a mini serious? i seriously hope not

  • @MrMcGibletts022 No, it's an actual show.

  • @MrMcGibletts022 Depends on what you call a mini series. Boardwalk Empire is 12 episodes long, each episode's approximately 55 minutes.

  • Stephen Graham is extremely underrated.

  • @monkeytriangle666 hopefully after this he wont be , hes great

  • @monkeytriangle666 hopefully, he'll be nominated for an Emmy this year, if not we still got a some more seasons. The role is supposed to raise his reputation. seen the movie season of the witch? he had a longer role. he's gonna get bigger and bigger. i bet he has a popularity in England.

  • @victorspell1 I havent seen that film but i must check it out. He is pretty big in england,he's been in a load of random english movies with small-ish roles along with the film and TV series 'This is England'.

  • @monkeytriangle666 well not now he's not.

  • @monkeytriangle666 I agree, check out the youtube ciip from the film 'This is England' called 'Combo's madness.' He is sensational in that.

  • @monkeytriangle666 Anyone who disagrees needs to watch this clip.

  • @monkeytriangle666 i know right! from being in band of brothers, gangs of new york to playing Public enemies among many other short appearances im glad hes in this.

  • @monkeytriangle666

    He won't be for long.

  • @monkeytriangle666 he is great as Al Capone even looks similar

  • @monkeytriangle666 every video of him has a comment saying he's underrated. How is he? Hes clearly recognised as an amazing actor to get roles like this in series like this! haha check out how many major films hes been in on imdb, he isnt underrated at all.

the fact that you have 90 people agreeing with you means that he is actually NOT underrated, surely?

  • @mowgli123456789 ask anyone who stephen graham is.. you wont get many people who do know who he is.. those 93 people are people who know this thats why he has thumbs up.. not because of what you said.. its true the industry may recognize him but many people dont

  • @mowgli123456789 you're defenition of underrated is probably a little different to other peoples lol

  • @chincheek1 haha yeah i think your probably right there mate.

Its just when you know any actor, even when they are really really talented 90% have never and will never be picked up for something like this.

There are probably actors that could be just as good as him in these comment boards that havent been noticed yet.

and they have to come on here and read about how hes sooooo 'underrated' haha :(

  • best show ever

  • 'I'm making a statement' LOL
