  • Good race but the cts jumped.

  • Any chance of seeing a rematch or 3?? I am a V guy fo sho... But I kinda got the bug to snag up an SRT8 Chrysler 300... I think it's great to watch 2 American "Luxury" Sedans racing their asses off!!!

  • I'm a CTS-V fan, but even I can see the Caddy jumped the start.

  • @bluttered that cts v would smoke that boat any day, hands down. Even with same mods the thing ways like 6,000 lbs. A 300 is not ment to be a street racing car(a boat if anything). The 6.1 should only be used on charger, challenger (classics), and Grand Cherokee. Crysler 300 is a disgrace to the hemi 6.1, it has much more potential in a more maneuverable car.

  • Have you taken your CTSV to the track. Just wondering what a cammed bolton V will run the quarter in.

  • @maxspeed96ct Oh I think it could do a bit better than that. My neighbor owned an 05 stock and it ran 12's he just bought an 09 v and it ran 11's

  • Fact of the matter is, if I have the same mods as you as in ported tb/cam/headers and cutome tune I would be out front. I wouldn't even mod the auto tranny but you can run your lightened flywheel and fidanza clutch. Why won't you race me this weekend with a 50 shot? Because you only race cars that are undermodded or 4 banger imports. If you bought a car to run from people on the highway then why didn't you just buy a street bike cause that's all a V1 is good for

Stop being a bitch and redyno that car to get some real numbers on paper and man up and run my car is your CTS-V is so badass. I will dyno it for free tonight but you still won't do it because your a lying sack of shit hahaha

US President Status, Mafia Status, Hearse Status since Europe uses Benz's for Hearses. But USA is richer than Europe so we use Caddys for our #1 Brand here.

  • @maxspeed96ct I'm talking about clutches because your car is modded much more than my car. Everything you've done is done for a reason. My car is stock basically with a tune/ cat back and cold air intake and you think your beat ass cts-v is fast because you beat an SRT-8 with a canned tune in it. I'll show you whos fast this weekend with an auto tranny

  • @maxspeed96ct dude I think bluttered is also forgetting those so called 4 bangers use all the forced induction possible, the GTR is nothing without those giant 2 turbos and evo uses an AWD setup with turbo while LS6 is N/A with plenty of room for turbos or a supercharger. would take the caddy over any other 4 door.

  • @UFCextra Are you talking from experience? because I owned a 2006 CTS-V also and they are maintenance nightmares. Constant issues, they eat motor mounts, blow diffs and axles, trans mounts, cradle and rear end bushings and the ls motors have wicked piston slap. You have no clue what you are even talking about. You obviously haven't owned either car. If they are a 10/10 why do they have all these common issues?

  • Cadillac called....They said your new differential, 70lb dual mass flywheel, motor mounts, trans mount, cradlle bushings 1 1/4 inch axle shafts are in. They also said if your radio buttons are wearing off to bring the car in and they would replace the button!!

  • @bluttered this is the 3rd post you keep talking about this differential. As you noticed mine held the torque well and I passed you. thats all that matters.

  • @maxspeed96ct First off your you tell people you make less than you do off your old dyno sheets. I offered to redyno the car for free and you pussied out because you know the truth. You will not race me from a dig....because you know I will win and you will break. If we had evenly modded cars as in my car had a ported throttle body, custom tune, cam and headers like yours I would walk all over you. Game over Why won't you race me this weekend????? I'm only running a 50 shot.....

  • Forgot to list all your mods on the CTS-V: Long tube headers, Cam, no cats with 3" inch connector pipes, 3" Catback, fidanza clutch, lightened fly wheel, underdrive pulley, Cold Air Intake, intake porting/tb.... custom dyno tuning....

    The SRT-8 is a 2006 with a AFE cold air intake, underdrive pulley, 3" catted midpipes connected to JBA 3" catback exhaust with a Canned Diablosport Predator tune - tires spun both runs from take off - Where's last run from 60 where I got traction?

  • @bluttered the run from 60 is the second run, 60mph puts me in third which is a wicked dead spot for me , thats the only reason you hung around for a second .

    Both cars have almost the same mods but the CTS-V has a CAM.

    To be honest even with a CAM that turtle wont hang with me anyways. It would need F.I.

  • @maxspeed96ct When you fix that differential shattering, wheel hopping mess of a rear end call me and we'll run from a dig. You should be the last one with rpm excuses I am at 3500 rpms in second gear at 50 mph that why you destroy me and on top of it lost traction for a good couple seconds. I'll admit the V has great top end. The thing is though...... I can drive to the track, run mid 12's with a CAI, Exhaust(no headers) and a plug and play tune and drive home. All in Over Drive!! LOL

  • @maxspeed96ct Yup from 3500 to about 5500 to tires break loose for a few seconds. Ask your 250lb buddy who was in the car with me. Thats raw 6.1 hemi torque. Next weekend when we rematch there won't be any bs expect for your dyno numbers.

  • @larryadam2 With equal mods on the Hemi and the same weight reduction maxspeed did my 300c would destroy that V. I decided not to waste $3k between Headers/Cam and bought the Nitrous Outlet NO2 kit for the car. A 25 shot would event he cars out but the 150 shot i'm going to run with the Nitto Drag Radials will pu the car in a whole different ballgame!!

    what race are you talking about. You were so far back by 120mph I couldnt even count how many car lenghts it was. You need more then a cam.

    BTW a cam is very cheap to do on a LS car since I did my own labor.

    You should of just kept your V. Now you have to run F.I. to play with the big guns

  • @maxspeed96ct I would of kept my V if I liked spending time at the dealer or liked racing from 60 mph on the highway. Let me know when you can break 13's with that roach and maybe we can run a real race from a dig. I already know the response i'll get back from a V owner on that LOL BTW you should be due for motor mounts soon aren't they done in 5000 mile increments on those cars? hahaha

Caddy Is A #1 Kind of Automobile ..The Cheapest new Caddy is almost $50K, The Cheapest new Chrystler is almost $30K. CADILLAC IS CADILLAC MEANING SHIELD KING COAT OF ARMS .
