when you were trying to line up the word to the l at 5:10 ish, you could just use your arrows on your keyboard to get exact control. Hope that helps, love your tuts

A few shortcuts you don't mention that would speed this up:

-To duplicate, select the mover tool and the layer you want to duplicate, then hold alt and just drag it to duplicate it.You can also drag the layer in the layers panel to the 'new layer' icon to duplicate it.

-When you're rotating the text, hold shift to rotate in increments of 45 (I think) degrees.

-To zoom, hold alt and use your mouse wheel to zoom in/out

When he starts transforming the text he just says "Imma hit Ctrl+T right now and get my creative on with..." or something like that. He doesn't say "this is the free transform tool found under Edit -> Transform, or ctrl +t. It does..." Instead, he's just literally following a tutorial in front of us that has been better done and explained by others before him.

@BradSydorick Even still... many of Montagical's videos are lacking in a lot of key information. The pen tool video especially. They neglected to show some of the key features of the pen tool, and they didn't even cover the difference between vector and raster, and the main use of the pen tool.

@SenoreQueso I disagree, so far I've learned a lot from these videos. The pen tool included. Just because he did not cover an ability of the tool does not mean that he missed it. They might go back to it, even just skip it. Its not what they haven't taught, its what they have. Montagical does not have to cover every feature of photoshop, just teach you something to get you started on your own way.
